All I really want is a pair of Aligns in that beautiful seascape color !! SIGH
Actually, regarding aligns... I love the fabric, and they're so comfy, but I find they show every lump and bump in my less than perfect legs. I work out, have strong legs, and am a small person, but I have had kids and gained/lost weight through my pregnancies. I'm just wondering if the ladies who love aligns wear them despite their showing imperfections. Maybe I care too much, but I feel like even luxtreme doesn't offer me the coverage I need. I appreciate any feedback on this. I have a beautiful pair of dark carbon aligns but I'm torn whether to keep them or not because $100 for pants that don't conceal my lumps and bumps at all seems like too much.
@Farm girl- I have the same problem with Aligns - they show every lump and bump. I only got a pair of black on International Women's Day for 21% off to wear around the house on warmer days. I find Athleta's Powervita Salutation crops better for coverage and a similar feel to nulu. I have similar problems with solid colored luxtremes, though full on luxtreme is better. It's one reason I tend to go for prints and the textured luxtremes like herringbone.
I sized down in the aligns and was surprised by how smoothing they were for such a soft and un-compressive fabric. I have one pair in black that I bought to wear casually under dresses that are just a bit too short for my middle aged body. It seems a bit decadent to have spent so much money on something that mostly gets covered up, but I'm quite short and the waist comes up so high on me. I can't get past the feeling that I'm wearing some sort of old lady foundation garment. Oh well. Maybe I'll get over myself and wear them to yoga sometime.
Ladies relax, everybody has a lit bit of cellulite even models it just gets photoshopped . I'm in a good shape 19% body fat, very muscular , size 4 and I have couple of spots on my legs. There are few girls at my gym who are in fantastic shape like competition ready and I noticed some cellulite on their legs and butt when they wear boogy shorts. Nobidt cares
I really like the dark adobe color for crops- I might have to order those.
I love the dark carbon color and I would love to buy the aligns but I have the same issue. I've bought almost every color of aligns this spring except the dark carbon b/c they just looked really bad on me lumps and bumps wise :( I ordered the dark carbon fast and free tight last week and I think it's a little better for not showing everything but only slightly. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep the F&F's or not.
Has anybody with a short torso purchased the intended tank? I wonder if it would give more coverage in the front area.
Has anyone seen the color Boysenberry in real life? Is it dull? Closer to black or plum? Thanks
I have a a Gratitude Wrap (French Terry) in Black Swan and a Scuba IV (Fleece) in Boysenberry. Boysenberry looks like a slightly faded Version of Black Swan when comparing these two items. They are very close and definitely the same tone. Boysenberry looks very nice when paired with Black Currant or Magnum.
@anon 10:12, it's closer to plum
8:47 totally agree with you. I tend to have the cottage cheese on my belly not my bum or legs, I am also trim, nothing I can do to make my belly super flat.
Love yourself as you are.
M
I just bought it and i sized down and my regular size was too boxy. It is very cute and provides coverage in the belly area, but is very low cut (sprts bra is intended to show :)
