I think it's more the winter-on-top, summer-on-bottom-ness of it. Of course, if you're coming from the gym, you might be feeling hot and cold, but it is sort of a weird look. Like flip flops with a parka.
I think this jacket works for a certain body shapes but not others. I personally love it and I am slim and tiny. Size 2 is TTS and fits like a glove. The jacket is very flattering and the hem doesn't flare out on me. I love that it's light and warm, and you can dress up or down with the black one, I own an Embrace the Space Hoodie and the Going Places Hooded Jacket is even better because of the longer length and double zippers. It's a bit pricey but I can see myself wearing it a lot. Sleeve length is good and silhouette is straight. You might need to size up if you wanna layer a scuba hoodie underneath. Overall I'm happy with this purchase.
I tried it and purchased this in the exact color . My size up looked like the above pics and my TTS was less of a flare so I ended up going with my TTS. Agree that it's pricy but it's very well made soft and pockets lined with fleece :) May have purchased another color of price was lower . I love a butt covering cozy jacket and happy they gave this a double zip top !
It's actually not a winter jacket. Even though it's long it's a mid-layer weight. And it's designed so you can wear it to and from class. Hence the mesh.
I purchased this jacket in my size down- I absolutely love it. It's so flattering and comfortable- it doesn't "duck tail" on me. The stock photos look like the models are wearing a size up- definitely doesn't do it justice. If this piece goes on MD I will def be buying a second one in a different colour.

Mesh with winter jackets is the new Ugg boots and denim miniskirt. WHY?!
I love that jacket, but I just can bring myself to pay full price. If they would have priced it better, like say $98, I wouldn't hesitate.
It's no freezing cold everywhere

Poor design. The proportions don't look flattering. The bottom flares awkwardly.
@ anon 6:24 am - It does and the bottom seems to flare out (duck tail) on people.
