One of four local "The Local" lululemon concept stores has opened in Bend, Oregon this weekend. The other three stores are located in Fort Collins, Colorado, Sun Valley, Idaho, and Fishtown in Philadelphia. What is really about the Bend store is that they partnered with local leather maker J Paige & Co (more photos on their Facebook page here) to make a collection of totes, backpacks, and other leather goods for the store. I really like this backpack, which looks like a customized version of the Tate Rolltop, $424, from the website.

I really like the idea of regional stores with customized local products. It would be awesome if they also offered special print items by local artists, like they did for the Robson store grand opening.
