Did anyone brave the Black Friday crowds this morning? I went to two lululemon stores and most of the stuff was the same as WMTM. However, I did score a Deep Green Essentials tank for a nice price. It seemed that the crowds were more bargain hunters and college girls than lululemon die-hards. I got to see the new prints in person and remain underwhelmed.

Ivivva got reflective pieces. I thought lululemon was supposed to get some new reflective stuff for Black Friday. Is it coming for Cyber Monday?

I don't usually do Black Friday shopping in the mall but I decided to go today because I got the email that my local Lululemon was opening at 5am and it is the first time they have opened that early. I thought there would be something good in terms of sales! I got there and the only stuff on sale was the stuff already on markdown on WMTM. I was extremely disappointed. And I agree it was mostly college students and some bargain hunters. Honestly I've done better at the private sales events so I'll stick to those from now on.
Was there any shine to the iridescent print? It doesn't look like it in the photos, so I'm wondering what makes it "iridescent."
The Ivivva tights are AWESOME. I saw them this morning and it made me even more disappointed in the feathers than I already was. I scored a bunch of great stuff on the Black Friday sale though! Ready for Rulu hoodie and the funky Austin Powers Nulux tights for 59 and the Darkest Magenta Wild and free tight for 69. I glad I didn't try them on before because of the mesh, I totally would have paid full price for them.
I LOVE the new Ivivva! The print on that tank top and the reflective tights are so beautiful, I wish they came in adult sizing.
Lulu lately has been so...boring. I miss the old pretty prints and colours (unicorn tears is the #1 print in my heart) I barely even bother to check the new stuff on upload days anymore.
Did you happen to see that there will be new reflective tights coming this season? It's not spatter, either!

FYI I went to Ivivva today and all the cosmic reversible tights had the exact same pattern placement, in every size. no need to cherry pick and no extra price for that. The crb is reversible to black too, I dont remember if it's said on the website
Oh wow! I really, really like the ivivva stuff!! Soooo jealous :(. I'm too large to fit into any of those!

1. How big (small) is Ivivva stuff? I mean how does it compare to Lululemon sizing? if I am a size 6 in Lulu, would I be able to find anything that would fit me at Ivivva??

I picked up an olive colored first mile jacket for $129. It was the only one left in the store-so not sure if the others had been discounted.

Frozen Fizz Speed Tights look nice, but the way it's presented on the preview page makes it look like they'll be Speed Tight Vs, meaning not brushed and having those ridiculous, huge, mesh panels on the back of the legs. I hope not. But if they are, I'm not too bothered, because I was lucky enough to pick up the reflective dot brushed speeds they had on WMTM in October. They are awesome and so cute. If I had to choose between the two, it would be a no brainer to go with the ones I bought.

I seriously just said to my boyfriend that the only way I'd buy anything new these days is if they made a pair of running tights that look like a star field. I said it just yesterday!! So funny. These will definitely be mine. Hopefully we'll see them Boxing Day! I DO wish they had more black and less dots, but I'll take it! I really need to lose more weight so I can get into the Ivivva stuff.
@lulubell - I really don't think they understand what iridescent means. I got so excited to see the print under natural light but the colors didn't seem to change at all. Super disappointing.
Whoa at YogaSmoga- everything 75% off? I haven't heard anything about them in awhile. I checked their site, and very little product left. Does anyone know if they're going to make it? Seems like a pretty aggressive sale if things are going well.
On the same page as you luluaddict. I'm so psyched I found out I fit in ivivva the other day (not in tops though sadly). I ordered the reflective tights and shorts, and another pair of pants with zippers. I'm 5' 10" so I'm not sure the length will be sufficient but we shall see. And they shipped already, unlike any of my other Black Friday purchases!
Heads up: I ordered the yin time bag online on Thursday for $99 and see it went down to $79. I asked for the difference back via live chat and it was no problem.
Does anyone know how the sizing on ivivva is? If you're a LLL 4, is that a 12 or 14 in ivivva? I really want to try them out.
I hit only one Lululemon and totally agree, mainly bargain hunters and nothing other then sale racks seemed to be inundated by eager shoppers. Super underwhelmed by the Black Friday feather and iridescent prints (what does their iridescent mean really ?) I purchased nothing and as for Iviva, who's designing for them , please promote them to design for Lululemon because so far this guy at the helm is producing such boring crap it's such a shame !!
I went to Lulu before work and I was not impressed. It seemed like the exact same stuff from WMTM. In the past, I've gotten shorts for $19 on Black Friday but this year they were $39. I ended up placing an order with Yogasmoga. Got two capris, two tanks and a sports bra for $87. Pretty great!

I see Insculpt jackets are back in stock, too. I went back and got the black I originally wanted. I also got my son a pair of kung fu pants.

I would say 12 for bottoms. I'm a lulu 6 and their 14 fits for pants and their rhythmic shorts. I've never tried their looser fitting shorts. Their 14 is usually snug on me for tops so depends how you're built, the best way to figure out is to do a side by side comparison of lulu and ivivva size charts, theyre accurate

I'm normally a size 4-6 in Lululemon and I just ordered the Ivivva Moon Gem Sweater, Rhythmic Tight in Black/Galaxy Warrior, and Keep Ur Cool Racer in Super Space Vintage Pink Power Purple all in size 14. I'll let you know how they all fit when they get here! I'm equally as disappointed in Lulu and am hoping that these work for me!
I saw that. Dropped split by $40!! I of course paid the higher price 12 hours earlier. Will they do a price adjustment? Is it worth it to ask??

I'm a 4 in pants usually. I ordered a 14 for everything. I have one pair of speedy shorts in size 14 already and they are a good fit for me. I'll let you know how length is once they arrive!
I'm 5'4 and fit everything 14 at Ivivva, but a size 2 corresponds to a 12 and 14 corresponds to somewhere between a 4 and 6
I love the Ivivva reflective tights! I'm only hesitating pulling the trigger because their tights are SO low rise. That may work for a stick-like teenager, but I'd rather not have my butt sticking out when I'm squatting!
I'm a 6 in Lulu pants so I bought the Ivivva reflective tights in the 14. However, I'm no stick, so they may not work - but it seems worth a shot! I'll post back when they arrive. I know for sure there is no way any of the tops would fit me - busty with a broad ribcage - sigh. I so wish Lulu would take a cue from the Ivivva designers. I've got enough black, white and grey to last me a lifetime - I'm so starved for COLOR! Not a fan of any of the prints released lately. Oh well - my wallet stays safe.
I called yesterday and they gave me a price adjustment. $40 is a big difference.

Update! My order finally arrived today. Definitely no go on the Keep Ur Cool Racer - it was clearly designed for someone with minimal to no chest so that's going back.
I actually really like the Moon Gem Sweater. I wish it was a little longer, but it's meant to have a tank underneath. Definitely a comfortable fit.
I'm torn on the Rhythmic Tights. They appear to fit overall, and they're super great fabric, but I have a little more to my backside and I can't tell if they're see through in the back. That's really my only concern, so I'm going to think on it.
On a side note, I also got the Moon Gem black cross body bag and LOVE it. It doesn't look juvenile at all and it's the perfect size. There's a great zippered compartment and then a slip pocket behind the flap for quicker access to your phone, keys etc. highly recommend!
