Spotted on lululemon's Instagram feed (thanks to Ms. G. for the heads up) - an upcoming reflective collection. It's not clear to me whether this is NYC lab only or company-wide.

These look awesome, although sure they will be insanely expensive. Glad I got the reflective brushed speeds last week!
Not to hijack this thread, but do any of you ladies have experience using Tradesy to sell your pre-loved lulu? I have always sold on ebay in the past, but the Tradesy route seems possibly easier wrt listing and shipping. Does anyone have good or bad experiences with Tradesy? Would you recommend it over ebay? Thanks!
Because the splatter collection was so popular? I do like it better than the animal print. I actually love reflective wear it's just price prohibitive for me.
there items from last years' reflective capsule on WMTM just a few weeks ago! If this collection is company wide, i hope it's at a more realistic pricepoint (aka not $300 FOR A PAIR OF PANTS!!)
I hit send on my initial comment before I was done. I noticed some of the new men's products (specifically pants) say NYC lab, so I wonder if it's a new collection being brought to the website?
OT- Define Jacket Sizing- is the Define a size up item? Thinking if ordering from WMTM I have big shoulders and pretty muscular arms (glad all those push ups count for something!) but little boobs. An 8 in LS swiftly fits perfect. I have an 8 and a 10 in think fast pullovers; both fit OK. I usually wear 8 in tanks but somethings size up for LS bc of my shoulders. I took a 10 in the old scuba; 8 in the new scuba. Thanks! I'm on the fence about sizing.
I'm all for reflective clothing. These are great (although I could not use the bra). I can imagine how pricey they will be, but I do spend when it's about my safety. I notice when the drivers see me on my evening walks on the roads where there's no sidewalk, and give me a wide berth. I have the reflective vests, jackets, tights and tops from LLL, and I wouldn't mind buying more. Especially if they go to WMTM. Last week, 10 pedestrians were hit in Toronto on Thursday between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. In my mind, ALL garments that we put on our bodies should have reflective qualities. And what do people wear in the winter in the pitch dark? Black and dark colours.
To the first commentor, Tradesy is great although sometimes things will sit for a while before they sell. I found the best time to post new items is Sunday evening, a lot of times things will sell right away.
I like Poshmark better but they take a huge cut. I post on both and hope they sell on Tradesy ;)
If safety is number one concern then there are definitely cheaper alternatives. If I needed to be sure to be seen and required reflectivity then I would probably just put on one of those X marks the spot vest things on over my other usual clothing. cheap and certainly effective and I can wear whatever clothes I want with it. But by all means, if you like this kind of stuff (the reflective clothing like these) then go for it. Personally not a fan of any of the reflective stuff I've seen and would rather wear my usual clothes with one of those big 'X' vest things.
@ anon 6:11 am - If you are on facebook there are a number of large facebook selling groups. They all use Paypal as a method to pay so you are protected. Lulumum and I help admin one that has over 23,000 members that has a very large US audience: https://www.facebook.com/groups/lululemonbuyselltrade/. If you are Canadian I can recommend other FB groups with large Canadian memberships. By using FB groups you only have to cover the Paypal fees but things sell quickly when they are priced on the lower end of things.
anon@8:43am I have average shoulder width and arm size, larger chest. 5'6", 135 lbs, 34D. I take an 8 in Define Jacket (not too snug) and l/s swiftly. I take a 6 in the old scuba (I like it snug). I take an 8 in bra cup tanks but typically a 6 in plain tanks. Not sure if that helps. Sounds like you are better off trying both sizes if you have a store near you. The Define stretches a lot more than a scuba, so keep that in mind.
Re reflective print...I'd like to buy the reflective pant from last year. I think it was $300, but I don't recall it going to WMTM. Maybe I missed it. Not into the splatter print in any variation.
True! I used to work around a college living area. It was so hard to see pedestrians. I got the one really stylish reflect jacket and the bomber all on wmtm. Bomber was $125 they don't breathe well but that's enough for me. I'm not paying $300 for a pair of pants. I have the tracer 360 for running and monkeye electric lights on my bike they are both better than reflect wear not to mention cheaper.
I still have a skirt and a vest from a couple years ago that are reflective and are still in good shape. I also got a reflective long sleeve and tank and some running pants that are reflective from a sale last spring on the Sweaty Betty site. I am good with the reflective gear.
I don't get it. The after Christmas sale at my store last year included a ton of reflective stuff marked down to 50% off, some as low as 80% off. I passed on a reflective vest that was marked down to $29 because, like you LLA, I don't run at night. But the discount psychology was tempting me because I am a sucker for a "good" deal even if said good deal ends up sitting in my closet (YES, I am working on this compulsion).
Moral of the story is....be patient if you want any of this stuff. Then call around to stores after Christmas.

too bad I don't like the splatter print...
I noticed the men's side has some products labeled as NYC Lab

Reflective splatter it looks like. No thanks. I did like the reflective floral patterns, but I'm seeing it on a lot of brands now, for much less.

Soon to be at a WMTM near you! :p
Prolly gonna be like 5000$ for a pair of leggings :/
Wow looks amazing. ..and therefore 250$ or more for tights. One day...
NYC Marathon gear?
Barely any of the reflective for $$$$$ sold in NY stores and all went on MD. I got the speed shorts for $39.....I will wait for MD on these as well.
Oh goodie more over priced black and white spray ..,
I would say size up. I have broad shoulders and long arms. My 3 Defines are all a size up from my crb size.

Hi! I size up in defines (broad shoulders and 34D bust) from my CRB size. So 6 in CRB, 8 in Define (and Energy bras). HTH!

Hahaha these just went live at $298 USD for the speed tights. F that. I'm really over Lulu after all the quality issues, and now more crazy prices.
They are online in CA:

the collection is live now and as predicted, the pants are 298 CAD!
lulu just sent a "get it here first" email with all the splatter stuff.
The reflective stuff is on the website now. http://shop.lululemon.com/c/Splatter-Reflective/_/N-8cg
Thank you!! I really wish LL would get their sizing straight!

Thanks LLA and Anon 8:03 for the FB and Tradesy tips! :)

LLA could you please post the link to the Lululemon buy and sell Facebook group with a large Canadian membership? Thanks!
