Thanks to Ms. L. for the heads up on a foreign article revealing two new digital prints. The brown (gray?) is called Oh La Lace but I don't have a name for blue print. The blue is interesting but I'd need to see more photos.
The best thing about the top print is the name, Oh La Lace, the actual print/blocking doesn't live up to the name, too bad. All they need is a garter belt print on the solid to make them look like pantyhose. The dark seam on the crotch doesn't help the look either. As for the bottom (blue) print, didn't they just release a similar blue print last week?
I actually like both of these prints but would have to see them in person to know for sure. However, I so agree with anon 9:05, someone does need to be fired. My vote is for the two top guys, who clearly don't understand Lulu. Lulu got to where it is at for a reason, not to go off in an insane opposite direction....
This company in no way resembles its former self. Everything is so cheesy, unflattering, and poorly made. Has anyone designing these clothes ever seen a woman's body? I feel like other companies are reading these blogs and comments but LLL is just completely ignoring customer feedback. They managed to do a complete 180 in a matter of months at the cost of much of their existing customer base. Even the stores have shed educators that actually know anything - everyone working in my local LLL stores now is just bitchy and inconvenienced like any other retail employee, to say nothing of their absolute cluelessness with regard to the products.
When I saw the top crops first thing that came to mind was velvet wallpaper. Who comes up with these designs? You could not pay me to wear those crops..
THIS! I also believe they are completely ignoring any customer feedback they receive. or even doing exactly the opposite of what customers are asking for. at this point the only answer I can come up with is that they are trying to damage the company on purpose in order to prepare it for a take over.
OMG, these two pairs of tights should not be released for sale! They are each just ugly in their own unique way. The top one is incredibly tacky as well.
Trashy and tacky. While I agree Holman should be given the boot, I'm also beyond unimpressed with the "digital strategy" guy Potdevin hired. So when do repeated gross missteps start getting pinned on the CEO? Ultimately, he's the one who should be saying, "Uh, guys... this stuff if not what this brand represents."
not doing a thing for me. I do have to say that I did a half marathon this weekend in the outrun17" crop in the pink paisley pattern and they held up quite well and the leg pocket was big enough to hold my big iphone 6. No chaffing, no pulling etc. I was surpriced.
Wow, LLL gets more unbelievable by the minute. Why am I still so surprised that it gets worse and not better?
Bottom/blues: what is the point? Ugly and they look like the other useless, Austin Powers ones.
Top/gray w. lace: This is just so bad. More h00ker look. wth, gray top with lace on legs. Many women complain about sweat showing so this is the plan? AND it cannot be the reverse with the lace on top because that would just look like true underwear (long or short!) over one's tights. LOL I am surprised they didn't actually do this because it would be an even more typical LLL blunder.
Indeed, fire a bunch of people. Including Potdevin and closest advisors. Clearly these people have no clue. Absolutely ZERO taste or sense of what is classy. That's an interesting realm they roll in to think this is anything modern, progressive, or edgy for any brand. I don't care if it has a LLL logo on it or not. I guess they are trying to keep the sham going as long as possible. Put the sign up: done/kaput/sold (good luck on the last one).
The Oh La Lace could be called 2 in 1 as they look like thigh high socks on top of tights or they could be called waders that are worn on top of pants so you don't get them wet wading in the water. I agree with Anon 9:11pm that I wouldn't want to be wearing the Oh La Lace if I was going to be doing any sweating.
I encourage them to continue with these horrid creations... my bank account has never been safer from lulu! It was just the intervention I needed for my one addiction I just couldn't break. Problem solved!

These are hideous. Someone needs to be fired.
Bottom pair are ok...maybe for bra or shorts...

I like the top print! Anything flowery has potential for me...
Love the blue! I'm so glad I held out and didn't get the marble ones. I hope these actually show up!!

I like the top print, but hard to tell, everything tends to look bad on the floating displays- I wish we could see this on a body.
Yah I got marbled blue energy bra and think I may exchange for this pattern instead....decisions decisions

Yawn on both. Dark seams down my crotch and butt crack are always a no, no matter what design or color it is

the top pair look like youve stepped, thigh deep, into a pond....

hate the top print. definite pantyhose print. I prefer the Shibui print I have not seen uploaded or in the stores yet.
oops...make that Shibori not Shibui!
