I got my Sun Seeker LS Friday but haven't had a chance to post the photos until now. Shocking Blue is more teal than it appears on the website or in my photos and is a very pretty blue. The Sun Seeker is a very basic long sleeve UPF top, similar to the Runbeam LS. I am a fan of the UPF tops since they're a perfect weight for "winter" running in my climate. I've been waiting for a nice basic long sleeve UPF top in a pretty opaque solid color to come along again and the Sun Seeker fits the bill nicely.
The only decorative element is a scalloped edge along the mesh insert panel that runs from armpit to hem. The mesh is rather see through. I could definitely see my bra and the top of my pants through the mesh.
Fabric content.
The thumbhole has a cover instead of a basic slit.
The Sun Seeker is wider than both the Runbeam LS and Runbeam Hoodie. Both Runbeam tops are slightly longer than the Sun Seeker but the sleeves are the same length. I would say you might be able to size down for a more fitted look but I think you might run into trouble with the fit through the shoulders. If you look at how it fits the model on the website, it is very fitted through her shoulders and loose at the waist and hip, which means it won't ride up during running.
Shocking Blue Sun Seeker next to the new Jet Set Blue Define.
I tried to compare the blues. Shown here, from left to right are: Kayak Blue, Shocking Blue, Pipe Dream Blue, and Peacock Blue along the bottom.
If you are in the market for a basic long sleeve UPF top definitely check out the Sun Seeker.

I wish they would bring back the Runbeam l/s and Hoodie. I like the scalloped edging on the Sun Seeker but I prefer the placement of the mesh on the Runbeam Hoodie much more. I also prefer the longer length of the Runbeam as I am not a fan of shorter wider styles. I actually wouldn't mind the extra width on the Runbeamas as it would look better with the longer length. BTW your Sunbeam l/s is such a gorgeous purple and the I like how the front hem is curved and a little longer. I would, however, buy the Sun Seeker s/s in the Beach Blanket Blue if it comes to Canada.
I want the Runbeam Hoodie too! that was a really nice piece.
I don't like boxy shaped tops. Agree with anon 6:40, not a fan of wider styles, especially shorter wider styles. Also really hate that cheap looking see through mesh. Why not use circle mesh instead!? or that floral/lace stretchy mesh fabric that they used for some of their Rulu tops in the past!? I'm guessing it's because these ones are more expensive to use than that cheap trashy looking see through crap. And not loving that that all this ugly mesh is placed as a huge swath of it down the entire sides of the top (probably time saving and cost cutting measure as it's easier to piece and sew together and the more cheap mesh fabric they can get away with using on an item the cheaper the overall cost to make it). I guess it also takes a lot more talent to design a top with a discreet amount of well placed mesh that is designed into the style in a flattering way than it does to just place a huge swath of it down the entire sides of the top.
This top has no shape. There is a ton of extra fabric at the waist area compared to the other tops in the photos above. I prefer tops that are shaped for and flattering to a woman's body. This is why I loved Lululemon, their clothes were designed to fit a woman's body perfectly and flatter it. I fear they are heading away from that now... they are turning into just another brand... nothing special.... the overall look is more generic and looks just like any other brand plus it seems they are designed to fit more like the other brands now too... so, so sad... :(
I have the same Runbeam hoodie as you, LLA, and it is one of my fave tops for swimming and just being in the sun. I spend a lot of time in Florida, and I wish Canada got the Sun Seeker ls - would buy it in an instant, in any season. The scalloped design reminds me of old time Lulu...sooo pretty...so rare these days...sigh.
agree...not a fan of shower, wider styles. prefer a more flattering silhouette.
