I'm not sure what the new UnitedSTATE "collection" that was uploaded late last night is all about. Though the website touts four artists the offered tops are pretty blah and not at all artistic. I would love if they came out with some unique graphics, like they did for the Singapore and Robson store openings. Maybe this shirt is the initial offering and subsequent ones will have special graphics? Here's hoping that is the plan.

Based on the videos, I think this is just the initial intro...
@ BIA -
But what a BORING into :P They should have released another part of the collection with it. Or all of it at once.
I want that Singapore CRB! :{
@ anon 9:28 am - you'll have to hunt for it on the various FB boards or eBay. People had to get them angeled from Singapore so they're very rare.
Hi LuluAddict, thanks for telling me how to get it (Anon 9:28 am) but I don't think I'm going to hunt one down as I'm not a part of any FaceBook groups. So cute though D: I will just admire.
It seems to me, when you have 4 artists collaborating on something, that you would throw out for the first "punch" an amazing design to keep people clamoring for more. Not something this plain and boring thereby turning people off and losing interest from the get go. Seems like their marketing dept has never had an Econ 101 college class.
I don't get the United State thing. Lame
Not interested in these items.
They have used an incorrect word in the banner photo. Under Your United State: "Stand united in the BELIEVED that...," surely they mean "belief."
It is not really a mystery. Word and phrases shirts are so popular that LLL can throw words on it and charge $80 and voila. Some sucker is gonna buy it.
If there is a print from Jeremy Penn, I'm buying! I was checking out some of the other artists too, Heather Day does some really nice work. I'm not fond of Allison Kuntath's stuff but she does have a really unique style. Brian Wooden has some great pieces too. I can see something from his Defining Disorder series on a side panel of a pair of crops.
I would have really loved to have seen Lora Zombie included in this group, her work is amazing and so colorful. I'm really excited to see what comes from this.
So I found out today this is it. A shirt with words. What a missed opportunity!
