Do the white CRB stay white after several washings or do they tend to lose their brightness over time like cotton can?
Hi - I just saw the Pace Tights Lights Out on the Lulu website - is that price tag of $298 for real??? Has anyone tried them? Thanks.
Luluaddict, I know you recently did a comparison of the Salute the Sun vs. Hotwave tank - is the Hotwave tank in fact silverscent? I thought it was, but the new website doesn't specifically say that. Thanks!
Haven't check the site but unfortunately that doesn't sound out of line with what LLL has charged for reflective gear in the past.
Ugh, those Spring Breakaway shorts looks so cute, but they were so sheer when I tried them on with nude seamless underwear. Bummer.
Twisted Vanilla, they really are $298! they are left over from Thanksgiving. I got them in my store for $100 as a return. They are nice, but not worth $298! I like them, but they are a bit overwhelming with the amount of reflective they have. I have only worn them a handful of times because they just seem too reflective, and i don't run outside after dark that much. We live in bear and Mountain lion country... I don't want to tempt my fate!!! No way in *heck* would I ever think they would be worth $298. I think they are worth $100 though.
@ anon 12:55 pm - The tear out tag does say the fabric content has X-static nylon in it so I guess it is.
@Twisted Vanilla I love the Lights Out collection since I run in the early morning and at night a lot. The Pace Tights are full-on Luxtreme and feel fantastic on. The Speed tights are awesome too. I'm actually on a hunt for the top as well. I agree though, not worth the online price for sure!
@ anon 3:28 pm. Thank you! Sometimes I wonder if they just put a random price on items just to see if there are people out there who would pay such crazy prices :-)
Hotwave tank is silverescent, i bought one today and tag confirms. I'm so glad I didn't buy the Salute the Sun tank, this one is much better - no slit that won't lay flat.
Anon @ 9:22, I think it has more to do with your detergent and whether you separate whites and colors/darks, but I think a white CRB should last at least a year. I have a white power Y that I've had for 3 years and is looking a bit tired, but I think you ought to expect more like 20-30 washings' worth of wear before it gets to that point. And mine is still very wearable, it's just not quite as crisp a white as it originally was.

Synthetics tend to get dingy quicker than all cotton, even when bleaching. I agree with 12:01 AM. I typically replace white CRB's/Power Y's each year due to dingy appearance. But I do that with cotton items as well.
