I really have no use for the Run All Day Backpack but this Pretty Lace one is so pretty it's really calling to me. Also shown is the Jungle Swiftly SS and Mesh Speed Shorts.

The dorky Free Spirit bag. It's not technical enough not to look like a fanny pack.

A fanny pack is still a fanny pack, even with a lululemon symbol on it. :P

is that CRB rosewood?

... but it may actually be a fanny pack I could wear to the dog park...

I don't like fanny packs either, and hate that the Festival bag turns into one, but this one is definitely useful for dog walks (keys, phone, perhaps some dog treat, etc), especially in summer when wearing clothing without any pockets. I like that it's a minimal slim, flat shape. ...and I really couldn't care less if it has a Lulu symbol on it or not... I'm definitely not one of those people who care about that kind of thing... I don't buy things for the label or what brand they are...

I love the Pretty Lace Black and White Run All Day Backpack too, and am going to order it right after I'm finished here! I've been wanting one of these for day hikes.

I've seen people wear the lulu fanny packs as cross body bags with the bag on the back and they don't look too bad, but when worn around the waist I always think they look a bit silly. These ones remind me of those money/passport bags that tourists used to wear in the 80's.

@Anon 4:01: I think the crb is probably boom juice.

Call me crazy but I love the fanny pack. Perfect for bike riding with kids to the park. I could see myself wearing at a splash pad or outdoor event with kids.....

I have a previous version of the "fanny pack" from a few years ago and get tons of use out of it when on long walks -- but I turn it around on my hips so the pack sits in the middle of my lower back. I love being able to stash my keys, cards/money, glasses, phone, etc. in there and free up my pockets and hands. My current bag is turquoise (it was the only color available at the time -- on markdown), so I'm definitely going to pick up this new black version, which will be much more versatile!

The fanny packs were selling out in the Northbrook Illinois store before the upload yesterday. I purchased one so I could think about it. It's got a lot of compartments, a light interior which I love. I'm going to keep it! The printed ones weren't as popular but the prints were pretty.

That Fanny Pack looks like a Pencil Case :( Not a fan!

What pants is the model wearing who has the fanny pack on?

I'm totally feeling the fanny pack. I would wear it in the back though. It's cuter than the Lesportsac one I have. Not sure about the price on it though...seems steep for what it is...

Did you see the new website?? I was looking at some speeds earlier today, came back about and hour ago to order AND it's totally redesigned!!! Can't decide if I love it or find it annoying!

@lulubell - it looks the same for me.

@lulubell - I just saw some screenshots - this seals the deal, we're definitely back in 2008! Check out my first posts from 2008. You'll see the invisible mannequin-type display of clothes they used to use before they had an e-commerce site.

Yeah I am totally digging the lace print fanny pack. I would sling it over my back or wear around waist behind my back. Might get it.

LOL! That's crazy!!! We are in a time warp!

I'm not seeing the new website either... so curious now... can't wait to see it!

I went ahead and ordered the Pretty Lace Black and White Run All Day Backpack. Super excited about it since I've been wanting one for a while now, when I saw this pretty print I knew I had to have it and now is the time to pull the trigger! Can't wait to get it and looking forward to using it for some fun day hikes this summer.

Still bummed that the new solid White TaTa Tamers didn't come in E cups sizes for Canada. I've been wanting a couple of plain white ones for ages to wear under my white and lighter coloured CRBs and my white Swiftly tops.

I really hope the Essentials Bag and that new yoga mat tote bag (forget the name) will come in the Pretty Lace Black/White print! Fingers are crossed now!

@ anon 10:40 pm - I ordered it, too! I couldn't resist. I may only "own" for a few hours but I wanted to have it. I need to think of a reason to justify it, too.

Oh good! Glad you got one too LuluAddict! Hope you find a reason to justify keeping it, it's such a pretty one. It would even work out as a gym bag if you don't have too much stuff that you need to take with you.

I don't see the new site either. will keep checking

I checked out the fanny pack yesterday in store because I love small Lulu bags, and it's great EXCEPT that it has the same weird adjustable strap that all of their small bags have had lately, with the floppy end that tucks into a sort of belt loop. And I hate that strap. It's needlessly fussy, looks odd, and the buckle itself has some sharp edges that I could do without. If it weren't for the strap I would have bought it to wear cross-body as a small purse.
