New What We Love

lululemon what-we-love-banner

A new collection, called Free Spirit, is coming. It all is an easy pass for me.

I'd like this if it was longer.

I'm curious to see Fireside red person. I'd take a CRB in it.

New print revealed - this tank exposes way too much of the back for my comfort zone.

I love that Bali Breeze lace print. I'd buy a CRB or Power Y in it. But not interested in anything here. Breathing a sigh of relief after I bought everything last Tuesday!!

Twist and toil, that makes me laugh a little.

Oh yuck. Not a fan of most clothing items that are longer in the front than the back, especially not in shorts...

Has anyone received their white WUC from the latest upload? I see they are restocked in some sizes on the website. So I just ordered a pair to try them out because they have been on my mind all these days. Does anyone think they might look like grandma's tablecloth?

hmm boring...

Easy pass on all of this for me, but I do like the looks of that print! Hope it comes in more.

Unrelated - has anyone seen the Foil Manifesto White Wunder Under Crops in store in the US? Also, any reports of sheerness (or hopefully not?!)

It looks like these new items will give my wallet a well-deserved rest.

This is where LLL drops the ball! It looks like they are running out of fresh ideas and then they come out with a mess that looks like this! A pass for me, too!

Wahoo, looks a boring one which is good for my bank account.

Blargh. Why put out a collection if the items look like the stuff you'd be selling anyway? Just an excuse for them to mark everything up. I hate Nantucket red so fireside red is a non-starter for me. I'm tired of unsaturated and heathered colors. Is the bra attached on that last tank? The tank itself looks really cheap, and I'm not loving this trend toward bras with attached tops.

Ha! Keep trying LLL. You'll get there, or go under trying. Thank goodness for their tried and true staples.

i kinda like that first tank. i'm on the shorter side so it might still cover everything in the back and i like how it's a higher neckline in the front. will have to try it on when it's in the stores

@Uknown - I heard the white WUPS have been pulled due to sheerness and people's web orders have been cancelled.

I got mine. I COULD SEE MY SKIN COLOR. So annoyed and they are being returned ASAP.

I like the look of Fireside Red in the photo of the shorts (I do not like the shorts at all though!), but I'm always drawn to these kinds of coral shades anyway...

Nothing of interest in this WWL pickings. The Fireside red looks faded to me like it's already been washed 50 times so I don't know if this will make the fans waiting for a true red happy.

OK I have to say it, the Twist & Toil Tank is appropriately named since that is exactly what you will have to do to get this baby on and off especially after a sweaty workout! No need to leave your closet to get a cardio workout. I am so bored with this same old same old look for tanks with built-in bras. Party in the back and sooooo boring in the front. I can't wait until this phase is over and they start paying attention again to the front and putting out a more evenly balanced designed tank with built-in bras.

Maybe there are two versions of the white WUC? The girl in my local store had them on yesterday. She has dark skin and they weren't see through at all. She looked amazing in them. I'm a mess with white so they are a no-go for me. I picked up the WUPs in wave twist lilac caspian blue I've been mooning over before they're gone forever.

Easy pass on all of this.

This is what I don't get. That Twist and Toil top - My bootcamp classes have us on our backs for ab-work fairly often during the hour - that twist seems like it would hurt. Does NO ONE at lulu actually take these types of classes? Seriously?

That first tank is awful. Didn't they do some weird singlet a couple years back - Split Singlet or something - looked like that - short in front, long in back...looked horrible, fit terrible.

Unfortunately @ Anon 2:49 they keep discontinuing many of their tried and true staples...so there's less and less for me to actually buy.

I like the write top a lot and I'm also rather short so will see if it works for me.
I also ordered write WUC and they were shipped

@ anon 6:55am - I was wondering that, too - if there is a good batch and a bad batch.

Anonymous said...

Why would there be good batches and bad batches? I'm not saying there aren't, but just kind of don't get why there wouldn't be more consistency when the prices are what they are. Why should some of us be paying for and getting stuff from bad batches and some from good batches... hmm... really getting tired of Lulu... it shouldn't have to be this hard to shop (inconsistent sizes and quality are getting annoying).

I just received my white (foil?) WUCs and put them on right away. They were sold out in my usual size 6 so I ordered the 8 and thank goodness I did. They run a size small compared to my other crops. I had on black underwear and they could be seen clearly - pretty sheer. But, I'm on the fence about returning them because I want to wear them out and about and will have on a long top. I like the neutral (non black) color.

Agreed 2:46, don't get the good batch/bad batch thing. Perhaps it occurs but I think it is bit of malarkey. Charging people a $100 or more for pants, get it right. That said, any white pant is always going to be a challenge.

The WWL, big bowl of boring. Fireside red, really? They come out with a "red" and this is it. Come on. Where is a nice red, a deep red, a ruby red or a blue red, a non-orange red!

The only thing that is nice is the bali breeze Alberta Lake combo. I won't buy that tank. Looks pretty but impractical in more than one way if really used to work out. Even in yoga.

Tried on the White Nimbus WU Crop yesterday.
Usually wear a size 2 and went up to a 6!!!! There is no stretch!!!
They are beautiful from the front but totally see thru in the butt!!
The sales girls told me to get them off ASAP!!!!

Anonymous said...

The good batch/bad batch thing has happened many times before. In past years, especially during the see-thru pants debacle two years ago, you had to head to the store to cherry pick them. It happens. Different bolts of the same fabric with different thicknesses, some pants sewn tighter/smaller than others, etc. There are many ways to be inconsistent. Lulu just needs to figure it out BEFORE they sell them to customers!!

They are beautiful!

I ordered the white crops in my tts online and tried my size up in store. None were sheer! Tts is super snug and i can't see my skin or my nude undies at all!
