Wow! Welcome in 2016, Lululemon. I have been shopping on line for years from retailers who send me a prepaid return label and an envelope with every purchase.
I live in Illinois and I will most likely still be paying for my own label- it takes two weeks for my returns to get back to sumner warehouse using the Fedex return labels.
Athleta still has far and away the best return policy, but this is a move in the right direction.
Totally unrelated question, does anyone have any insight as to whether patterned luxtreme runs a bit larger than solid colors? I am about to buy the black pace rival, but am unsure on size since my patterned ones (naval twist/ peacock) feel a little big. Wondering if I should stay tts or size down on the black? Is it normal for luxtreme to run bigger than luon? Help, I am a luxtreme newbie!
Yes, they are very late to this type of service. Now they need to improve the turnaround time on processing these types of refunds, which I read here can take forever.
Returns to Athleta are still more painless, but every little bit helps, Lulu!! I have returned things to Athleta that I didn't have the tags to, because I wore them and discovered a problem or fit issue, and they take it back so quickly and no questions asked that I feel almost guilty returning anything! Lulu still has a way to go, but yay to them for taking this first step!
I'm with you, Anon 9:56. I've been shopping online at some stores for 10 years that have ALWAYS offered free shipping and returns, many with a prepaid label and envelope. Maybe LLL realized they're not moving product because people are tired of "renting" new items to try. It has definitely been a factor in why I've been purchasing less, and not only did LLL charge for returns, I frequently waited 4-6 weeks for returns to even be processed, which is unacceptable, particularly when you have to pay to return something.
I have the solid black and they feel a little big. Planning to size down next time. For reference I'm usually bye a 6 and an 8 but def could not get into a six in inspires. (Got the 8 in pace rivals will get a 6 next time)
If anything, luxtreme runs smaller than Luon. My patterned luxtreme tends to run a little bit smaller than solid lux but not enough for me to go up or down a size. If your twist pace rivals feel big I would go down a size in black.
unacceptable online return policy, period. It takes A MONTH to process a return and either get your gift card or credit back to your card. Simply ridiculous. Big deal that they are offering free returns, they need to speed up the d*** process!! This company is pathetic.
I am fortunate to live close to many LLL stores so this does not affect me but for on-line shoppers free return is long overdue especially since sizing in many of the products has become so inconsistent that someone ordering their tts are having to return because their tts is no longer their tts!!! Lululemon should be giving all on-line shoppers a $50.00 gift certificate to say they are sorry for not introducing this earlier.
I had to return something to Athleta yesterday and the saleswoman nicely asked me "Was there anything wrong with the crops?" in an 'I'll pass on any complaints' sort of way, and out of habit I launched into all the reasons I'm returning an item from last season without tags that I'd bought *on sale* and she was looking at me like I was crazy. I almost never return there so I had completely forgotten how relaxed they were about it. At lulu I would have had to spent 10 minutes convincing the employee that my reasoning was valid, and even then it'd be up to the discretion of whoever I spoke to that day.
I still rarely purchase online from Lululemon. And I'd spend a lot more if their 14 day window return policy was more like 30 like most other companies! I returned a swimsuit from Athleta that I bought 2 years ago that was only worn twice and it completely stretched out on the 2nd wash.. All I had to say was that it stretched out. No questions asked after that. They had my purchase record and I got $78 refunded. What an awesome company. And I rarely return anything!
I'm in UK and we have always had free returns, I guess because we only have a couple of stores here. However it still takes forever to see the credit show up, so long that you inevitably end up calling them to check up on it....I can't be the only one, surely they'd want to do away with those calls. Also, why do I have to print my own label and returns form, my printer was broken and I had to hurry to buy a new one just so I could get my return off, other companies just have a section on the original shipping form to fill in for returns and supply a sticky label. Also, when will LLL sort out the UK website which at times displays prices in $ ( well, puts up a $ sign instead of the £, I should hold them to it ).
This is so great! I used to have to drive an hour to my nearest store or pay the $5 shipping, if something didn't fit right, I usually opted to drive so at least I could try on other items while I was there. This will definitely make me more inclined to order things!
It's about time. I usually return my stuff to a store near by. I do live in NYC so we have many lulu stores. I wish I liked Athleta, I walk by the shop on 5th ave all the time and never find interest in walking in.

Things are looking up, hope soon they will accept sale item returns :0

Finally fee returns, what took them so long?
Love it!!!!

They're only about 5 years behind on this!!!

So nice that they have finally done this. I mostly buy online so this is great news.

i love you lululemon, but you still have one of the worst return policies

The lag time in returns totally sucks! I'd pay the five dollars if they would speed that up.

I would assume that it has to be postmarked within the 14 day return period, not received.

You just have to go online and get your return label within 14 days. It doesn't have to be postmarked within 14 days.
