What We Love

lululemon get-down-bra

The new bra - the Get Down Bra - is revealed. As I suspected, it's for bustier C/D ladies. I'm looking forward to trying it but I like the strap configuration of the Strap It Like It's Hot better. This looks a little lower cut in the front than the Strap It Like It's Hot, too.

New print coming - Static Blossom Multi. I hope there is a solid Pink Paradise CRB coming. I am not a huge an of print CRBs, though this one looks decent.

Not necessarily related to this post—but maybe helpful info if you’ve seen any other reviews on these tanks: I tried on the “Real Quick Singlet” last night in-store and they run SMALL! Definitely not overly “loose” fitting per the description, even when I sized up. I also tried on the “Stride to Tide Tank” and thought it fit comfortably loose TTS, similar to the Water Bound tank.

Thanks! My store didn't have either of those to try on today. My Stride to Tide comes later today.

Maybe the CRB, not sure if I like it enough though. Looks like there will be other new CRBs released, hoping for some gems. That's it though, still not too exciting.

It's nice that they are still trying to make better versions of a flattering looking bra for more well endowed women and hopefully it is comfortable.

I definitely will want to get the heathered regal plum ls swiftly.

The CRB looks OK but probably white backed and less breathable and therefore not that appealing to me.

every upload there is something always hideous like that RESTORE WRAP...
this week was that horrible onesie. WTF is going on??? I'd fire 50% of the "designers"

Loving that wrap hoping for some new colours ! Kaitlyn said there was 2 other colours better not be black and Bordeaux lol

Agree with anonymous... I tried on both and MUCH preferred the stride to tide. It was nice!

How does what we love work? are these items supposed to be in stores already?

The new bra doesn't look like it would work for me (I'm a DD/E cup). I like the back straps, but the way it's cut off low and then added mesh ruins it for me (I don't want anything showing at the top through the mesh, I like to be completely covered), also really dislike that it's cut so straight across between the regular fabric and the mesh (cuts straight right across the boobs). If the front was completely solid fabric it might have a better chance at working out, but I also suspect I'd still have to size up to fit my boobs and the band would be too big (I have very small underbust measurement). We need more bras (and tanks) to fit larger boobs and smaller underbusts.

The model wearing the new bra looks to be on the smaller busted side and is actually showing quite a bit of cleavage - can't imagine larger busts in this without having a lot showing.

Oh boy. I'm in trouble next week. I like that CRB, I like that wrap, and that swiftly is a must have for me. Especially if I pick up the Kara blossom wuc's that were uploaded to Canada last week. (Going to try them on in store this Sunday but I think they are already a buy for me.) "must think budget, must think budget"

Does stride to tide have a finished hem on bottom? It will roll if it doesn't. Waiting for mine to arrive next week

Regal Plum is not saying spring to me...

yeah another wrap....blah
How much do you want to bet it also comes in Bordeaux Drama?

@Jessica - My Stride to Tide came today. The shape is very cute. It's not hemmed at the bottom and at the bottom of the keyhole in back. It kind of pisses me off that lululemon does this.

@ anon 5:09 pm - What We Love is a preview of what is arriving in stores next week.

@ anon 5:25 pm - Totally agree. The Strap It Like It's Hot looks super high in the front on the website models but on me I still have a decent amount of cleavage in it. I really wish they would get a D model to model the bras.

@ anon 6:36 pm - It does not. The bottom of the keyhole in the back is not finished either. It really ticks me off that lulu cheaps out like this on hemming.

@Lisa B - agree.

@ anon 7:41 pm - I'd say odds are 100%. :)

LLA, are you able to do a comparison of Swiftlies in Heathered Dashing Purple versus Heathered Regal Plum? They seem extremely close. From the pictures I've seen, Heathered Regal Plum is a little more purple, while Heathered Dashing Purple seems to have more reddish undertones, but it's hard to tell.

This was actually the most promising WWL for me in months. I don't think I'll buy anything because I have items that are too similar to some of those shown, but these seemed like decent designs overall. Some weeks I'm thinking that WWL is designed to push ugly clothes that otherwise would sell extremely badly. This week I'm not as cynical. :)

I'd actually like to see models with C/D cups show the bras meant for that. I'm tired of seeing A cup models in the bras meant for C/D. The bra doesn't fit well. It's annoying to me.

The front of the wrap is quite hideous. A lot of the wraps just look like bathrobes to me and they're pretty much always hideous looking from the front.

agree with everyone on the larger bra sizes. the ta ta tamer that they push for larger bra sizes just doesn't work for me. I love the strap it like its hot bra and wanted the tank which I'm now calling my lulu unicorn as it's been impossible to find in my size. I liked the oxygen bra for lower impact workouts, but it sold out quickly in my size as well. I bought a size down which is great for under the bust, but gives me a tiny bit more boobage than I'd like so not sure I'll keep it. Chantelle makes great sports bras so I try to add those in my size when I can find them.

I really like the back of the Restore Wrap but the front looks identical to That's A Wrap which I bought in bordeaux and I love it. I would assume that this one wouldn't be lined though as it is a spring release? If it comes out in deep zinfandel it's going to be hard to resist. I don't mind the Static Blossom Multi print in the CRB, if the background is deep navy, which it looks to be, it would look nice with my deep navy run times. The reason I don't mind a printed CRB is the print helps to hide what the tightness of the tank squeezes! It is a rather dark print for spring.

The Heathered Regal Plum Swiftly looks very similar to my Swiftly s/s Heathered (black) tender violet. I probably would have bought this l/s a few months ago but not now.

It sounds like we are going to get more product in zinfandel which surprises me as it doesn't seem like a spring colour but I am thrilled it's back, no matter what the season. It has to be my all time favourite LLL colour. What I wouldn't do for a Hustle Jacket in that colour.

It seems to me that Regal Plum is becoming more of a "staple" color now, like Bordeaux is. It keep reappearing season after season, as solid colored items, and prints with RP in them. I think the color is beautiful though, so I'm not complaining one bit :)

what are those looser stripe pants she is wearing?

Anonymous said...

yes,i agree that new wrap looks exactly like "that's a wrap" in the front, which i have. so tired of seeing the same styles. wish there was something new and exciting instead of the same designs. missing all the ruffles, lace, and cute details of lululemon in the past

Nothing appeals at all.

My Restore Wrap came and I'm on the fence. I LOVE Lululemon wraps - recently I have purchased 2 of the That's a Wrap (black, grey) and one Coast Wrap. The Restore is kind of a marriage of those two. The snap and metal button closure of the Restore is better than the crappy buttons of the Coast (though I really prefer 2 snaps) & the length is like the longer That's a Wrap. The back is really cute with the pleating. But I'm not sure on the front as it seems boring and not as cute at the scoop on the That's a wrap.
