LLA - They haven't uploaded in any Strap it like it's hot bras in several weeks. None left in my size on-line and need a few more for runs. They aren't discontinuing are they? Love that bra!
It was probably a seasonal item but I'm hoping since it did so well they will bring it back. There are still some in stores. You should call around to stores and they will ship to you. The GEC might be able to tell you who has what size, or they used to, not sure if they still do that for people.
They do. They aren't always accurate but at least it's a start.
I grabbed a Black LS Swiftly! <3 They had new bags in the store too, apparently they are for the guys but I had to have one! They are black and really cool looking.
Those Tight Stuffs look like the ones I grabbed in a US store a few weeks ago. They were a return. So happy to have the black swiftly! I love it.
Nothing for me either. Looking for more spring items/colours but don't see anything here. I do like the Rio Mist print on the shorts but I don't really wear shorts.
Got the black LS Swiftly. Yeeesssss!
I picked up the ss black swiftly. the educator said they had already restocked the ls and ss a couple of times today. it's not true black, but darker than heathered black. not sure it's a keeper. I'm going to try it on with a few bottoms to see if I love it.
In the If You're Lucky long sleeve since it is loose, is it best to size down or stay with the same size? In the Love II Tee, and Yogini 5 year long sleeve, I wear a size 4 but the circadian, I wear a size 6. Most jackets, size 6; most tanks size 6. Thank you for your answer.
I picked up the black long sleeve Swiftly in the store. They are selling like crazy and they had to get my size from the back. It's thicker than I would have thought but it's a truly dark black and I love it. My store didn't have the blue Pace Rivals yet. Like you LLA, I really wish they didn't have that hideous pattern. I want to try them in person and will probably buy them.
I'm hoping we'll get the true Black Swiftly tops in Canada eventually. I'll be patient for now.
So far I haven't pulled the trigger on anything, but have my eyes on the Cyber Stripe Jungle Define (not sure if the stripes line up along the zipper in front on all of them or not - I have the Space Dye Twist Regal Plum one from fall and had the chance to see them in store first and in my size one didn't line up and one did, it really makes a difference to how the jacket looks when on, the wonky stripes didn't look good). I'd really love a solid Jungle Define most of all though! ...and a solid Jungle CRB too!
Has anyone seen or tried the Time to Shine Skirt? It was in this upload. I like that it has the holster pocket on the shorts underneath, but wasn't sure about the length or all the tiny pleats... Any run skirt advice would be welcome! Thanks!
LLA, they still do that! I've called GEC looking for stuff a few times and they give me phone numbers of stores that have the item. And I second you on that print in the new pace rivals. I had such a hard time pairing it with something in the speed crops that came out last week. Also, I want the blue tropics swiftly. Wish I lived in Canada! :)
Expensive day for me! I got the Sage Scarf in the battleship gray stripe, the black swiftly long sleeve, the white if you're lucky, and the heathered seal gray/battleship FTBW. I'm a sucker for neutrals lately I guess!
Does anyone know how the if your lucky runs? I am not sure which of my sizes to order in this to try. Agree about the print on pace rivals....not my first choice but I really like hero blue so ordered them to see in person anyway.
Big disappointment Canada didn't get the Black Swiftlies so I saved some money there. I did buy the Real Quick Crops in deep zinfandel.
I grabbed the rio nights speeds to check out. :)
What is the tank with the heathered pace rivals?
Looks like some kind of halter/bra combo?
Broke my lulu drought and bought the black swiftly in short sleeve at my local store today. true to size, soft, and same cut as previous swiftlies. Love!
I just ordered the black longsleeve swiftly. I have been waiting for something like this! Haven't been loving their color schemes lately but a good basic black is something I will use for years!
I ordered a black SS swiftly. Also, I love the green color for the flow n go crops, but I would want In the Flows instead. Why did they discontinue In the Flows and replace them with such blah crops with no cute features like ruching at the hem?? While I'm happy that I'm pretty well stocked up on In the Flows, it annoys me when I see new colors and realize it's not even a possibility because I can't stand the flow n go. Anyway, I actually have real problems, so this won't bug me for too long....
I bought the skirt today at my local store without trying it on. Brought home and discovered there aren't any grippy things in the liner to keep the shorts in place! The skirt is very cute on and fit very similar to the pacesetter skirt in regards to length and look from the front. The pleats seem a little smaller than the pleat to street skirt. When walking around the house though the shorts crept up and I know it would be worse during running and lifting. So disappointed because this skirt had great potential. It's going back.
So many comments.....
Yay for Rio Speeds. Only purchase today.
What's with the models pulling the shirt down on one side. Looks stupid. "oh, here, let me pull this shirt and stretch all out on one side - that will look great". No.
The Radiant stripe speeds look really, really bad. Talk about flarey and ill fitting. Doesn't really matter as I don't like the print and won't be buying anyway.
The silver spoon looks like a white top that got dingy in dirty wash water. Again...no.
Want the blue tropics swiftly. Hope it comes to the U.S.!
Pretty purple - meh...haven't we seen this color before?
Where are the solid, not patterned colored swiftly's or CRB's to match all this new patterns in wuc/run bottoms???
Nothing for me tonight. Am crying here in Canada, no black swiftly's!!! (okay, not really but I will be watching and waiting.....)
@Anon 4:31 - I bought the If You're Lucky last year and sized down (I'm usually between an 8 and 10 and went with the 8). I thought it fit great sizing down.
What does is say about a company when all the excitement is over a plain black tee?
Either the product managers are a bunch of dumb arses or freaking geniuses.
The last swiftly long sleeve I had was many years ago and I didn't like that I couldn't budge the tight sleeves at the forearm and cuff at all. Does anyone know whether this has changed in the recent years? I love basic black!!
Only the dark green spring away shorts for me today. They are already sold out in my size, so I'm glad I pounced on them when they were uploaded. I've been waiting for new solid colors. Printed ones aren't usually very flattering on me.
Otherwise nothing for me. I did notice a new color in the men's section called rosewood. So gorgeous! Hope they'll have that one for us ladies at some point.
I ordered the rio nights multi/black speed shorts. Nothing else for me. Wish lulu would come out with Lilac CRB and Power Y. It's a pretty color...better in tops than bottoms for me.
ann@4:26pm The Time to Shine skirt looks like to has a pulling issue in the photo. That would be a deal breaker for me.
IMHO, the Time to Shine skirt looks like it has too many things going on with the pleated/non-plted fabric and the back waist. Trying too hard. Keep it simple.
Does anyone know which shirt is in the grey sage scarf picture? I looked but can't find it on their site. Thanks.
Does anyone know what changes have been made to the new version of the If You're Lucky long sleeve. It is such a pain when they don't change a word in the description but then call it a second version. Thanks!
Nothing for me. They've really killed a lot of options for me by no longer using 2 way stretch on skirts and shorts. I really don't like the feeling of the 4 way. Feels like a damp bathing suit to me. Bleah!
The black Swiftly is definitely cool, but I don't think I'd actually wear it that much. I tend to reach for light colored Swiftlies to go with black pants.
My problem with the black swiftly, like that of all the recent dark swiftlys that have been mixed with black thread, is that they are part polyester and have the same lack of stretch that those other colors have. I'll wait to try it in the store.
Wasn't planning on stopping by the store, but out running an errand and peaked in to see the new pieces. Didn't even know they were getting the black swiftly, but I had to get it and bought the long sleeve. Super soft, and I like that the cuffs are not as tight as some of my old ones, so when I went on my run this evening I could push it up more easily on my arm as I started to get warm. @LuluAddict it is nice and stretchy, you are going to love it!
I just don't wear Swiftlies because all they do is ride up. I'm not a statue. Nor am I particularly curvy. And if there's lack of stretch in the material due to the poly content like LLA states above, it's seriously an easy pass for me. All the gorgeous colors that exist and I just don't get the hype. Every one I've ever bought went back or got sold if I gave it a genuine shot. And resale sucks on Swiftlies.
Thanks for the info!! I also read reviews on the Pleat to Street saying the pleats washed out after several washes and was worried this would be the same.
@Lynn - thanks! Maybe I will try the SS one then.
Haven't ordered anything from Lulu in a while and just ordered the black LS Swiftly! So excited to get it :)
@March 22, 2016 at 4:17 PM
for the If You're Lucky I definitely sized down, I bought my TTS first and it was like a baggy jersey on me and was the opposite of flattering. I returned it and sized down and its perfect. still enough room to give the tiny big loose fit, but the front looks like a normal shirt on me and it fits perfect around the waist and the back is so sexy. =)
@anon 6:27 PM - I feel like laughing and crying at the same time! we are all so excited about a plain black piece of clothing..... sigh.
Hmm, that Time to Shine skirt does look interesting - I have the original Pleat to Street and have not had any issues with it (pleats washing out, etc.). However, the last thing I really need is another run skirt. Maybe if I get to a store I'll try one out...
I caved and ordered the jungle/hero define... I'm a sucker for a pretty green! Just crossing my fingers the stripes line up.
I agree with Kaila and others on the size down recommendation for the If You're Lucky LS - I had originally ordered my TTS 6 online, but I was in store today and ended up buying the 4 (will return the 6 once it arrives). The white is SO light and pretty - any color you wear underneath will peek out in a super cute sheer way. LOVE it.
Black Swiftly is the little black dress of LLL.
I was able to snag the rio speed shorts, black swiftly in LS & SS and the grey pace rivals. Im hoping for some brighter colors next time around!
Omg it's so cute! I've tried on the other skirts and like this one the most. The pleating in the back only makes more sense to me, it makes your butt look more flirty ;). It feels true to size on me
@anon 7:01PM YES! haha
I went ahead and tried this! I just got it in the mail today, and it is really cute. It doesn't have the grippy shorts (not sure why) but I don't think it'll be a problem. I didn't have a problem with it pulling at the sides like the model, but I'm a little bit straight-figured, so it works. I think it's a keeper!
