I love the Rest Less Pullovers, but not with that new print... I don't like the geometric print ones either... I love the 'sweatery' printed ones and really wish the Boom Juice one was in one of those prints instead :(

I really want and need that white Daily Practice Jacket! Fingers are crossed that it's coming to Canada too. Still waiting for the Boom Juice Define to come to Canada - it better or I'm going to be so sad... Also wishing for the Long Sleeve Swiftly in Boom Juice... Love love loving Boom Juice :)

I like the new printed yoga mat bag too :)

Rest Less pullover in boom juice with new pattern, yeah I'm not so sure about that print. It's a little too odd for me. Also, I just got the berry rumble on markdown in the graphic modern print (also have black from last year) and I LOVE that version. Rest Less pullover is one of my all time favourite tops. I was happy to see it come back in the graphic print in a nice red version...but not so much this boom juice patterned one.

Make a Move bra, looks like it has potential and I love the FTB and FTBW bras (am very small busted). Will need to try in store. Doubtful for running but could see using in yoga or an everyday bra.
Train All Day hoodie, I am a sucker for rulu but hoods usually detract for me so this will be a pass or a maybe if it goes to markdown.

I agree with you on the striped Move shorts, seems like they were uploaded to the wrong brand! The stripe is not bad but overall the look is very juvenile and I do not like the light border around the short at all.

It looks like the daily practice jacket gets a 2-way zipper in these new colors ? What do you think LLA
I'd be thrilled because it really needs a 2-way zipper !!!

Minty Pink is officially my new fav pink! I would love to have CRB or Piwer Y, or 5 Mile LS, or (why not?) If you Lucky LS open back top from last year. It's so pretty and doesn't scream "gym"

Train All Day Hoodie looks nice, but what's the price point? If my math is right, it should be in the neighborhood of $98, which is way too much for a top.

Love my white and blue "sweater print" Restless LSs, but no Fallopian Boom for me. Does it seem like they've been a little tone deaf on this stuff lately? So many pants and shorts with blotches of blood red on them. Really, no one at Lulu HQ is speaking up in meetings? No one feels brave enough to say, "Y'know, Sally, I know you really love that new print, but maybe we should just use it on tops..."

Train All Day Hoodie, made of light rulu looks super interesting.

I am so glad the l/s assortment is expanding to cover all temperature ranges.

What is going on at LLL putting that print on the Rest Less Pullover? After ruining the Swiftlies with all the horrible recent prints and stripes now they do this to the Rest Less, unbelievable. LLA your description made me laugh and is bang on, I will never be able to look at this print without thinking that...

The more I see the more I miss what LLL used to be.

@ anon 7:54 pm - Agree about the variety of temperature ranges for LS. I am getting a lot of wear out of my lighter LS tops this winter/spring.

@ anon 7:57 pm - I don't know why they don't make more solid items to go with all the prints. I really wish they'd stop putting prints on swiftlys and go back to the simpler Rest Less patterns.

Hi, LLA and everyone!

I recently purchased the Make A Move Bra in black from my local showroom. The back detailing is really pretty. For reference, I am a size 2 for Lululemon Sports Bras. One thing for sure, this is definitely a bra for light to medium activity like a Vinyasa Flow class. I am an A-cup gal. Anyone above a C will find this bra is pretty for an underneath layering to a loose tank, however, it will not support a run, or something along the line of crossfire. Barre perhaps. Other than that, the Make A Move Tank was no-no for me. I find the adjustable waistband not flattering for me. although, I like the colour inkwell very much. I also saw the Daily Practice Jacket in Hero Blue. I WANT IT SO BAD, yet in the showroom, my size 4 is already sold-out. One more purchase I made was the Energy Bra in dandy dig multi/boom juice. So happy with my purchases, both Sports Bras are truly something I really really like. Have a nice day to everyone and take care!

I neeeed that &go wrap! How far behind is the us from hk uploads?!

Rest Less is my all-time favourite top. I was hoping it would come out in more colours, but this pattern just completely ruins it for me.
Once again, LLL destroys a classic.
I have three Rest Less tops and two hoodies that I love and wear all the time. Sadly, as much as I love Boom Juice, I won't be getting fallopian tubes.

LLA, The prints/stripes stopped me from buying Swiftlies even if I really liked the colour. The only Swiftlies I bought in the past 6 months were the heathered black ones. If they are going to do a print I wish they would go back to the print they had about 7+ years ago that was a subtle tone on tone flower print (the lighter tone was solid and the darker tone was a flower print but not an all over print) and it still maintained its stretchiness. I find the printed ones now take away the stretch and softness of the fabric.

I really like the minty pink and would like to see a summer jacket, run times, swiftly scoop neck or even a ball cap in this colour. I would love a tank in this colour but one that I can wear out and about or for a run that doesn't show too much skin or my bra, but the odds of that happening are slim to none and slim left town. I shop Lole' and Running Room for my tanks now.

@ ilovemytoothbrush - that is too bad about the support being minimal.

@ anon 5:40 am - agree 1000% about the lack of softness and stretchiness in the printed Swiftlys.

I had higher hopes for that wrap. Maybe it's nicer in person. Not a huge fan of the &go stuff

Can't unsee the Fallopian boom.

@2:23am we haven't been getting many of the things HK is getting so who knows if we will even get it. The US buyer sucks.

Regarding the Swiftly tops - I actually really like the patterned ones I bought this winter. Of course, I don't like all of the ones available, but, I do love both my Raspberry Glo Fleur and Tender Violet Fleur patterned Long Sleeve Swiftlies, also my Cosmic Teal Granite Short Sleeve - now this one I had to see and try on in person and something about this one just looks really good on me so I kept it and love it :) (I hate the look of the Bon Bon Granite one though, never even bothered ordering that one to try). I also have Berry Rumble Lucy Stripe (pretty sure it's called Lucy Stripe) Long Sleeve Swiftly - the stripe pattern on this one is super flattering on for some reason! I actually find all these particular patterned ones that I have are actually quite elasticy feeling - I like the tighter but stretchy feeling these ones have. I don't really like all the other stripe ones this winter though... and the one I tried on didn't feel as elasticy and stretchy feeling as my others... I tried the Pizzaz Stripe Long Sleeve one but didn't keep it. I agree though, those Black Heathered ones are absolutely gorgeous! Love! I got both the Peacock and the Raspberry Short Sleeve ones, sadly missed all the ones that came out in long sleeve version. Anyway that was longer than I thought, but that's my two cents on the patterned Swiftlies :)

Did anyone else notice the disappearance of the Bordeaux HTs from the website?

I kinda like the fallopian boom. Not the pattern, but the color. I wear my rest less' under a black shirt mostly, so the color will be a nice contrast to my black on black with black outfit. I would NEVER wear it on it's own though! Holy cow! Talk about mixing prints! I just can't do that. Plus once fallopian is seen, it cannot be unseen....

I personally don't care for Swiftlys, I dislike the fabric. Looking at this pattern it reminds me of horoscope symbol for Aries more than anything else. It's kind of odd I agree. nothing horrible though. But I normally don't look at sweat stains as somebody peed their pants or pattern placement as "period". I know it's not period, it doesn't bother me

Anonymous said...

I agree Melanie - I like the patterned Swiftly tops too. I also have horses at home and can wear these around without having to worry because they are thicker and more durable. I hope they keep doing more of the thicker fabric patterned ones, along with the regular ones of course, something for everyone! :)

Lululover - I agree with you about people commenting on sweat marks or patterns that look like pee or period - I've actually never thought that either. If someone is working out and sweating I don't assume they've peed their pants! And if it's a pattern it's hardly going to be period when patterns are normally continued all throughout the garment! I don't like the new pattern on the Boom Juice top but the reason I don't like it isn't because someone says it resembles ovaries - I just don't like the pattern.

I own numerous swiftlies and love the material, all non-striped. I size up so that they are not too snug on me and have the extra length. I still have the first swiftlies I bought over 8 years ago and they look new, have no snags and actually are my favourites out of my entire collection. I love the fabric, doesn't wrinkle, washes and hang dries keeping it's shape. I don't have to handle the fabric with kid gloves, I wear a running belt that hasn't snagged the fabric once. The only patterned ones I own are herringbone racerback which are a much stiffer and tighter fabric which I like because I find the racerbacks can fit too loose.

Out of all the swiftlies I own and I wear them every day for exercise and casual wear, only 1 has a snag, so I think the fabric is quite remarkable. I can't think of any other article of clothing that has been washed as many times as my swiftlies and still look as good as the day I bought them.

As for the Rest Less Pullover new print, it has to be one of the worst patterns I have ever seen in a LLL top.

I've actually changed my mind about the Bon Bon Granite pattern Short Sleeve Swiftly. Since it made it to WMTM page I've been eyeing it more and it's definitely growing on me... I think I'm going to pull the trigger, lol! Also, regarding what I said about not liking the regular stripe pattern Swiftly tops, I remember now that the Pizzaz Stripe Long Sleeve I tried was a size down... so, it probably would have been just fine in my usual Swiftly size... I'm going to give the regular stripe ones another chance. I actually quite like all the new patterns and the new material they've been using for those ones, so hope they keep them coming... just as long as all the new tops aren't striped - it's nice to have some solid ones too.

I completely agree anon Feb 19 at 5:24 AM! Swiftly tops in all styles are my absolute favourite tops ever! Love them all. I own too many to count (guess around 60 at least!!!) and don't have any problems with mine - they all look great even the ones from years ago when I first started buying them.

I seriously want that Wrap like yesterday. Will it be in the US soon???!!! Not a huge fan of hooded sweaters but the shape is really interesting, and love the navy/grey options. Hopefully it's uploaded this week in the US!
