Yuk! Not my cup of tea. Does not look very lulu to me.

OT...did the Pace Rival Crop in black/wind chill white lullaby/lullaby ever get uploaded to the U.S.?

Looks like the stroke of midnight on New Year's Day in New York City.

WUT. No, just no. I would not think Lulu if I saw those on someone. It's so garish looking. Who is designing these crap patterns?!

Cannot....unsee....clown pants.....

Hooray 4th of July!! Maybe if I was in a parade or "Queen of July 4th"...

No way I missed these either!!! What's your impression of this print LLA? It's a very busy print for sure and maybe too much for pants, I do like the colours though. The LS top she is wearing looks nice but I wish they would make white tops that weren't so see through...

omg please let these come in speeds.

@ anon 6:04 am - I don't mind them nearly as much in the crop as the pants. There is also a Flow Y and Energy Bra in the print. The Energy bra version is super bright in the luxtreme fabric. I like the look better in the WUCs. I'm torn on whether I like the print or not.

@ anon 4:28 am - lol

@ anon 9:41 pm - I know.

Yeah seems like they would be very cute in speed shorts.

I don't hate those crops. I would totally rock them for my half on the 4th of July!

This is an early April Fool's joke, right? Agree these are total clown pants.

Anonymous said...

I think these would look awesome in a skirt or shorts!

Looks like a confetti factory threw up. Yuck.

I hate how high the rise is. I haven't bought many pants lately because I cannot stand high rise anything and that seems to be where they are putting all their efforts :P

Bleh, looks like a pattern that Athleta had in their bottoms in the last year. This is nothing special, pretty much like everything that Lulu is putting out anymore. I actually haven't even looked at the What's New page since the beginning of the new year.

My eyes!!! My eyes!! Did lululemon hire washed up Nike designers this year or what? What's with these cheap and impractical prints?? Unless you are planning on joining the circus, this clown pattern is just unwearable and unflattering!

These would make cute running crops. I wouldn't wear them casually. But I'd definitely wear them for running.

I won't be buying these. Looks like sea wheeze or Nike

I think they're kinda cool actually. Agree not your "typical lulu" of yesterday, but at this point "typical lulu" is bright prints on pants a lot of the time. To each their own...

@OttawaLuluLover - The new head of design or product or whatever nonsensical title they gave him came from Nike.

@lululover - Good point, they definitely look like could be a Sea Wheeze offering.

@ anon 8:02 am - lol on the confetti factory throwing up.

OT - wellandgood.com just had a survey of favorite everyday leggings. Athleta high-rise chaturangas won. WUs didn't even make the list. I'm wondering if people have tried the Chatas and how they compare. (Although I love the fabric, WUs always slide down on me)

My luck the only product Canada will get that Hong Kong already has will be these WUP/WUC in this confetti pattern, boo hoo.

I've felt up the Chaturanga tights in the store but they always felt kind of hot on me. I can't remember whether I've tried them on. I probably did at one time but the only athleta bottoms I've really liked are the Sonar Capris.

I have a pair of the chaturanga crops from Athleta. Plain black. I personally grab those more often over my WUC when heading to yoga. I really like them and they fit me better than WUC from lulu.

Anonymous said...

Anon @10:13 am: I've had luck with the high rise and regular chata tight / capri. Like lulu addict, I really like the sonar capris. I wear them as often as my lulu crops & tights.

Speeds, a fruffly skirt, Yes. Entire bottom half of body, Nope.

Anonymous said...

I'd prefer polka dots.

Anonymous said...

That surprises me. I hate Athleta's Chat tights. They are thin, semi-sheer, feel weird, and fuzz.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, like, can we have Pixie already?!?

Anonymous said...

Agree looks like an Athleta or would, as someone over at Lulumum suggested, be a good Iviva print. I think what annoys some of us is that it seems to be so juvenile and computer-generated as a print.

Anonymous said...

I'm with you LLA..they seem to be OK in the crops and might even work in small dosages (speed shorts perhaps)...

Anonymous said...

gross

I like Athleta for their petite, tall and plus sizes. I am short and WUP are really long on me and I am not a fan of Lulu's high rise trend. Like any other brand, you got to try it on because they can vary. Some can be thin and sheer, some are better than my WUP.

They aren't for me, but there are a lot of women at my gym who like really wild leggings so I think there are people who will like these.

have a pair of crops like that from Dharma bums (Australian Company) I payed like 40$ for them, I wear them for yoga and indoor running.

looks like a lot of the new leggings coming from a lot of Athletic and yoga wear are going in this direction. The Olympics are in Brasil this year and I think everyone is doing the bright patterns and colors. I am South American so I am totally into the bright colors and wild patterns.

@M - Dharma Bum prints look a lot like the American company K-Deer - very colorful and fun. I like these wild print leggings better than the ones that look like airbrushed van paintings like Eagle Rock Werkshop.
