Do you own a pair of runderful pants? If yes, how do you like it?
@6:27 I know you didn't ask me but I love mine so much I bought a second pair when they went on sale. It seems like they might not suit certain body types but they work for mine. If you are extremely curvy or have wide hips it's possible they might cause some puckering near the crotch. I had to size up because I have a large butt and couldn't get my TTS up over it but the next size is perfect.
@ anon 6:27pm I just got a pair today in black (they were on MD). I actually really like them. I hike a lot and during this time of the year I find that I always wear leggings underneath my hiking DWR pants. so the runderful pants should fit the bill just fine! as the ed said, it takes a little to get used to put them on. just be patient and pull them up like you would some stockings. then arrange the exterior layer. they feel really soft inside. also I think this shape fits better taller people because they bag a little in front. I am also between sizes and I took the smaller size because otherwise the front might bag too much (because of the design). I do love how they hug your legs and how they fit around my calves.
ok hope this helps :)
that cosmic dot print (last pic) is just hideous. there is no nice way to say it, sorry
Thanks for the tips. I took the plunge and bought a pair in black. :0)
Is the mesh on the speed crops circle mesh?
On Runderfuls - I ordered them at full price but returned them and bought a pair on MD. I find them TTS. I'm hoping they work out. I returned them at full price (BC I thought they were way over priced as so many things are now) but also BC the inside tight layer bagged in the crotch on me so I thought there was the possibility of chaffing or I would have just had to pull them up constantly. (I think a size down would have been too tight to get on and off without annoyance) Also BC the outer layer way not particularly warm. I think they are more of a 30s - 40s or rain pant then a real winter pant (for a Canadian co LL doesn't do a lot of real winter IMO). Finally, the outside clings like there is s bit of a static problem. But BC I have a real need for pants that I can wear from dog hikes to town or daycare I decided to give them a go on sale. I'm hoping they don't end up languishing in the back of my closet...
I absolutely love the Runderful pants. I bought the black grape ones for full price and had no regrets. I got the black ones on WMTM as soon as they went up. It was a no brainer for me.
They take a few minutes to get on but once on they are super comfortable and awesome for running. They don't creep up or down and they hold in your core (for me, my paunch) nicely.
Just noticed the DFAR pullover in teal is back on WMTM in my size. Would you guys recommend ordering? Does anyone who bought it think that it could be too warm for California? It's around 45-60 this winter
Pretty boring outfit... Black, grey, & white?
@anon 6:27. The Runderful pants are my favourite lined pants to date. Bought the Bordeaux on Md and have been waiting for the rest to go on markdown. So naturally I just picked up two more pairs. I think these pants are either a giant hit or miss depending on your body type. Would recommend trying on as that is the only way to go. I am 5'5 125lbs and I took the size 4. Now just waiting for the black grape to go on markdown. ( they didn't put those ones on MD on the Cad side. Grrrrr.)
I really hope that color speed crop comes in size 2 (and 12 for those who need it) I have been waiting for that style and really lame that so far it's been 4-10 on sizes. I hate when lulu does that
@ anon 9:01 am - I think the vest is inwell but I am not sure. I love the crops.
@ anon 10:48 am - I know Canada got 12 in Speed Crops. I didn't check whether they got size 2.
I wish they would make the speed crops without the mesh!! Love the idea of crops with side pockets but hate mesh.
lol I'm the opposite - I like limited mesh for ventilation purposes but dislike all the busy side pockets.
I love my DFAR best, but it's definitely warm for running. I wear it when its 20-30 degrees and it keeps me very warm.
I'm with you anon 6:56, I do like some tasteful mesh , I like side and contrast panels. But I don't care for all the bells and whistles, like side and back pockets. I don't use them and I feel that they add extra bulk and thickness. I feel that lulu might consider making two separate lines of clothing, for indoor and outdoor activities so people like me won't have to pay extra for reflectivity and unwanted pockets/zippers
