Yet another pair of performance crops with too small pockets...
They have been sprinkling WMTM with new items. Just when I had sworn off further purchases until at least September, I seem to have accidentally bought a warrior tank! It's hopeless, really...
I dont see the Pedal to the Metal tight online, is this a UK or Canada only style? Thanks for any help!
Hi, I cant seem to find the Pedal to the Medal 7/8 tight online, any help is appreciated!
LLA- I have an intel on the Picnic Play dress for the So Cal peeps. Lulu Irvine called me this morning to let me know that they will be arriving in their shipment tomorrow. Which means that they maybe arriving at other So Cal store locations tomorrow.
The manager is putting one aside for me to purchase tomorrow. Big props to the Lulu Irvine team on their follow through and customer service! Seriously, one happy camper here :)
The Pedal to the Medal 7/8 Tight are in Canadian stores right now.
Thanks for the info!
@DeeZee - thanks! That will make lots of people happy.
Anyone who's seen the Pretty Plume HTP or WUPs in store, please share whether or not the pattern varies with each item. I really hate hoarding 2-3 pairs online just to get the right pattern distribution. I'm hoping these are all dark up top ombré down to the bottom. I always return them but want to save moola and let everyone who wants them get them ASAP!
Picnic Play Dress is a joke. Be sure to try on or size up. Or you won't be able to walk much less Play.
I just called Spectrum and their manager said they likely weren't getting the dress, that if anyone would get it at this point it would be a high volume store like Fashion Island. I hate how inconsistent everything is with this company.
can anyone comment on the sheerness or opaqueness of the alarming wuc?
I find with the colors they are so thin, I can see the hang tag when standing up. on another not I did get the silver spoon/mesh roll down wuc..sold out now, super excited. anyone get these yet? and how are they?
I rec'd my picnic play dresses - I bought TTS and sized up - there is next to no cup support on the dress as the straps are a bit loose for me (I find most strappy tops are a bit too long for me).....so I am not getting any support on the breasts - but it is super flattering from the back and the front - from the side, not so much because I need good support. I am 5'4" - 135 lbs - 32B - 27 waist - I like the looser fit of the size up but the straps become looser and therefore no support at all. The bottom bra band only runs across front of dress and up the straps - so no continuos bra band on circling my back. I think this is why I am not getting support - straps are a bit too long/loose for me - otherwise the dress is gorgeous. Still undecided...btw I bought a size 6 TTS. Hope this helps.
Me too :(
I just returned my Picnic dress in size 10. The educator seemed really happy, because it was her size. There is a shelf bra, but it is not supportive, so you still have to wear a specialty bra (I'm 36 B) that doesn't wreck the design of the pretty back. The dress fit me, except for the underarm seams which were a bit loose. The reason for my return was the tightness on the bottom - I'm a fast walker and you can step only very daintily in this dress. Hemming for me was out of the question, because I bought the dress mainly for the length. All in all, it's not a bad design, but I would have loved a small slit on the bottom somewhere and a built-in bra with inserts.
On the other hand, the Breezy tank that you posted pictures of, LLA, should be called Perfection. It's light as a feather, breathes well, and I love the "ladder" design on the back. I wear a bra with it that has shoulder straps instead of straps on the back, to show it off.

Pretty Plume is the same across all pairs. there is no pattern variation.
