Sea Wheeze Sneak Peek Email Out!

Those are Tracker Shorts, not Speeds. This print looks like chrysalises to me.

Definitely chrysalises . They're beetles. Goodie. :P

I was hoping for a return of the Downtime but this Miss Misty is a pretty color.

The Sea Wheeze merchandise Sneak Peek email is out.  (Link on the Sea Wheeze site.) I'm sure my Sea Wheeze goggles will kick in and I'll gobble up this stuff, just like last year.

The Swiftly Long Sleeve and the Miss Misty look really pretty! All of you going to Sea Wheeze are so lucky to have a chance at getting this stuff - of course you earned it though :)

Ugh. They STILL don't know the names of their own products. Those are NOT Speeds!

Not chrysalises, those are beetles!

Im stoked that theyre letting the runners get dibs on the clothes first. I was worried id have to fight ebay scalpers for garments. Woooo running seawheeze is going to be fun! I sure hope there will be some inspire crops at the store too. I cant wait!

On another note I actually prefer the beetle shorts over the registration shorts. Though that isnt saying much...

Ugh. Who wants insects on their workout gear? An entomologist, maybe, but anyone else?

They are indeed beetles. I see a rainbow stag, cucumber beetle, lady bug, and emerald ash borer. Don't judge my nerdiness, I work as a coleopterist and am also a Lulu fanatic! :)
I really need some of those shorts...

@ anon 1:38 pm - Lol, you have to be the ONE person these shorts are truly meaningful for. The intersection of coleopterists (had to google it) and lulu fanatics has to be a small - but select! - group, indeed. :-)

Lmao I would totally wear those beetle shorts. Wouldn't pay full price though. But I like weird stuff and am also a lulu fan.

Haha! I totally would want something with beetles on it! I'm not much of a shorts girl, but I'd wear a singlet or some such. (I'm an artist with an interest in natural history specimens.)

I'd also like to note that anything to do with natural history collections is hugely trendy in the design world, so Lulu isn't as gross or bonkers as some of you are making them out to be. Seriously, I'm totally into that outfit!

I adore beetles so I will be trying to snag these on eBay!!!

The green looks like green bean. I don't care for beetles.

I love these shorts. I will be stalking these for sure!

Lululemon would have to be BONKERS to put emerald ash borers on their shorts! I really hope that's not what those are...

This is the first year in many that I haven't wished I was running this race just to buy the gear. Yuck on the beetles.

Omg when Is that green tank coming out?????

I just can't. Maybe it's because I'm finally over Lulu. I walk by and am not even tempted to go into the store because product has been so blech for so long. Beetles on shorts? No thanks. Not even after a bottle of wine.

I'm all over those shorts--love them!! I want a speed short version, though.

The SeaWheeze designers need to be in charge of ALL design at LLL. The colors and the designs are so unique and awesome.

I am totally with you. LOVE the beetles or whatever they are...beautiful colors. Need in a speed short for sure.

I love the beetles so much!!! I'm an artist who likes doing biological illustrations. I know some people hate them, but I definitely NEED those shorts!

I'd wear the bug shorts for sure and I am 50, I am a weird 50 yr old I guess. My guy would probably want me to check my head though.
