random OT question. Do you (or any readers) know if they are going to make 2 way stretch speed shorts anymore? Everything is 4 way stretch now. :(
I'm new to LLL. What's the difference between 2-way and 4-way stretch?
@Stargazer - the 4 way are usually super soft and very flowy. The 2 way stretch are more stiff and don't have as much give.

the speed shorts, for example, are woven vs. knit construction. In a woven, there are yarns that, depending on how you hold the fabric, run side to side (warp) and yarns that run up and down (weft). In 4-way stretch, both sets of yarns (warp and weft) have stretch. In 2-way stretch, only one set of yarns has stretch. woven (not printed) stripe or plaid is generally 2-way stretch.
