what are the purple colored swiftlys?? thank you!
They're both Lullaby.
....but i like my inspires.
What is the trim on the grapefruit FTBW? Gator green? I hope not....
@ anon 11:335 am - I know - me, too. And the Pace Rivals don't even go to a 12 on the HK store. I hope that is a local site thing since the women there are petite but if they eliminate THE core run crop in a 12, I'm going to be pissed.
@ anon 11:37 am - I'm afraid it is Gator.
I wonder why they would discontinue the Inspire crop..I'd be very disappointed if that happens however I have noticed many knock offs of the inspire crop running around so maybe that's the reason?
@lulu - I hope the rumor is unfounded. It seems weird they would replace it without seeing how the successor goes over first. I do like that the Pace Rivals have thigh pockets.
Have we seen a side-by-side comparison of grapefruit and electric coral (or pop orange)?? They seem so similar!
Why would they replace the inspires!!!??? First the 105 singlet now inspires?? They will be losing a lot of $$$ from me if they do in fact disconintue the inspires.
The Inspires are probably the ONLY pair of crops that I religiously buy and adore. I love the length and they are my go to for running. Plus they don't pill!
Every review on the Inspire crops says the seams unravel
Nix on replacing the Run: Inspires. I haven't heard anything about that and Inspire sales are still very, very strong--no reason to replace/cancel them (like Astros, Still pants, etc. were).
Straps are gator green
Pockets that fit new iPhones :) th Ed said they are definitely replacing the insider crops! Usually I wouldn't believe them but they are the store head office staff is always at so 100% sure it's true !
I think that they are also discontinuing the pace setter skirts. I haven't seen any new ones in a while.
There are tons of knock offs of the inspire crops out there, I can see why they would want to come up with new styles. I like my inspires a lot though.

Ooh, that skirt looks cute! Although, I do NOT need another skirt! I already have too many Lulu skirts and Speed shorts! My hubby will hit the roof if I buy yet another skirt or short! Ugh! #divorceskirt!
I hope there will be Grapefruit Swiftlies in both the Long and Short Sleeve versions. I was hoping for a Pistachio coloured Swiftly, but I'm kind of disappointed it isn't as saturated as I was imagining it would be, I know the colours in the Swiftly fabric are a little lighter but the pistachio just isn't what I imagined it would be :( It's still pretty though, I'll have to wait and see more of it before deciding.
@Robyn - It's such an unexpected rumor and coming out of Vancouver that I was afraid you were right. As long as it comes in a 12, I probably can live with it. Though, I am a big fan of solid luxtreme run crops and don't love a lot of mesh unless it's fully opaque and doesn't look like nylons when on. I do like the thigh pockets for phones, though. I was hoping to see a wider waistband, like those used on Rundays, but it looks about the same as Inspires, from eye-balling the photos.
@1:03pm
I have never had a problem with pilling on my inspires, and I have been purchasing them religiously for years.
I honestly don't see the point of side pockets on the replacement inspires. What I love about the inspires is how simple and light weight they are without sacrificing compression and durability. Adding the extra pocket kind of defeats the purpose...imho
The pockets are for carrying your phone. The Inspire back zip pocket barely accommodates an iPhone 5S out of its case and the new 6s are so much bigger. I didn't use to like thigh pockets because I figure they added a bulky look at the thigh but they are so functional I've totally reversed my stance. It's really handy to be able to reach into your thigh and grab your phone if you want to snag a photo during a run.
Love seeing the in store merchandise photos, but have always wondered - do the eds ever say anything about the picture taking or do they have a good idea of why the photos are being taken?
You mean take in general? They use them on their Facebook page and email to customers. As for being used on this blog, a lot of them get a kick out of it.
Count me in as someone who would be unhappy if the Inspire crop is discontinued. The Pace Rival crop looks nice enough, but I'm not a huge fan of thigh pockets. On me, they only add bulk to an already *ahem* bulky area, and I can't handle running with items in those pockets, especially my cell phone. But most runners love them, so lululemon is listening to feedback, which is good I guess.
In light of this rumor, I want to stock up on Inspires, but the selection right now is predominately that icky slippery high poly fullux, which is just awful.
RE: I know. I am glad I got the Textured Wave and Herringbone Inspires. If the Pace Rival is the replacement I hope they make them in textured luxtremes. I have 8 pairs of Inspires, one of which was in my sell bag but I might grab it back out and hoard it, for now.
@luluaddict 5:25pm.
Perhaps it is because I have the iphone 6+ that these pockets dont appeal to me. I will on occasion put my 6+ in the thigh pockets of my speed tights but usually avoid it because im terrified of bending my phone or having it pop out - and this is for regular day wear. I could never imagine running with one in my pocket, my god i would not be able to stop thinking about my phone.
LLA on the picture taking - I meant that for these Vancouver store photos, for example, I assume Ms. R is a customer who is kind enough snap all these pics to share with fellow LLL fans, so I just wondered if the eds in the store ever comment when this happens.
@ anon 8:30 pm - I don't know but I doubt it. Ms. R. is a very good customer in her local store. I can't think lululemon minds the extra publicity. I know Ms. R. shares her photos with multiple Facebook groups, too. I often take photos in the store out on the floor to share with my son/ husband/ sister if I spot something I think they would like to ask if they want me to pick something up for them.
