Still don't get that back pleated top. I bought the Hit Your stride skirt - it is totally my style. Love all the pockets and it is really light and airy.
I like the pleated top. Looking at the serious, austere, no-nonsense, almost masculine front, the girly, swirly, totally surprising pleated back is unexpectedly delightful. I have to try it on though. In the pictures you posted, the upper back looks kind of unyielding. Maybe my wide shoulders would fill it out more. Or it would wrinkle on me like heck.
That Pleat On LS is every bit as ghastly as you thought it was. Lulu is going to two extremes: either way too much fabric (that new jacket looks like a housecoat and the pleats are ghastly) or uber-cleavage. I'm not into my nipples getting up close and personal with others at yoga, thanks. Sheesh.
The hit your stride skirt looks cheap. Are the hems undone? My pace setters can barely hold up for a half marathon & this skirt looks way too thin & cheap. I can't imagine it holding up while I hit my stride. The pleat on LS reminds me of "no capes"! I'm glad I got the pleat to street bc since then Lulu has missed the mark on pleats..IMO.
I'm sorry, but the girl(wanna be cheerleader) in the Just breath LS and Hit your Stride skirt that is sticking out her chest.. Really? and right in front of the lulu logo. Not the kind of brand advertising I think Lulu is looking for. In fact, if there was more like this, I would be too embarrassed to wear their clothes.
I am really liking the pleat on!!! Not sure I would spend $90 on it because it doesn't really have a technical use in my life.. But if it goes on wmtm I would gladly add this item to my wardrobe!! I'm curious how the pleats would hold..
I think the skirt is cute, but come on, $64?! And where are the fun, bright colors, Lulu? I'm tired of the only choices being pale, washed out bottoms and shades of black!
Wow, that pleated top is truly the worst. Great way to start off 2015 Lulu...a whole month of boring and uninspired designs/colours...no where to go but up (I hope)!
The only thing I've picked up this month is the relaxed fit pants (love them), so it's been nice to give the credit card a break!
I have several pleat skirts that were uploaded in the past few months. the pleats hold very well, even after washing. I take care not to leave them at the bottom of a pile of clothes though.
I got the skirt in black and it is well made, I almost ordered the one shown above, but it sold out. The skirt looks really great on and mine at least, looks like it will hold up. I will mostly be running in it. The pleated top is not for everyone, I think they over did their idea.
We were having fun that's me in the picture no need to take everything in life so seriously. I doubt anyone in this world would ever be embarrassed to wear lululemon. Relax and do some yoga my friend ;)
The "cheerleader" in the skirt pic is what actually sold me on the new skirt. I think the skirt is absolutely adorable and looks great on her. I hope it work on my body type, just ordered it today!!
