Black sherpa lining. |

Giant Herringbone Exterior |
It wasn't made super clear in the text or on line photos but the
Luscious Embrace Hoodie is indeed lined with Sherpa Fleece. My friend, Ms. A., received hers today. She said the fit is on the slimmer side as indicated in the text. (Why did this not come in a twelve?!?) Mine is supposed to get here tomorrow so I'll take lots of photos and comparisons to a Scuba. The length looks Scuba-ish to me.

What is the third photo?
Sorry, the is the fabric on the outside of the Giant Herringbone.
Just bought one when I saw it in store today. Oh my!!! So cozy.
@Tina - how did you think it fit? TTS? or a bit small? A little shorter than a Scuba? That is what some people who received their orders are saying.
is the lining gray? or is that just a flash? online looks black.
this jacket has been calling me.
@ anon 11:23 pm - It's black in real life.
Nice! Looking forward to the review, LLA. If anyone is willing to share pics of the jacket with LLA, I'd love to see those as well.
Got mine in mail today and will be returning. I thought it ran small and would consider if LLL made size 12. I wasn't impressed with look of jacket, it was just o.k. on me. I am between 10 - 12 in most shirts and jackets. Lately more a size ten and this was snug.
Is that the brown?
I too am interested in this Embrace Hoodie Lucious..called my store today and they should have it in store tomorrow..I hope the stores get it through a 12..I have often sized up to a 12 in a majority of Lulu's jackets as they always seem to be tight through the chest/shoulder area..Plus it helps with layering. I go between a 10/12 scuba as well but often there is a length difference too ..the 12 scubas always have a bit more length for me and I tend to get the 12 more often than not .
Just tried it on in the store, didn't like the fit, the length of the scuba, very warm and bulky. Reversible. Whereas the scuba scoops in on your waist this does not and is bulky and unflattering. But if you really want it get it in the same size as you would the Scuba.
Bah, that hoodie is NOT going to fit me in a 10. I wear 10s in most things lulu, but I can barely zip up a Scuba in a 12. Why must these jackets be so tight?
that's a really nice looking classic jacket.

I got mine today in the herringbone.... So soft and cozy but an easy pass for me as it's so unflattering and I'm not loving the dropped shoulder seam..... :-( perhaps if it was longer (over the butt) it would help lengthen the look and not seem so puffy (think Michelin Man!)! In a longer length I would have kept it because I do think it will be warm. Oh well .... Maybe more sherpa-lined stuff tonight or soon?!
Definitely runs small. So disappointed. Pulls a little under the arms and the dropped hem on the sleeve is odd fitting and might be contributing to the arm pulling. I can't put my finger on whether that's what's making it feel tight across the chest too. Doesn't seem too much shorter than a scuba but that ribbed hem makes it feel that way to me. Overall, like the sherpa but not the fit. Although it doesn't look slim fitting, the outside is loose but the inside feels tight. If that makes sense lol.
I got the embrace hoodie - luscious in store today. It fits similar to a scuba for me. Perhaps a little roomier but it doesn't seem like it will stretch at all like my scuba does afer I wear it for a bit. I stayed with my scuba size, which is a size up from all my other tops. It is super cozy and warm.
Are the sleeves sherpa lined? My store still does not have this (among other things) and I would probably just order it online - if the sleeves are also lined. Thanks!
@ anon 3:03 pm - yes, sleeves are sherpa lined, too.
@3crazykids - I didn't even notice the dropped sleeves. That usually kills a top for me. I suppose I'll find out soon enough.
You guys were right. Those dropped shoulders just ruin the jacket. I laid the jacket over a scuba and it measures up pretty similarly width and length-wise. The sleeves are noticeably shorter than a scuba. I think you have to go for a slouchy look in this for the dropped shoulder thing to look ok. That wasn't happening for me in the size ten. It's too bad, I like concept of a sherpa-lined, herringbone Scuba-type jacket.
I tried on the coco pique embrace luscious as my store didn't hace the giant herringbone and totally agree with you that the drop shoulder is a bummer. Also I couldn't size up because no 12. It is cozy and totally could have been so great with a few adjustments. Oh well :(
I am between a 4 and 6 and got the six in this. It feels TTS because it's just as roomy as when I get a 6 in a scuba. :)
