New Heathered Slate Reflective Inspires and Speed Tights.
Skinny Groove Diamond Jacquard Space Dye Black Coal Wunder Under Pants
Flaming Tomato Cool Racerback
Inkwell Out of this World Dress
Pipe Dream Blue and Power Purple Scuba Hoodies
Going Grape Mesh Bangbuster
The upload was dominated by reflective run gear. I like the new Reflective Inspires but the light color will show sweat. I think I am just going to get the Going Grape Mesh Bangbuster. I am a big fan of the mesh bangbusters. I was kind of hoping to see that new mosaic print.
Did you get anything?

Very disappointing. I wanted nothing. I have the bomber reflective jacket from last year and I like it. Fit is TTS. But wow how I wanted to spend and lulu helped me keep it in the bank this week.
No :(
Not a fan of any of the reflective stuff, since I refuse to run at night. (Big city, small female, you do the math.)
I was looking for a new pair of WUP but I guess I'll hit the store instead.
Nothing for me. Total snooze fest this week IMO.
I am in Canada. After some technical problems, I was able to order out of this world dress and reflective skirt. Skirt will go back as it is too expensive, but wanna "touch it"
The power purple and blue are old colours? Whew nothing this week. I need a break
First upload in a long time where I don't want a single thing. Would totally go for those flaming tomato jacquard WUCs if they were roll down. Considering flaming tomato CRB, but that red seems too orange for my skin tone.
I was waaaaiting and waaaating for those grape cotton rolldown WUs - finally! Nothing else for me.
@ anon 4:36 pm - I had to switch to Chrome and use a credit card to check out. Paypal did not work for me.
Just the flaming tomato bumble berry WUCs for me. Boring upload otherwise and I have enough reflective gear.
Nothing for me, thank goodness. The reflective stuff isn't something I typically go for. I'd really love it if they pumped out a few herringbone or pique skirts or slouchy sweatpants that could be dressed up. The pocket outline is a dealbreaker for me.
nothing! everything is hideous!!
I need a new pair of casual pants so I ordered the Base Runner, Skinny Grooves in the diamond jacquard and the roll down cotton Black Grape WUP to see which one I like the most…am only planning on keeping one:) I have the diamond jacquard WUP that I will likely return since I like the looser fit of the ankles of the skinny grooves. Also bought the reflective black grape fly away tamer.
Nothing for me as well. Does anyone know if the flaming tomato diamond jacquard WUC II would be in stores this week? I would have also prefered WUP or roll down version instead.
Ordered the FT WUC (finally!). No issues ordering with the Lulu app!
Some cute things but stuck with a couple basics: yogini tee in rust berry and yogi racerback in cayman stripe. Love the herringbone base runner pants but I don't wear the black ones I have from last year to justify another pair for $108!
The 3rd picture of Out of This world dress made me almost wanna to cry for that girl.
I was hoping for the reflective vest but settled for the skirt and shorts (will decide which to keep when I get them). I'm waffling on the reflective toque as it doesn't look that reflective to me. Does anyone know?
Where are the inkwell base runners! The pictures all week have been teasing me. Boo!
The flaming tomato bumble berry WUC are the thickest crops I've ever tried. Great for casual wear, I can't imagine working out on them
Super disappointed but that's good for my bank account
@ anon 5:10 pm - those types of bottoms are strictly casual wear for me.
@ anon 5:06 pm - The US only got the herringbone Base Runner pants.
The flaming tomato WUCs were sold out in all sizes when i tried to get them. That's all that interested me this week so I guess nothing.
I tried the Flaming Tomato WUC on in my store today. I am a size 8 in all my LLL pants and crops and had to size up to a 10 in these and still felt that the rise was too short and that they were too tight overall. The material was certainly opaque but they almost felt uncomfortably not stretchy enough for me. I had the same experience when trying on the diamond jacquard black deep coal WUPs. They did not feel nearly as comfortable as my black herringbone WUPs so I left them in the store. My store did have the Inkwell Base Runner pant. I tried them on but they were just not a good look on me. I have long legs and the cuffs hit above my ankle. Perhaps if I had tried on a size down so they were closer to a legging fit I would have liked them better. The fabric was super super soft and I liked the inkwell stripe version. But just didn't work for me.
Nothing I 'have' to have, which is a feeling of relief that I'm guessing many of you are familiar with! I'm thinking about getting the jaquard grooves; however, I just wrestled myself into keeping the coco ones so I probably don't need them both. (Do I??!)
This is unrelated to upload, but lulu addict can you tell me if the heathered black ebb to street pants look purple to you? Thanks
diamond jacquard: TTS or size down? i think LLA said they are a tiny bit shorter in rise and shorter overall than usual. i am between 6 and 8 and don't like too short a rise. am thinking of splurging on the skinny grooves - my older pair of luon ones in 8 are a little loose. any advice? TIA! otherwise, zzzzz on the upload.
@Sassy - they do look purplish on the website and they are paired with a black jacket, too.
Very interested in the reflective gloves/hat, but I'll hold out in the hopes they go to WMTM. I already have hats and gloves, so i don't need to buy them and if I miss out, oh well. The reflective skirt is intriguing, but I'm going to see if I can look at it in store and then wait to see how it sells.
I just can't justify lulu regular prices anymore.
I did not get anything. Some of the reflective stuff is OK and obviously very practical if you run in the dark. I have other reflective items and lights, so am not actually drawn to the reflective items. Now that the time is changing (and winter eventually), I will limit my running to weekends in the daylight. I used to be more hardcore and run at all times, but I just don't care to run in the dark anymore. In winter even a sheen of ice can take you down. Bikram Yoga during the week for me, that's my "compromise". lol, if you practice BY, you know how challenging it is. But I love it.
So...they are putting out all the nice colours in the refresh racer tank (Osaka stripe heathered black going grape, Bordeaux drama, blossom stripe bumbleberry) and for the good old cool racerback we get flaming tomato, heathered slate (didn't we just see this in a slightly darker grey 6 -8 weeks ago), and more polyester-ey feeling prints like the petal camo. C'mon Lululemon, we want the beautiful prints and colours in the more versatile CRB!! (Not looking forward to a brown crb either...boo).
@Sassy - and if you look at In the Flow crops the back looks truly black. The cuffs on those Ebb to Street Pants look black but the legs look purple. I wonder if the name is miscoded.
Even if the run reflective speed shorts are without a liner, it would be pretty dumb of them not to put some other material against the reflective side so it's more comfortable against the skin. Regardless of being designed to wear over tights, there are climates where one may not need tights and will be running in the dark or low light. Their own website photos for the item do not even show then worn over tights (just states it in the wwmt) and the photos from the stores are showing this.
The out of this world dress was totally hideous on me. Too tight, uncomfortable.
Yes, I'm in the US. I wish they would put online what they have in the stores. Not all of us have access to a bricks and mortar shop. I did order a pair of the herringbone. By the way, this is a fantastic blog that you put together for us. I really appreciate it. (from anon 5:06 pm )
I bought 2 reflective In a Flash bras. I have an old one from last spring, but I don't remember what size I wore, so I bought a 4 and a 6. I also bought the reflective speed shorts. Was going to buy the skirt, but since I would want to wear it for my Ragnar Relay in the summer, I would need something with a liner, so I got the shorts instead. Glad to see they have 3 pockets. (Although the one review said they didn't, we'll see). I was hoping for a polarfleece Vinyasa, but they weren't up tonight. Boo!
Where is the new sashiko star crops?
Oh, and when I first tried to put the reflective bras in my cart, they were sold out of every size. I went back a few minutes later and was able to get a 4 and a 6. Otherwise, absolutely no problems with ordering tonight. So glad I didn't get the wheel of death! :)
I've been waiting for the Space Dye Going Grape LS Swiftly to be uploaded to Canada but it doesn't look very purple in the upload pictures! If anyone has seen it in person I'd love to hear what you think about how purple it is or isn't? In the upload pictures it looks more dark gray or navy to me, maybe even more like Cadet Blue than purple.
Restrained myself and did not order the flaming tomato bumble berry crops- would prefer those heavier weights in WUPs and roll downs for Canadian winters and would be casual wear. Happy though that Lulu is bringing out lots of nice bright colours.
OT- any feedback on the bark chocolate reversible luon wunder unders?
OT- any chance we will see the Stride jacket in bumble berry or similar bright colours such as fuel green, teal ??
thanks, :)
@ anon 6:59 pm - I've seen it in person. It's a dark purple. It's not as blue or gray as the website shows but it's not a real obvious purple.
At 6:59 PM - Going Grape LS Swiftly is awesome IMO. It looks nothing like the upload photos. It's definitely purple in real life. I would call it a cross between tender violet and bruised berry. Only thing is that since it's heathered it's not super saturated. Order it, you won't be disappointed!
Way off topic but does anyone have a spring fling vest black 6 they want to part with?
Pipe dream blue and power purple....yawn
Thank you for your reply LuluAddict, and for all the work you put into your blog too! (from anon @ 6:59 PM)
First I couldn't see upload in either french or English , then saw it in english, tried adding any size of the dress and it said it is out of stock even though they showed it as available. Went to french side, all sizes available , added the dress, then the PayPal would say my card is not good, had to redo all over and suddenly it was all good,,,,
Where was the brown CRB spotted? In the US? Sigh, I really want one, but it didn't get uploaded tonight.
Grabbed a pair of the skinny grooves in black grape (as I missed the roll down wunder unders in black grape when they hit a few weeks ago...wahhh!). I like my black skinny grooves quite a bit so I imagine these will also wind up in heavy rotation. Otherwise, I typically don't run in the dark thanks to sketchy folks in the neighborhood, so upload was bit of a snooze this week for me.
Thinking back to LAST week though - I got the Everyday Pants in inkwell and they are super cute. I bought my usual 8 and I feel they are maybe slightly bigger than perfect, but I think the 6's would have created a muffin top. I'll add a belt and go from there. I can totally see me reaching for these over my skinny jeans, and would be stretchy to ride a bike to/from work in for sure.
Kinda want that deep coal manifesto script scuba. I like that the contrast is subtle.
I got the going grape 105f because I'm a sucker for purple and the bumble berry/flaming tomato WUCs. I haven't tried the new length in WUCs but I have a feeling I won't like it. At least I can get them hemmed :/
Was looking at the new scuba pictures and both the power purple and blue have embroidery. Not really a fan of this, seems Athleta-like. Purple has it on the hood. Blue on the arm--not sure what it is even supposed to be.
I tried on the jacuard WUPs in store and also found them to be awkward as others have mentioned. My tts felt constrictive and the rise was lower than my herringbone WUPs from this year. The size up felt better everywhere except the waist which was way too loose and would result in me constantly having to pull it up. If they were roll downs, I would have considered getting them in my tts with the hope that they would stretch out a bit through the butt and leg. The regular version, I feel, would give all but the few 15% body fat ladies a muffin top, because the material just doesn't have a lot of give.
I got the out of this world dress in inkwell. I ordered the black one last time and it really works on my hourglass figure. I got a smaller size this time, I think it will be slightly better at the waist. Glad to have another shot at it--I don't find many dresses that work, are comfortable, and will be perfect for travel like this one.
OT but does anyone know if the coco pique bhakti yoga jacket comes in a size 2. It starts at a 4 online but I know they make bhaktis in size 2, just not this color?
Have they uploaded the fuel green cool racerback? I've never seen it and am holding out for it!
I bought the red CRB :) I am going to try on the base runner pant in store before purchasing.
I really wanted to buy some reflective gear since I run in the early mornings. Too bad they didn't make any in size 2 (except the crops but its still 80 degrees here)
Nothing for me finally. I got to know about lulu in June and have been buying quite a lot. So good for my wallet. =p
I don't like running in the dark.
Just sad that they didnt add the darker grape colours to CRB and I am not a fan of the refresher.
Anon @ 7:09 PM - Thanks for replying to my Going Grape LS Swiftly question! I really like the Tender Violet and Bruised Berry colours, and I have the Space Dye Bruised Berry SS from a few months ago and love it. I'm going to order the Going Grape LS! :)
I do wonder if LLM had adjusted the rise of the WUPs. I have the jumbo inky florals in fullux in my TTS4, and it had a lower rise compared to my older WUPs. I think some ladies had tried pulling them up higher, and that could have led to the CT complaints. They were also a more challenging fit across the upper hip area - they pucker up on my fatter tummy days. Having said that, the WUPs did not roll down or need adjustments when I do bends and jumps. So, I think it's better to try the WUPs now before you buy them, if possible.
I'm addicted to the WU roll downs now for sure! They are so comfortable!
The power purple and pipe dream scubas are the chakra ones from earlier this year....wonder why they reappeared.
Of course the only thing I WANTED was uploaded to the Canadian site today - the Out of this world dress. Of course I don't get paid until the end of the month. Needless to say I missed out. Hopefully Canadian stores don't get the dress until the weekend.
anyone know if the long line clip in bra was uploaded to the canadian site?
I had the same problem with the jacquard WUC. My TTS was so increidbly tight but the size up was too risky because they already felt like they were sliding down a little. I was so disappointed. I hope lulu makes them in roll down!
btw, LLA, are there still LLL facebook exchange forums? I can't seem to find them.
@anon 5:32pm
@anon 7:43pm
Make that 3...I tried on the flaming tomato bumble berry crops and the diamond jacquard black deep coal WUPs. Agree there is definitely less give/strtch due to the construction.
I'm a 6 in all lulu bottoms. These felt just a tad too tight getting them on in sz 6. Once on, they were ok, but the rise a bit short and I cld easily envision the need to pull them up. Tried 8's in both. More comfortable, but then I panic about stretching.
Camel toe on both crop and pant, regardless of size.
I think I'll try the 8 in both.
I have the Bumbleberry WUC in a size 6 (with tags) that I am going to return this week sometime. I think they sold out pretty fast online. Thought I would check and see if anyone wants them before I return to the store?
The speeds don't have a liner! :( not sure about the skirt...
Check this out! NY Marathon limited collection by lululemon.

My diamond jacquard WUPs just showed up yesterday, and I agree that things have changed. The rise is definitely lower, and I find the jacquard material very strange. Although it's thick and opaque, it isn't particularly soft or stretchy - a LOT less comfortable, I thought, than coco pique. (I'd just been wearing last year's coco pique WUPs when the jacquards arrived, and so the contrast was really striking.) The material looks nice, but they're just not as comfy as the coco pique WUPs (I'm not into "compressiveness" as I don't work out in WUPs.) I'll give them another look in daylight, but I'm guessing the jacquards will be going back.
look on the inside of the mesh liner in the bra. it should have the size printed there between the
between the inner and outer layers of fabric
not a bright purple, more a gray purple but it does still look purple in person.
i ordered the reflective shorts and reflective headband. i'm having to shift my runs to the evenings in order to get them in, so i figured these were better than the little lights i've been using (and the small reflective parts of some running gear). plus, i looked at a pair of Nike reflective tights...to the tune of $150. this seemed like a more economical option.
i did have issues ordering. the app kept telling me my password was not valid. i even reset it. so, i used Safari on my iPhone. when i went through that way, it told me the headband was sold out in both colors. i ordered my shorts and had to go back to get the headband separately.
i'm eager to hear reviews of the cotton roll-down WUPs. i tried on the Black Grape roll-downs (luon) and they were completely sheer. and i have a pretty flat behind, sadly. but i love the Black Grape color!
Nothing for me. I'm tempted by the heathered boom juice swiftly, but I just bought the SS heathered rad red and I can't justify getting another one in such a similar color...can I? LLA, do you think it they'll put out a heathered boom juice LS swiftly?
@ anon 6:46 am - I am hoping they do. I would like either than or a tank in the color.
I got the reflective skirt. I will get a lot of use of it.
I saw the reflective shorts at the Union Square NYC store last night.
They do not have a liner, but there is an extra layer of fabric over the reflective material that seems to be a type of mesh. They are pretty well made.
M
Where are all the pretty Scuba hoodies? :(
The reflective inspire crop description says there are mesh side pockets, in addition to the three pocket waistband - I love side pockets, but know that the regular inspires do not have them, and I cannot see them on any of the stock photos. Does anyone know that the reflective inspires actually have those side pockets? Thanks!
@ M 8:48 AM, that's helpful of you to report that the reflective material of the speed short has a fabric over it
