The latest Britt's picks for next week. The plaid Scuba is cute but I think way too young for me. My teenage niece would rock this. The Healthy Heart PO looks like it's made of coco pique rulu and might be cozy.

Do you all want to hear how bad the struggle for getting a FTWB is? I saw the post, immediately got up out of a presentation I just sat down to attend, literally ran to the lululemon store (about .8 miles away) in work attire, sweating bullets when I arrived. As they know me quite well, they said "what are you looking for?" I said "where's the FTWB?" all short of breath. It had not arrived yet, but they put me on the list to call. I already had a heads up that it was coming, but when I saw proof ... I had to get there! Normally they do not do holds, but they were so surprised that anyone would do what I just did and said I deserved it. HAAHHAH! I AM READY!
OT - I just got my order from Tuesday. I ordered the Race Your Pace LS in pique and the pique neck warmer, and I just wanted to say that I LOVE the RYP LS in pique! I also bought it previously in the multi-stripe color, and I like the gray pique one much better than that one. I even regret buying the other one, but it's been over two weeks so I can't return it. Oh well. The gray pique one looks so nice - I think it has a slimming effect. I've never tried a lulu neck warmer before, but when trying it on, it also looks very nice, and I think it would be very useful for shoveling snow this winter - and useful for running, of course :)
As for Britt's Picks, I don't see anything that I want that badly. Good thing, because this week I also bought the Rebel Runner crops in black grape, which should come tomorrow!
I know I'm late to the petal camo party but I just don't know what to think about them. I ordered them recently and I found them REALLY thin. But it seems as though some people are loving them. LLA did you find yours thin and sheer? Mine feel like panty hose! I feel like I don't have enough fabric covering my butt. I'm wishing to keep them...but $100 for panty hose thickness?? I can't believe these haven't been recalled. Maybe there are different batches? TIA for any input! : )
Oops, I JUST added a comment about my major return to the store)). Meant to post it here, not under the older posts. Please help moving it, dear LLA! Thank you!
@Anon 4:21 - I ordered the petal camo rebel runner crops and they came today and I was totally underwhelmed (and I really loved the bordeaux drama embossed ones and the black grape ones) --- they felt really thin to me. Went to the store to return them and tried on the petal camo inspires and liked them better, but felt they were also really crazy thin, too. I could see the white tag through them easily when squatting (same went for the petal camo RRs), and I know I would rip it out and they'd probably be fine for just running, but even with the petal camo print, I didn't feel they had adequate coverage for the pricepoint :( Long story short: they did not come home with me and I returned the rebel runner version, but like you I really wanted them.
I will say the black grape rebel runners seemed nice and thick and had good coverage (those came home with me earlier in the week). It seems to me that the embossed printed running bottoms are just thinner for some odd reason and sheer when squatting or possibly standing, though it is harder to tell when standing, which is a bummer.
@Tia, I own the petal camo in the run inspire and absolutely love them..I feel that they camouflage completely and in a bend I see nothing...However I did run in to try the petal camo Speed tight and absolutely saw the hang tag and my underware ..tried my up size and the same. The educator agreed and tried on her size and was surprised to find them so sheer..I believe they are having an internal debate on the speed tight in this pattern. I hope that helps :)
@Anon 5:02 I have the FTBW in a size 8, im a 34DD. My boobs definitely bubble over the top, I have to keep adjusting and then it looks fine. It works for me though. If I went up a size the band would've too big. I wear it when I have tops that will show off the back, otherwise I've really been digging the On Your Way Bra for everyday wear.
Anon 5:02 I am a full 34C (34D in victorias secret because you know, victorias) and the Free to Be Wild still works for me (not sure if thats busty or not lol). I got an 8 and it fits great without digging in but the lower cut does show some cleavage at the top when I wear a CRB. Its got a much lower cut in the front that say the Power Y/Energy/Stuff Your Bra so keep that in mind!
I'm busty and was able to try on the Free to be Wild bra...it does NOT work. The ladies were bubbling over and it just didn't fit right. Spend my hard earned $ on a bra that would suit me better and fit properly!
I went to Burlington on store yesterday and toothpastewas sold out in one day in my size. I did get striped one and only 42$ . I tthought they would be over 50$. The straps are a bit challenging to align properly but it is tts
Hi, this is not relevant to the post. I am a new LLL fan and I realised wearing a backpack causes piling in my LLL gear. This didn't happen for other brands which i am wearing. I carry a backpack when I hit the gym due to some postural problems. Anyone uses any particular backpack which won't cause this problem ?
Hello :) Just wanted to repost myself then. Thanx! So, my order has arrived. First time in weeks it will go back to the store fully. At least my husband will be happy, lol. First- coco pique vinyasa. I have mini pique check from last year and it is much thinner than that. Also, it is really not reversible. Even my herringbone with seams is reversible. So, it will go back. Second- anytime dress in stripes. I am in love with my heathered inkwell one, but found the color in inkwell is the best. Third- Bhakti jacket in violet. Color is beautiful, but compared to my bright blue from last year- thinner, scratchier, sleeves are too long, and something pulls weird across the chest when it is completely fastened. Fourth- BD pleated skirt. Great saturation of color, but the pleats are damaged by being packed at the factory. I do love my inkwell though- best skirt I own, for sure.
Love the FTBW. I wear them to run, dance and yoga. I'm a 32A so this bra totally works for me for everything. Can't wait for the new colors. I got rid of all of my regular FTBs and replaced with the FTBW
Any word on pricing for the merino wool scarf? I remember a super cozy scarf out last year that was over the $100 mark so guessing this will be that one for 2014?
I called all the New York and NJ Lulu stores and was told it's highly unlikely they will get the FTBW bras in ! wahhhhhhh!!!!! sososososososososo SAD!! If anyone is in the North East area and know this information is incorrect, please reply. Thank you
FTBW is a light support and lower cut bra just like the FTB. The differences are the back straps (more decoration than supportive) and the thinner horizontal band across the back. If you can't wear FTB without spilling out of it, the FTBW will be no different. If you can wear a FTB, sizing for the FTBW is the same.
Totally OT, but I got the Purple Fog CRB in the mail yesterday and the color goes beautifully with the Black/Cashew WAFS WUs from earlier this year. I'd been having trouble pairing the WUs because I just didn't think they looked great with the brighter colored tops and, until recently, would only wear them with a Cadet Blue Power Y Tank. Now I have the Bordeaux Drama Power Y and Purple Fog CRB to pair with them as well. Yay! Just thought I'd share in case anyone else had been having trouble pairing them as well (I don't care for black on mostly black.)
@Anon 4:21 PM, I tried on all of the Petal Camo pant versions: the Speed tight, the Inspire, and the Rebel Runner. EVERY ONE was SUPER THIN & SHEER. So they were all was an easy pass for me. Lulu will release new, equally beautiful prints in the future. No need to keep lesser-quality garments, IMHO.
I dont like ebayers at all! I'm in Canada, and saw tons of free to be bras in our store. If any of you want me to angel any just let me know as I pass there every another day, just price plus tax plus about five dollar shipping depends where you live. Tinawhite300 at gmail
Am I the only one not into the free to be wild? Sure it looks cool from the back but free to be bras just don't work for me and I'm only a b cup. I crossfit and they are not supportive enough.
Anon 10:21- I can confirm Union Square, Meatpacking, Soho did not get it in, a few eds had no idea it was coming back, one at soho said they were expecting it. I'll go into my local Brooklyn store tomorrow to see what they get...I'll probably get a few of each style because I hate that loyal customers can't get the stuff they want. ITS A SPORTS BRA! Anyway, I will angel domestically and internationally if anyone is in need. I am also doing a decent sized angel order from AUS if you're interested in anything from their gorgeous offerings down under...I love that in this scramble to patch the holes in Lulu's patchy distribution, lululoyalists are banding together and helping each other out! Feels like the sense of international community lulu preaches about but doesn't foster itself. Anyway, get at me if you need any angel-ing from NY/USA, or if you'd like to add to my AUS order and get discounted priority shipping. :-)

Also, anyone having funky experiences with US Warehouse Sale? I was disappointed in how it worked from a tech perspective and the arbitrarily dropping prices. Usually in that kind of sale, prices drop each day or a few hours before the sale's end. I'm going to try to get the difference back to me, even if its only in the form of merchandise credit [sigh]
I wish LLL would patrol also for the blatant bulk buy ebay resellers.
I was super interested in the anytime dress which came out 1 week ago in sizes 4-12 in inkwell and bordeaux on the Cdn side. Even though there had been almost zero pre-advertising of this dress (except for Brit's picks), this dress sold out within an hour in all sizes/colors (I missed out). THat same evening a Cdn ebay seller had 20!!!! of these dresses listed, all sizes, 2 of each, both colors. Do you think this person really made the on the spot judgement to buy close to $2000.00 of these dresses which had zero build up?? I suppose by advertising on the night of ordering, they can see if they sell or not, and return them if they dont sell? THis week, a black stripe version of the anytime dress was released (I bought one, loved the fit (TTS), although would have preferred the heathered inkwell from the week before in terms of color). The same ebay seller also scooped up another set of this weeks version, again for sale the same night of release in multiple sizes (the dress sold out again on the LLL site within a couple of hours). The seller even uses LLL pics on her site. Of course with the excahnge rate to US dollars (that even Cdn sellers charge), the price is almost twice what LLL was asking (and keeps rising as more people buy the dress from her). So aggravating.
@ anon 5:46 pm - the FTBW looks so cute but I found it as supportive as a string bikini top. I just could not do it. I jiggled just walking down the stairs in my house. However, I am a DD so not surprising. I have to make do with the Energy Bra as my bra with "interesting" straps, though I really like my Water Bound I got over the summer and the Bound bras that I bought at Sea Wheeze.I can actually run in the Bound bra.
@Alejandra - please post here if you are successful in getting merchandise credit from the warehouse sale. I too was a bit miffed but not enough to do anything about it because I just generally think LLL is a crappy company with regard to pricing, markdowns, return policy, general business practices and the like. I seriously think two weeks for a return is unrealistic. We work, we are mothers, caregivers, etc. and two weeks is just not enough time sometimes.
I could have saved over $40 if I had waited on certain items. Not too mention I would have just bought more merchandise with the money I saved so LLL somewhat shoots themselves in the foot by lowering prices so randomly.
Blogger Alejandra S Anon 10:21- THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR REPLYING. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT. FINGERS CROSSED THEY COME TO NYC OR NJ. I LOVE THOSE BRAS. I am a C cup but they work for casual wearing. FTBW ARE SO DAMN CUTE! I will check with the stores this week and next. You're so sweet! Thank you again.
Thanks Anon 11:54 AM! I might get another FTBW now. Figuring though that since they released it again, more patterns are coming?
I'm light busted so this bra works for me even for running. I wear it mainly to hot yoga.
lol I don't really need another bra though. I have a number of them and I did purchase 3 Easy Breath bras this year, which is now by far my favourite LLL bra.
Hi guys! I just wanted to chip in with regards to what I know and read about price adjustments for the warehouse sale ... chances are very good that you will not be getting them. I was very fortunate that most of the items I purchased were sold out before they could be reduced in price. Out of 12 items, the only item that I bought that made it to further markdown was the Alight halter, which went from $34 to $24. However, I noticed I ordered the wrong size in a tank and chatted with GEC about it. Unfortunately, due to the clear disclaimer, there was nothing they would do. I totally understood. Luckily, the tank is just a tad big and was only $19.
Additionally, they had it clear as day on the website that they would not offer price adjustments on previously purchased merchandise in the case of price drops. It really was a gamble. I lucked out and snagged the To Class jacket for $34 on Friday morning, but I know some people paid $69 and are very miffed about it. I have no words of comfort, because I would be a bit ticked, too. :(
I got my warehouse sale order Friday and so far, I love every single item and am thankful to have had the opportunity to snag these items for such a good deal. I can't wait to see my To Class jacket as well.
Havent gone through the comments to see if it's been mentioned, but the new Merino wool scarf (that big old giant one) will retail at $128, IIRC. Yikes.
the free to be or the free to be wild do not work for natural breast size 34D and higher. If you want to look like you work at hooters or a strip joint in your gym, go for it. I looked obscene in that bra. all the lucky ladies who are smaller busted look great in that bra.
I size up for the free to be wild bra. I'm usually a 4 in the free to be but in the wild bra, it makes me look like I have back fat in between the straps so a 6 fits perfectly.

That healthy heart pullover looks yummy!
WMTM in the US has been updated at some point today. Bunch of new stuff added that was just released.
Can anyone tell me from experience, can that Free to Be Wild bra be worn if you're busty or is it a no-go?
is the free to be wild fitting the same as your normal free to be? thanks
To anon 4:21, I returned the petal camo inspires, they were the sheerest crops I've ever tried. I also tried the tights in store super sheer too :-(
OT: I got my plaid WUP irderbtoday, they are nice and thick, not sheer, and the lines are not twisted like the ones in the model. Keepers!!

when is the FTBW bra coming up online???
OT --Did you score anything from the warehouse sale? I got a lot of men's stuff for my hubby...lucky him but not so lucky me. ;)
LLA, I was the one who asked about Lulu chat groups. Do you mind giving me the urls? Thank you for all your hard work!
@Anon 5:02 I have the FTBW in a size 8, im a 34DD. My boobs definitely bubble over the top, I have to keep adjusting and then it looks fine. It works for me though. Also curious about FTBW for busty ladies...is it do-able?
has anyone seen an anytime dress in a canadian store?

Oh, and btw, it appears there's at least 2 patterned versions that will be available, in addition to the solid black:
1-Rocky Road body with Toothpaste straps
2-Tonka stripe black/ghost with Rocky Road straps
A simple search on the ebay site shows these variations.
UGH re: ebay sellers!
