I just received my angel order from the seawheeze merchandise uploaded to Australia. I am in LOVE with all of the items I got. It is a petty thing to be excited about as god knows I don't need anymore lulu, but it is so nice of people to step out of their way to help others like that. Thanks for the blog or I would have never been able to ask anyone!!!!!!

stopped by my store yesterday for a return and left with the coco pique bhakti jacket AND the coco pique race your pace LS. i was one of those people who couldn't decide between coco and black grape bhakti jackets, and i loved the black grape, but since i have a bordeaux i decided to resist the solid color. i got the coco bhakti in the same size as i have in the bordeaux (8) - 8 is a little loose but 6 is too tight (especially in the arms) to wear with anything but a tank. had to try on the coco pique RYP and couldn't leave it in the store.
black grape is so nice - very deep. i forgot to look at the color code on that and on the roll down WUP in black grape, but i looked at a pair of track to reality pants and the color code was black swan, so i think they are recycling some stuff.
black grape roll down WUP were opaque, decently compressive, and i would have gotten my size down size 6 (didn't try on the 8 and didn't buy the pants - had just bought some striped chatauranga tights from athleta so decided to control myself).
OOOO Lolo purple is my favorite of all time!!! I hope they bring it back!!! I do although love Black Swan too - which is identical to the current Black Grape.

Winter pant stock up: The jacquard WU coal/black are the best lll tights I have ever ordered. Thick, soft, flattering. Also keeping the coal pique and reversible fuel green WUP/WUC (both made in Canada!, important for me), also nice coverage/quality. Speed tights in brushed black, really thick/flattering/compressive.
Fails - Heathered Black turn around - unflattering, thin (they are soft though!); Green pique - vertical direction to fabric, way thinner than black coco pique.
And...
Heart Heatlhy in pique is nice/soft, but huge. I ordered my size down, still too balloony, not slim fitting at all. Think it is just not suited to my shape. Too bad because I love the collar detail. Had also ordered the black, but returning for same reasons... (also the black smelled weird - very off-putting chemical smell - do you notice this with some of the synthetic fabrics of lulu?).
I don't get it, is Black Swan the SAME as Black Grape or are they 2 different colors? I saw some posts it is the same color but renamed? But I don't think they look identical from pics I've seen. I love black swan but I see Black Grape being more purple and I don't like that. Anyone know?
Black swan is black grape. When black swan first came out, there were a lot of complaints that it wasn't black (or navy! Not sure how people think it's dark blue since the heathered black swan/grape is clearly purple!). I think Lulu just changed it to make it more clear that the color is purple. I've bought some new pieces in the black grape colorway and they are identical to black swan items from years past (even the hang tags give the color code as black swan even though online it's listed as black grape).
I own both Black Swan and Black Grape. They are not the same color. Black Grape is slightly less saturated than Blk Swan. It also has a touch more red in it - making it lean towards purple vs. blue, if that makes any sense.
Both are beautiful.

I thought so. @4:52 They looked different to me as well. I have a NLT in Black Swan.
Black swan to me looks like deep blue navy eggplant purple.
Black grape is more blueberry purple. Way lighter so it looks more purplish.

OK, so one of my 3 black grape items came this afternoon - WUP. The tag, as someone else pointed out I think, clearly reads BSWN. WTF? Must be one heck of a job to keep that inventory straight!
The WUP is definitely redder (more purple) than my black swan CRB...looks like black grape to me. Hmmm. Guess I better be careful when I buy stuff that says black swan or black grape.
the purple Rebel runner crops arrived smelling terrible. even after washing. but I let them hang and they aired out after a couple days. weird. that hasn't happened before
