Cute! Can't wait to see what Lulu puts out this holiday season! They seem to be doing a good job of listening to consumers I think.
On another note - have you felt the coco pique this year? I bought the WU Pants in the black coco but they seem thin. If you've compared from last year what are your thoughts? Thanks!
My coco piques from last year feel brushed. This year's cp less so. In a way, that's a good thing as it will be wearable 6-9 months out of the year. My last year's brushed cp's are worn Nov thru Feb 4 months. I live in the Bay Area (SF).
OK. I just took a break and took out my last years cp and compared to this years cp which I just bought as an xmas present for my 13 y.o. god daughter. I used a strong magnifying glass. At 1st I thought maybe the yarn was finer on this year's b/c it felt slightly lighted/thinner, but the yarns and stitch count looked identical to me under the magnifying glass. The one big visible difference was the nap from the brushing. It looked visibly different - brushed/teased, slightly fluffy for lack of a better word. If you look at the pattern this year, it looks slightly cleaner/clearer/more distinct, where last year's looks slightly blurry. I think that's due to the way the fabric was finished.

Both coco pique and less so herringbone are thinner this year in comparison to last year((

Just my 2 cents for what it is worth.
i tried on the Coco Piques this year and found them somewhat sheer. it wasn't totally terrible, but it was enough for me to not buy them.
