The Coco Pique Race Your Pace Half Zip. It looks really sharp on this woman. Has anyone tried it on? Are the forearm seams scratchy like on the other colors?
The Diamond Jacquard Black Deep Coal Space Dye Wunder Under Pants. Mine came today and they are great - thick, compressive, warm, and opaque. They are as equally nice as my black herringbone and coco pique Wunder Under Pants. It's shown with the Twist N Turn Tank.

Yes I tried it on and sent it back the arms are scratchy :(
I love the look of the Race Your Paces, but I think the quality is so poor. I reluctantly had to return my mauve. I might crack and get the coco one, however. I keep hoping that LL will cut the price from 98 to 89 because it seems like they're not selling out and the reviews haven't been that great. I'm guessing they won't get marked down any time soon, but I'm watching for it!
RYP 1/2 zip looks great in all the versions but so not worth the price given the poor interior quality and discomfort.
I really like my coco pique RYP half zip but it does have very scratchy seams. I am so annoyed by that. Hate returning it and i'm not sure if I will enjoy wearing it. Even wearing it for 5 min is really irritating. Yesterday I wore my last years rulu shirt and it feels so nice and soft. Coco pique is not the same great quality. Bummer, because I really like tje look of it.
OT LLA, do you think there will be Diamond Jackuard Black Deep Coal WUP will come in roll down? I really like these pants but I wish they had roll down waist. I don't know if I should wait a few weeks. I want to start wearing them right away.
I went to the store specifically to purchase this pullover because I like the complimentary shape of the contrasting fabrics...however it didn't look nearly as nice as the model shot, and even in these photos you can't really see the curved shape on the sides (imo). Maybe because I have a shorter torso than the 5'10" model? (135lb, 5'4" sz 8)
I was so disappointed with how it looked I didn't even notice the seams. I may go back and try on the green, if it's still there in my size.
I just can't justify those diamond jacquard WUPs when I already have the herringbone. I feel like they are (from a distance) the same color and just don't need both.
I ordered the diamond jacquard forme and I like the material but it will be going back for the same issue I sent back the coco pique forme. My regular size doesn't hug the curves like my other formes do, it's loose in all the wrong places. Size down is better in the body but tight in the shoulders. I was thinking that maybe they changed the sizing, but the rocky road forme fits perfectly.
I want to try that black/coco pique half zip in person. But, for some reason, I always end up selling my half zips, just don't wear them, even with best intentions. If given the choice between a forme and a half zip I always grab the forme.
Is twist and turn same as our vita racer?
Lots of coco pique Vinyasa scarves in Calgary stores today. I thought the Coco 1/2 zip was so thin in the front, not flattering. I like the Forme better.
I tried on the black coco pique RFYL half zip and it looked so nice on!!! But all the seams scratchy!! So I left it at the store. I went back the next day and bought the darn thing!!!!! It just looked so good on me! However, I'm mad at myself for accepting sub standard quality at that price!! This whole love-hate relationship I have with lulu...... Unhealthy!!!! Lol!!!! As I said, all seams are very uncomfortable and the pique fabric is starting to ball and fray. Very poor quality, but damn I look good!!!!! :-(
I took the tags off and wore my Coco Pique Race Your Pace Half Zip for the 1st time this morning. I wore it over a power Y. Had it on for 3 plus hours. I did not experience any issues with seams or zipper.
@ anon 2:52 pm - thanks! Although, now that tempts me to get one.
I bought the Coco pique 1/2 zip RYP and I have the Coco pique RYP LS top too. I don't have issues with either seam wise (not scratchy to me and I would consider myself sensitive-skin type), but I do agree the black on the 1/2 zip is thinner than I would like. I kept both tops though! I actually preferred the RYP 1/2 zip to the Bhakti coco pique on.
Thanks Anon Oct 25 @1:57 for the heads up on the Vinyasas. I've been waiting for those!
I too bought the RYP 1/2 zip in the Black coco pique contrast..I love the look and think it looks great on..I have not noticed the seam issue at all, maybe I overlooked because I love the look so much :)
I also bought the RYP LS in the coco pique, love this too and I purchased my first Bhatki Jacket in coco pique..I think I have a coco pique obsession , LOL
@lulu - the seam problem is mostly where the reflective strip is sewn in along the forearm. People also had a problem with the zipper chafing their chest because it wasn't sewn in very well. It could be they fixed these problems in these later colors.
@lulu - about a coco pique problem. I had asked in my facebook group whether I really needed a coco pique forme because I had coco pique WUPS and a Vinyasa and everyone who responded pretty much said you can never have too much coco pique, lol.
Thanks 1:57 PM, maybe Ontario will finally get some of those in store.
1/2 zips are amazing for running, cool down/open, warm up/zip up. The RYP 1/2 zip has some winning points, but is overall substandard and not worth it. ALL the colour versions look great and I really wanted to keep the one I bought. But I'm glad I took my mauve stripe one back and won't settle for the substandard quality. All of my past LLL half zips are great quality and non-problematic when it comes to performance.
I was also happy that 2 weeks after I took it back, I scored last year's Base Runner 1/2 zip from wmtm. I could never have anticipated that and would have kicked myself if I had hung onto the RYP 1/2.
