Are Runder Unders Coming Back? (Update - Nope!)

UPDATE - These pants are older. :' (

A hat tip to Lulumum for noticing the zipper in the back of these pique bottoms.  A back zip pocket makes me speculate these might be a return of the Runder Under tights. I recall them coming out in Herringbone before but not pique. I guess we'll find out. They were very popular and a big favorite with cold weather runners when they came out a couple of years ago.

Update - I played with the contrast so we could get a good idea of the zipper pocket. They do look similar to the waistband of the Runder Unders.

2nd Update - Reader Lindsay says Runder Unders did come out in pique so there is a chance these might be older pants and not something new. :( But I'm crossing my fingers they are new.

I have the herringbone, I've also owned the pique ones! So yes they did come out in pique :)

Ooh! Thanks! I was digging around my blog and google trying to find photos of pique ones. Do these look like your pique ones? I hate to get people excited if she is wearing old pants in this photo.

Question- is anyone experiencing shipment delays?! I live in Utah and normal turnaround time from Tuesday ordering is two or three days (I usually get my order by Thurs, or Fri at the latest). It's Sat night and no order. Grrr. Anyone know what's up?

I love my Runder Unders! I have the black reverse to heathered grey version. I would definitely be interested in another pair. I'm in Ontario and I run in all seasons...except last winter not so much, we had the longest winter ever and it was always icy! Going to hot yoga more saved me!

Can anyone speak to when the store eds model clothes, are they generally discouraged from sporting older items with new items? I know sometimes they do and it causes confusion.

I have the herringbone ones from the first release and they are great for winter. Somehow they are both warm and cool enough not to overheat me if the temp rises a little. The only thing negative about them is that they do cause camel toe for me which is never a problem for me with running tights. I still love them but I do have to adjust them. Maybe if there is a second release they will have fixed that issue.

Off topic from this post but can anyone comment on the Ebb&Flow Racerback? NOT the Ebb to Street (confusing I know). It's not on the site in new colors yet but Bumble Berry, some blue, and black are out in stores. But it was out before in other colors in previous seasons. It seems super comfortable but was just looking for some feedback before I ripped the tags off.

@ anon 6:52 am - I don't own it but I tried it on last week. It seemed really comfortable and came up higher in the armpit than the Ebb to Street Racerback, of which I own three. Those show too much armpit fat for me. Also, the material in the body seemed a bit thinner than the Ebb to Street. I get a little hot in the Ebb to Street when I wear it for cardio in the gym. However, I would be also interested in hearing from someone who owns it. My Ebb to Streets tend to bag out with wear and I wonder if the Ebb and Flow will do the same thing. The material has a different pattern in the knit, more like the crops, so I'm hoping it does not.

Thanks for the feedback on the ebb and flow racerback LLA! I liked that the material seemed thin in comparison since I live in a warm climate. I guess I wouldn't mind so much if it did bag out a bit while wearing. They seem to fit tighter than CRBs anyway.

@ AmyT - I ordered right at upload last Tuesday 23rd and my shipment is scheduled to arrive on Friday Oct 3rd!! (Shipping from new Ohio center to west coast, CA). Ugh. I hate to bitch about free shipping, but seriously, 10 full days to get here?!

I have the Runder Under Herringbones too and agree that they have bad CT and are kind of thin (although super soft). Might be good for runners but I like something thicker for winter as I wear these for everyday wear around town.

my order didn't ship Wednesday morning, from Tuesday night order, like it always does. I finally emailed them and without explanation they said the order was shipping. that was Friday at noon eastern. so my overnight that should have arrived Thursday, is now arriving Monday.

I would love for the Runder Unders to come back, but those do look a lot like the pique version with the pocket from 2012, so I am dubious.

@ anon 1:13 pm - I checked back on the store site and they said they were old product. :( Hopefully, lululemon will note the excitement about a potential return and bring them back.

@ Lake'n'MountainLover- What the hell? Oct 3rd? I'm just hoping to get my order tomorrow or Tues, before the next upload so I know if I have returns and "need" to look for something else. So annoying. Do you know where our orders would ship from before this Ohio BS?

I'm in Toronto, ON. My last Tuesday order will hopefully arrive Thursday. I had to ask Lululemon three days after the order if they intend to ship it. I guess they are busy and that's when slip-ups happen. Normally it takes a full seven days to get my orders shipped, via Richmond, B.C., and Winnipeg, Manitoba. 10 days within North America sounds a bit too long for me, especially if shipping was faster before. But, as someone said, it's free...

lulu shipping is all over the place. I had ordered 2 items the power up thank and the stuff your bra tank from WMTM. the power up shipped from Ohio and arrived in 2 days to NYC.
The stuff your bra took over a week and came from Washington.
