Nooo… the stash it tank with the skirt is a sloppy look.
I'm really itching to get a CRB in Bumble Berry (please appear), Blue Calm, Heathered Bordeaux Drama, or Inkwell, or in the ghostly flowery print if it ever comes out. Good set of basics that will set me back till Christmas, but I'll be super happy.
Thanks for your efforts for posting up all these photos. Greatly appreciate it :)
I'm confused by the love for the miss misty pullover. I wanted to love it so hard! However.......I'm a petite size 4 and even on sizing up I was struggling to get it over my head and down my body without putting a shoulder out. No thumb holes!? Felt like I was wearing a plastic bag that would make me sweat big time. It could hav been so good if only they'd added thumb holes and something that stretched and breathed running under the arm to the cuff. Had the same conversation with an ed today. Soooo close but so far. Wanted to love it:(
No vests in US or Canada yet, right?
I cannot wait for my two pleat to street skirts to come, hopefully, today!
Does anyone know if the Sweater Life is going to be uploaded in the US? Or did I miss it?
I totally agree on the Miss Misty Pullover @11:49 PM
I wanted to love it so much I took one home to re-evaluate..put it on again..my tts is a 10 so therefore couldn't even try an upsize as no 12 in the states :(
The shoulders are tight on my and the hip area is narrow..even pulling up and cinching as some photos show looks awkward especially where the pocket zippers are positioned they basically start under the boobs at a slant...it's really all wrong. I had it on for a few minutes at home and began to sweat in a heavily air conditioned environment..plastic bag is a great analogy. Just not sure whats going on with quality and lulu especially with their sizing issues!!
I am a little torn- I got myself a pair of the inky speeds (in store so picked my colour placement). I haven't pulled the tags off them yet because when I see them off me, I have doubts - the yellow parts, the bumbleberry is a little too pink... but, when I put them on, I love them. I don't see the yellow at all and everything just works. I then see them in photos with the red tops and and I think that is my problem - imo they look so much better with just a plain white or navy, the bumbleberry makes everything a little too vibrant (not a bad thing for everyone of course :) ) - I am pale and they actually suit my colouring which is great.
man, i really love that pleat to street skirt! why oh why doesn't lulu release all skirts in Tall as well? hoping some ladies will post what it's like once they get them in hand!! thanks lla, for all the work you do in culling these great pics for us!!
Anon 6:25 AM, you didn't miss the
Sweater Life upload as far as I know (I want one too and was there right on time for both uploads, looking for it). It just SEEMS like it, because for the past two weeks, that sweater has appeared in the Tops banner, even though, you know, we can't actually buy one. (What is UP with that?!?)
Please don't get offended my lady friends, but I personally don't find any of this flattering..at all. Typically you will see some unfortunate looking combos on the models here and there, but overall, this stuff looks like garbage. I'm not a super thin chick, and no way does any of this look attractive except on the skinny girl. I want to wear things that are flattering and I'm so disgusted with Lulu because they keep pumping out this garbage. I know the educators will chime in and tell me how wrong I am...ha
I agree - I hate the Wrapper Delight and Stash It tank. I would love to see something simple like the Zoom Singlet come back.
The pleat to street skirt looked awful on. The seams don't line up on the side. Thr right side of the skirt puckers from the front and the left side puckers from the back. This make the sides luck lumpy and not smooth. I wanted to love it. I wouldn't have even bought it on WMTM. Even the educator looked at me in horror when she saw how flawed the skirt was. The models on the website press their arms into the sides of the skirt so the flaws are hidden.
I just got back from my nearest store, after checking out all the new stuff, I tried on the new Wrapper Delight Tank in both size 4 and 6 (normally size 4 sometimes a 6, for reference 5foot 2inches, 32E 24"waist, 37"hips) the size 6 was best in the bust (gave me a little bit more coverage while still fitting well under bust area), it flowed quite nicely down from bust to bottom and looked quite nice on especially from the back, the only thing I'm not to sure about is that I find it a just a little long at the front (maybe because I'm shorter upper body/longer lower body) and for that reason I didn't go ahead and buy it tonight but definitely will be reconsidering as it is quite nice other than that (it's only a minor issue for me). Tried both the Bumble Berry and the Black with white floral print(plush petal?), loved both colours but if I had to choose just one the Black/white floral would be it, as it is very pretty.
@Anon 4:56 pm, do you mind my asking what size(s) you tried on in the Pleat to Street Skirt?
TIA
I recognize the Pleat to Street shots of the model with the bouncy dark hair & the Two Times A Yogi bag - they're all from Lulu Shopa at Canal Place, New Orleans, LA :)
