Wanderlust Lust!!! (Updated Again)

Special Edition Wanderlust Wunder Under Crops/Pants

Colored Wunder Unders

Wanderlust Bra - super cute!!

D'Om Wrap.

Vitasea Wanderlust Tanks.

Bag and headbands.

Lululemon's Wanderlust D'Om store

A very big thank you to Miss C. for sharing her Wanderlust photos with us. On the one hand, I am glad to see lululemon has talented designers coming out with fun prints and cute designs. On the other hand, I am a bit miffed that the main line has been left to twist in the wind for the past couple of months with a lot junk designs and repeats of core items/colors. I totally understand catering to who made the brand - hardcore yogis - but darn, get the Wanderlust design crew working on the main product line stat.

UPDATE: A few more photos of the merchandise - thanks to Ms. D. I am reading all the print Wunder Unders are gone now.

Hey, lululemon, how about you release these to North America/the world but with the regular lululemon logo, like you do with Sea Wheeze merchandise in Australia? They would sell in an instant.

UPDATE #2 - A few more photos from Ms. C.:

My thoughts exactly. Get these designers on board! I saw more products that I liked in this post than the past couple months combined! Hoping the SeaWheeze products are as awesome as these!

I went to Wanderlust in my local town (Philly) last year and there wasn't any LuLu merch avail to buy. Is this a new thing? Only select cities?

Agreed, LLA! I. Want. All. Of. That. ASAP.

@ anon 12:12pm - According to the lululemon website blog post it's kind of new and they intend to product special edition things for the Wanderlust festivals from now on.

@ anon 12:17 pm - It's a big yoga festival held all over the US and in Canada. Their website is www.wanderlust.com.

If anyone has a picture (other than lulu's) of the wander onesie, I'd love to see it! I've been looking for a yoga one-piece for a while.

I feel like if I see one more boring thing in black, gray, white, or barely colored pastels, I'm going to gag. I can get that stuff anywhere, including their so-called "edgy" designs. WMTM is full of those neutrals and pale pastels, which should be telling someone at LLL something. Allow me to join the chorus of how annoying it is to see attractive stuff that like 99% of LLL's customers won't have access to. I really don't understand this company any more.

These things are the only exciting items I've seen from this company in probably a year. They're unique and fresh, and I'd buy them. LLL needs to step up their mainline game with these types of items.

I like the wanderlust tanks, but why are the hemming tacks in a different color? seems a little tacky.

Ahh I would be all over that bra in an instant if they sold it online. In other news WMTM is up in the US and I noticed some of the newer bras are ALREADY up there. So yeah I totally agree with everyone that says LLL should take notice of what people are really wanting and step it up!

I agree the blah colors (it's summer!!) have been way overdone. I like black, cadet, and gray, but the majority of summer pieces should be in bright, rich, fun colors for summer.

I got my jeweled magenta WAFS tank today, and I'm kind of meh about it, and I normally love space dye. It's thick and soft, don't get me wrong, but the gray that's mixed in tones it down a lot...it may be going back. Also received the cadet Noir dress today, in my CRB size 6. It's a keeper, I really like it, though I feel it was priced too high and should've been offered in more interesting colors than just cadet and black. Seeing as how it's sold out, I guess the color choices didn't hurt sales, but still.

Anyway, here's hoping Lulu will listen to their customers and raise the bar.

I agree that the print for the Wanderlust WU in particular is cool and pretty. I'm a hardcore yogi and I love design, but I'm so glad I am past this type of thing. Yes I have my share of LLL clothes because the technical quality of the clothes matters to me. But I no longer "gotta have" and/or obsess over these items, special or otherwise. I'm happy to stop feeding that retail monster.

None of this appeals to me at all. I don't like the dark colors, the multi paint splatter, the tribal looking print. This look can be had with other brands, and it seems dated and inexpensive looking to me. The shape of the bra is cute, but I would never wear that print.

If lulu goes in this direction for the main product line, I won't be purchasing much. I hope they will make things like this for those of you that want them. I would prefer something more feminine and less trendy, so hopefully that will be available too!

Thanks for posting all the pink swiftly techs! The comparison made me realized I should have gotten the vintage pink which was such a pretty shade!

I'm still waiting for my m WAFS CRB, would you say it's similar to the WAFS Cadet CRB in fabric?

While I think the Wanderlust WUCs are cute, I do think other brands offering prints are doing a pretty good job as well. Teekis are fantastic for hot yoga.

I agree that I am really bored with the neutral color palette that there is right now and would have really liked to have seen some more vibrant colors for summer. I am hoping that the Seawheeze items are more exciting but we will see!

sigh....makes me sick...smh

The Wanderlust patterns here don't appeal to me at all.

I would like to see some different colors for summer but it makes me think back to last year where they did fairly bright colors - mostly primary colors - red - orange - yellow - and they were not that big of a hit. It would have been nice if they had gone for more brights but not necessarily neon brights - pinks, turquoise, purple, etc.

At last some freshness to their designs and please let's extrapolate this freshness to the regular line as the current one is uninspired and not making me want to part with my $$$....

I agree with you LLA!! Why offer these really awesome designs that make LLL worth the price and set the brand apart from the rest? AND thanks for the pink comparisons, love your blog!

Wow all of that is GORGEOUS. I have a pair of Teeki pants coming in the mail, very cool print, fingers crossed it will take the place of Lululemon for me.

I love LL still, but I am looking more and more to other brands like Mika and Onzie to fill my lovely prints needs. Mika yogawear right now has some awesome printed capris and full length and while a different fabric, in tribal like pink etc, I do love them as much as my LL stuff, and right now they are more fun. Seeing the wanderlust things that I am not able to get just makes me go and check my other favourite brands to see the fun prints I can actually buy...

@ anon 7:24 pm - I'd say the new Magenta WAFS CRB feels similar in softness and thickness to the Cadet WAFS CRB.

I don't like the pattern over the splash colorful background. also those color remind me of something you'd wear in New Mexico only.
It's kind of 80's new age, but I guess that works for a yoga festival.

The logo is cool.

It would have been nice if you had asked to use my photos before posting them on your blog. Feel free to keep them up, but I didn't realize you post peoples photos from fb without asking beforehand.
