NEW! Great Granite Inspires, Bring Back the Track Jacket, Pace Setter Skirt, CRB, and More

Inspire Crops in the new Great Granite print. I like these but am wondering what other color to pair them with other than black.

Great Granite Cool Racerback. I think I want this.

Great Granite Bring Back the Track Jacket.

Shown are Weightless Crew, Great Granite Bring Back the Track Jacket and I think that is also a solid Black Bring Back the Track Jacket.

Flowabunga Bring Back the Track jacket.

Great Granite Pace Setter Skirt.

The outer material looks ribbed.

Great Granite Scubas in two flavors.

Run for Fun crops in Camo and Bruised Berry hyperstripe. Also shown is the Weightless Crew, BFT, and Bring Back the Track Jacket.

Weightless Crew ($78) and Run Times Shorts.

PS - The upload day has changed to Tuesdays now. The time is the same, though - 4:15 pm PST.

I am in two minds about the granite print... I just tried on granite in both a crb and speeds, and off my body - I love the print. But on my body... I don't know, I think it won't work with everyone's skin tone, I don't think it worked on mine. Pairing it with a dark block colour (bruised berry, dark red, etc) though would look great... If it dies come out in the run for fun crop, I think I'll get it (better fit for me than the other run crops) as the larger block of granite looks great but better on the lower part of my body, as I am quite busty it just accentuated that in the crb. Anyway, that's my 2 cents :)

Did the upload time change again? I don't see anything up on the Canadian site yet!

@ anon 4:44 pm - I really like the look of the granite in the photos but I have not seen it in real life yet. Tan is also a tough color for me to pull off. Right now my wish list consists of the Inspires, CRB, and print Scuba but I need to see the print in person.

Woohoo!! I can't afford Alexander Wang's Balenciaga marble print stuff, and LLM's version comes close enough for me! I have great plans for the CRB.
Thanks for posting the pix.

OMGOSH I MUST HAVE THOSE BLACK CAMO RUN FOR FUN CROP! I am obsessed

Anonymous said...

I like the Great Granite print in the CRB or in touches like the lined hood of the scuba. I do NOT like it in the Bring Back the Track Jacket; it's too much and I would tire of it quickly.

I'll need to see it in person though as the material could be a turn off. It does remind me a bit of inkblot and I don't have inkblot in a CRB. I have way too many CRBs though so I won't be obsessing over getting it.

The Great Granite Inspires would like nice with a Pigment CRB. Mellow Lemon, Pop Orange, Light Flare. Surely a bright pink would work too.

I like the look of the granite print in all the pieces, however I think you could only pair it with black. MAYBE Angel wing. I will have to check it out in store. I hope it's there tomorrow, then I don't even need to bother with the upload. I didn't like it paired with the Opal tank.

Isn't the crb super polyestery?

Just bought the granite inspires. Love them! I'll wear them with serval of the recent Swiftly tank colors as well as my many black Lulu tops. My store had the Pacesetter skirt in this print too.

Did Lulu hire an interior designer for the year or something? What's with the petite fleur and now this? I don't want to look like a kitchen counter!

I was disappointed by the Lululemon changing the upload from today to tomorrow, but felt a lot better seeing the pics of the new clothes you posted. I'm not liking anything I've seen so far, but appreciate Lululemon coming up with new clothes and accessories like headbands, etc weekly.

Why hasn't the flowabunga print died yet? The granite print is ok, but I'm pretty sure that the tan would look horrible with my skin coloring. Easy pass.

How do the Run for Fun crops usually run? I have been waiting for a pair of crops with side pockets!

Anonymous said...

Wow....that's a lot of granite. What didn't they make with that pattern?? I guess they are hoping that it's a must have print since they put in on so many different items. It's not a must have print for me. Easy pass.

My two cents on Great Granite...

looked like a great concept...it's the execution I don't love. I'm not so sure the heavy contrast btwn the black and tan makes it so great when on the body. Also to someone above's point, it can be a tough color to wear. Especially if you are fair skinned, as I am. Washes me out.

Seems similar to the leopard/granite looking print from Spring that came in a gazillion styles - it's going to get a lot of use.

Ugh. Not for me. At least not from the photos.

Why are the Inspires so short now?? I tried them on again today at my store in a few of the new colours. Maybe the new all luxtreme doesn't stretch like the old? You can see it in all the pics. Makes the inspires look weird. Ugh. My favourite go to crops... ruined imo.

I went to my local Lulu today and bought the granite inspires, love them..Also got the bring back the track jacket in the flowabunga black/angel wing print..I know some don't care for this print but I love it...Tried on the granite scuba, I did love and may return for it but it's 90 here in Chicagoland so I could not pull the trigger. The bring back the track jacket is such a perfect weight and very comfortable, plus has a hood that can be hidden away. I also bought the CRB in the granite..really love this print too...I did try the run for fun crops on and these seem to have a lower rise than the run inspires do they didn't work for me.

anon 6:31.. Ha! I couldn't agree more

any tips on sizing on the run for funs? TTS?

I FINALLY received my Noir dress yesterday & was a bit disappointed. It's very formfitting (which I was expecting), but I don't like that you can see your bra straps ("regular" bra & other sports bras) at all times. Also, I could see the outline of the tiny bow on the front of my underwear through the material (both in my TTS & size-up). I still would have purchased the dress, but could not get over the bra strap issue. I love to show off my sports bras when wearing athletic clothing, not so much for "street" clothing (particularly a dress). In my opinion, it cheapens the look of the dress.

Also!
Ugh. Why did they change upload days?!?
Will the WMTM upload day be changed as well?

So is the lululemon print designer remodeling her kitchen or something?

LLA:

This is OT, but did you see that LLL is discontinuing the men's Game On Boxer? It's one of, if not the, best rated mens items from their line.

Instead, they're coming out with a new boxer that's shorter (uses less material) and doesn't use the technical Coolmax fabric (aka cheaper material and less of it). Of course, they're keeping the price the same at $24.

Pretty annoying that they're trying to fix what's not broken. Recreating popular items just so you can use cheaper materials and lower costs does NOT work. They should have learned from the "bad luon" experiment in 2013.

If great granite which looks more like marble had a bit more color to it I would be into it. The pacesetter skirt looks good in the pattern.

Run for fun crops seem great and TTS! just tried them on. I'm a 6 in inspires, dart & dash, speeds... 6 was perfect in RFF. rise seemed to be comparable to inspires. run a marathon crops were size up for me, just to give you more info. the top pocket edge in RFF seems to be a little looser than RaM crops, which kinda create a slight bulge, yuck, so RFF is better about that. pretty sure no rear zip pocket on RFF, can't believe I didn't note for sure either way but I was distracted by the cute ruching back there. didn't look for waistband pockets. bottom leg openings are ribbed ?luon.

It will be interesting to see the price of the Granite Inspires. The Savasana Camo Inspires just came back on-line in Canada - all sizes - and now they are $92. I bought them two weeks ago for $86. Interesting. I guess the re-stocked fast selling favorites also enjoy a PRICE INCREASE!

I like Great Granite but holy cow, lulu did not hold back on using that print on anything and everything! I normally don't go for those LS, looser-fitting tops, but I love that bruised berry version of the Weightless Crew. I might pull the trigger on that tonight.
My noir bra finally showed up today. I bought the angel wing. It's really pretty and fits well in my usual size 6 (excluding energy bras where I have had to do an 8 as of late). Two things though: definitely not for high-impact and very see-thru as I imagined AW would be in a bra. I could see the cup liners very easily through the front. I have no intention of wearing it alone so it's not really an issue for me.

Just came back from the store in White Plains at the Westchester. They had everything granite except for scubas. The background color of granite is definitely more like mojave tan than angel wing or a cream/white. I am middle eastern with olive coloring and I love the contrast, but it might be a bit too green on fair skin with pinkish undertones. I plan to pair it with black, grey, white, and a splash of hot pink (like a raspberry goo CRB). Got the inspires and the back to track jacket (I think it looks truest to actual color and best on the model with her hands on her hips). Material is great, very light and will carry me into fall here in New York. Also finally tried on a stride jacket, the luon is super buttery soft like the light grey forme jacket (which I love) and that jacket hasn't gotten any pilling.

The Run for Fun crops are TTS for me, a four, and I got them in savasana black camo (this i like this camo best because its subtle and pretty).

This store has plenty of Noir dresses in black and navy as well as some racerback dresses in larger sizes. Lots of markdowns on practice cotton pants, and crops.

the CRB isnt the polyester-y type that some prints come in. its luon.

I found the Run for Fun crops small. I have a pair from 2012 and also tried them on in 2013, and they run really narrow through the waist and calf. I'm a small size 4, and I had to size up to a 6. I'm really lean through the midsection too...They're not the best cut, at least for me.

I HATE GRANITE. Ha. There, I said it.
:D
I haven't bought anything LLL in like 2 months now. It's an all-time record!
(I did buy some crops and sports bras on Carbon38.com, some really cute stuff)

Changing the upload days is such a thumbs down. Why will I bother when all the items are in store today? My store got the granite WUC but no inspires or CRBs. They are luxtreme again which is thinner and shiney - neither of which I like (though I did keep my camos in this color). I wish the Bring back the Track jacket came in other solid colors. I don't mind the granite, BUT I think it can only be paired with black bottoms. I had to downsize in it. They had shorts (speeds & run times) and the Pace setter skirt in this pattern too.

noir dress restocked on canadian side

The granite print doesn't look very nice in person. White instead of tan might have looked a bit better.
I thought the tuck and flow l/s was dropping this week, but I went to two different stores and neither had it, or knew if it was dropping this week.

So I just got the run for fun in the camo... I LOVE THEM. I can't wear inspires as they are just that tiny bit too low in the hip for me, but these are wonderful. Let's see how they hold up in a run though, but if they stay where put, I'll be seeking them out in other colours.
I think though, for someone with shorter legs, the band at the bottom might cut into the calf a bit - they sit right at the top of my calf, which is perfect for me, but I am 5'8".

@stylistadiva...thank you for visiting your local Lululemon store today to see the new product.

Hoping those of us who don't have a local store to visit will have a shot at purchasing some of the new items from the website now that the upload has changed to Tuesday :)

@ 12:53 PM, thanks good to know.

Anon 3:24, are they TTS? They look really shiny in that action shot on the website, are they that shiny in real life? I ordered the all black ones because I was worried about the shine, but am really into the camo still...

heather said...

run for fun are tts. I tried on camo and they were tts at least.

heather said...

oh btw these were the full on luxtreme camo version. didn't try the other colors on.
