More Photos Than You Could Ever Want of the After Class Cardigan

Styled like this, the After Class Cardigan looks unobjectionable.

But then, the stores decided to style it...

Right side up, upside down, backwards -  these poor women try but they are not selling me this sweater.

When I first saw it uploaded - worn the normal way, I liked it. Now, I'm completely turned off. Was it designed on purpose with those 'bat wing' arms so that it could be worn upside down? Too messy and confusing, so I've written it off.

Maybe they should try it as a skirt. It might look better!

It's just.........awful....end of.

this looks like a cardigan I could get at Ross for $3 clearance.

Believe it or not, this is the first lifestlye piece that I've even been remotely interested in for some time. But I really only like the solid color one, and just worn in a basic way. I think the fabric is cotton so hopefully it won't have the cheap feel of some of the other sweaters. I think I'll give it a try- it has the possibility of being very cute...

It looks like a flimsy crappy quality cardigan to me...

They could have the Duchess of Cambridge herself wear this ugly sweater and I wouldn't buy it.

I can see this being on WMTM soon. Who wants to walk around looking like Darkwing Duck? Nope.

This is an unfortunate sweater. Not only is it not flattering to any of these beautiful ladies, it looks like a lot of work just to wear. Weird gaping at the buttons does not help it's case.

I'm not a fan of the bat wing arm. Why not re-release the universal wrap?? Talk about a fantastic sweater!

Bwah ha ha ha ha! WTF indeed!

OT but does anyone know whether the Shake & Break shorts have been discontinued or not? These are the only lulu shorts I have ever liked anywhere near enough to buy - and I don't just like them, I LOVE them! The cut and fit is so flattering and the waistband is ultra comfortable (5'7" 120 lbs Size 4). The pocket situation is great too (especially love the small zip pocket inside of the left hip pocket). And they don't give me diaper butt, which all other lulu shorts do. When they were still on the website I looked at the reviews and if I recall correctly they were very good. I wasn't too crazy about most of the colors these shorts came in (just got the plaid) but in hindsight wish I had bought more. Anyone know if we can expect to see these again anytime w/in the foreseeable future?

AND it's hand wash only.

Ah that's funny LLA, but I think you're being too hard on that sweater. I think some of the ways they styled it are cute. I mean I didn't go order it in all three colors because of these stylings, but it's not THAT bad. I'd consider it on MD though.

that last photo looks like the morning after a drinking binge.

@Macfrannie - I hate bat wing arms, too. My only and favorite sweater to date is the post practice cardi - nicely substantial and perfect for SoCal.

@Anon 8:16 am - hand wash? ugh.

@M - I know, lol.

Not only that, it's so sheer it's almost see-through, as shows up on the first photo of it in the gray color. Just what I want to keep me warm, a sweater so thin that the light shines through it.

No need to post anymore photos. Put it to rest with the onesie.

It's another shirt like the one Denise made for Theo!

I'm liking this one, I especially think it will be cute over the Nior dress. yes, in some of the photos it does look bad but it's all about the styling and how you wear it.

Hey Lululemon...guess what? When you wear this sweater upside down and backwards, it LOOKS upside down and backwards!

I'm with you LLA, it's definitely not for me, but I didn't think it was awful until they tried to sell it to me styled backwards. Sheesh. It's not important to me that a sweater be that versatile...sometimes a sweater can be JUST a sweater.

Eeeew, saw it in the store. I would pass it up in any store! Thin, and floppy. It also seems confusing!

Old navy.

exactly how I felt/feel. $$$ saved. Phew.

Terrible. You could not give me this sweater, I would never wear it. Putting it in your pet's bed might be appreciated - would be snuggly for a cat or dog. All of the images look as though the ladies got dressed in the dark. Even in the light though, there is no righting the disarray.

It's totally going to wmtm and MD a.s.a.p. They do that when they know they have a dud on their hands and this has instant MD written all over it.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, haha too funny.
