Black Camo Run for Fun Crops and More

So happy to see stores make outfits with the pieces that are designed to work with each other. In the top photo: 105F Singlet in Black, Free to Be bra in Tonka Stripe Mojave/Black/Jeweled Magenta, Great Granite Fly Away Tamer, and Great Granite Inspire Crops. In the second photo: Great Granite Cool Racerback and Cayman Stripe Black/Mojave Tan/Angel Wing Energy bra.

Great Granite Wunder Under crops, shown with a Black Seamlessly Covered Tank in the last two photos. I really like the crops in those photos.

Black Camo Run for Fun crops. Shown with a Jeweled Magenta 105F in the top two photos.

Black Bring Back the Track Jacket, Black Reflective Dot Speeds, and Jeweled Magenta Swiftly.

Jeweled Magenta Swiftly Tank and Great Granite Speed Shorts.

"For that I Got Dressed in the Dark look"! LOL! I do sometimes look like that, but not intentionally :)

I ordered the black camo Run for Funs but in the pics they look so shiny, I'm not totally sure about them... Thoughts?

why are the camo RFF crops so shiny...??? I know some of you have commented that you have purchased these, are they that shiny in real life?

whats up with this marketing? every week its similar, the cool weather pieces, experimental lines?
is lulu catering to the trendy "back to school" shopping crowd?
also the flooding of the very meh patterns lately? I would have probably bought a granite CRB if i wasnt sick of it already. flowabungas STILL coming at us.

@ anon 1:10 pm - I was thinking that they look awfully shiny, too. I know the fullux tends to have a sheen to them but these seem pretty shiny.

@K - I agree about the flooding of the prints. Where are the solid Jeweled Magenta pieces? I would love a cool racerback in that color.

I got myself the RFF in the black camo - yes, they are a bit shiny - but I think in person they aren't as shiny as they look in some of the photos. Personally they aren't too shiny for me, although I do vaguely remember pooh-poohing the lighter camo (fatigue?) in the luxtreme when it came out for being too shiny - perhaps to my eyes they look better in the darker colour?

Slightly OT - I thought, with the new upload, a couple of the Lab items looked familiar... very very similar to Nesh NYC, almost to a ridiculous point. I know inspiration for creative design comes from all over etc, but... a copy is a copy, even if you put a different symbol on it.

Got the Camo Run For Fun crops. They aren't shiny. Fit is perfect. Could be the lighting.

Wow I really, really do not care for the granite print. More for someone else I guess! :)

I saw the RFF black cameo in store today and thought that they were very shiny, they almost looked like pleather to my eye. I immediately put them down, didn't even try them on. The black camo material itself is different - I wanted an energy bra in black camo but it felt significantly thinner than the plain colour energy bras (white and black). I didn't compare the other print/pattern bras for feel though.

K, I agree 100 percent. Their summer offerings have missed the mark completely. I'm not sure what the strategy is, but it seems they've catered the new product line to the southern hemisphere crowd while alienating their most profitable customer base.
I don't want WUPs, forest green, ls rulu tops, and hot, itchy luxtreme bottoms. It's nearly triple digits at the beach in Socal. Give us fun bright colors, summer run gear, and please stop with the meeeeesh. It's tacky and fug no matter how you try to rename or brand it.

I had the chance to see the great granite print today. It looked downright horrible with my complexion (pink undertones, blond, blue eyes). It has a dingy yellowish colour paired with black that does not seem to come through in the pictures. It's sad, b/c I was hoping to buy a few items in this print.

Can anyone please tell me how close the 105F Singlet in Jeweled Magenta is to the previously released 105F Singlet in the Heathered Zing Pink Light? I missed Heathered Zing Pink Light but maybe Jeweled Magenta is a close match?

Love jeweled magenta!! Yuck on great granite!!

Yeah, the more I look at this Great Granite print, I think it's a pass, even the CRB. For me I think it will go the way of that tie die print from a couple of years ago (blue/white/pink). I liked it at first then realised how easily I became weary of it. I never bought anything in that print, thank goodness. Maybe just that touch of GG in that angel wing scuba hood, that's cool. But I don't need another scuba!

@ anon 5:37 pm - I tried it on today, too, and found the print dreary in person.

The Bring Back the Track Jacket in great granite and pretty much everything else in this patern looks like a perfect outfit for duck hunting or smth. Ugly and weird. It was bad enough with Floabanga, and now this granite? Sorry, I just had to vent a bit here. Can't take it anymore.

Does anyone know whether wmtm has changed to a different day/time? Or should it be the same?

I didn't like the great granite print when I first saw it, but it has grown on me, as an accent. I like it for the scuba hood interior and wouldn't mind it as a waistband on some speed shorts, but i think it looks terrible when used in large quantities such as entire pants or tops. My daughter thinks it looks like it's old and I see what she means, as the mojave tan looks like it possible used to be white, but turned yellow with age.

OT- Anyone know if they changed the day for the WMTM upload? I'm not seeing anything new loaded and it's 8:15 PST.

I suspect the granite print top will look nice on warm skin tones. The tie-dye swiftly tech will look great on cool skin tones.

Thanks for the post, the first few pics are great! The product is really elevated when styled properly.

How come we didn't get bombarded with prints that everyone loved? We got almost no products in beachscape and milkyway. We got a WUP, CRB, Scuba, and Groovy run shorts. There were a lot of Lulu-Addicts wanting speeds. I'm glad I snatched up the Groovy Run shorts because the Speeds never came...nor did the WUC. Milkyway was also popular yet we saw nothing but WUC and WUP. Platoon was also popular, but we didn't see speeds or anything else....just WUP and maybe WUC (I can't remember).

But no worries...if it is an obnoxious print, Lulu will over-print it to exhaustion. I find it funny that we thought Petite Fleur looked like granite and made jokes....and then Lululemon actually gave us granite. Guess the joke is on us?

Maybe the Great Granite print is a test for the true Lululemon fans who will wear anything Lulu no matter how fugly it is. LOL

Well I am among the minority because I love the Back to Track Jacket in granite. I ordered it when it was uploaded and then have been reading all the negative comments, so was having second thoughts. I love the hem and it looks like it hangs very nicely. Looking at the pictures today, I think I made the right move. I remember ordering the Ahead of the Curve Jacket back in 2011 and then reading all the negative comments on here about it looking like a duck tail, fug, etc. but you know that has been my favorite jacket of all times and I still receive compliments every time I wear it, even though it has faded with wear on the front. I think we have to remember that lululemon has a wide range of customers in age but also in sport and respect that. Personally, I am thrilled that they mix it up because we all have different tastes. I am in my mid fifties and there are not many places that my 20 year old daughter and I can shop together and both find things we absolutely love except lululemon. I do agree with the above comments regarding the milky way pattern. I would have loved to bought anything in that but it was gone on line before I got a chance. I really thought it may come back later but no such luck.

@Anonymous 8:33AM... Your statement is very unfair. I am not a fan of any of the recent floral and leaf prints we've seen and have abstained from all of them... just not for me. I do enjoy more abstract patterns like this granite print... not everyone has the same tastes and saying people will wear it just cause its lulu and "fugly" is really small-minded.

@1:45--I read the article you linked to, and wasn't really surprised. What's even odder is that I realized I don't really care if LLL *does* go out of business.

I saw the granite print in person today and I really like it. I got the pace setter skirt in that pattern and I immediately went on a run. the colors seem a little drab on the screen but in person they are quite nice,
I think granite will work well with a bright colored top like the magenta or a yellow color, even blue.
I agree with 10:21 and 10:46
