The way the collar is done on the Forme Jacket is so cheap. Unfinished/unattached at the top. It does not look nice when its open. The inside overall looks to unfinished. I don't have a define but I don't recall them looking like this (unfinished) on the inside. I have an In Stride (and many other LLL jackets) and they definitely have better finishing.
Meh... Not getting too excited for next week... Hoping for a good Britt's Picks!
Hmmm - may have to try the movement jacket. I'm not a Scuba person as I find them too thick and restricting, but the Movement looks more relaxed and I'm a sucker for b/w stripes - anyone have any reviews?
LOVE the BB 105!
I wonder if we'll get a crb in bruised berry (not heathered or wafs print, the full beautiful bb colour). It's such an easy win to me...bb is a great colour, make more core products in it.
LLA- did you see that YogaSmoga is opening stores? First in Greenwich, CT this summer, then Los Angeles. Thought it was interesting...I'm surprised!

Love the BB swiftlys!!
OT - I saw a men's collared metal vent tech SS at the store this week and they looked very nice. Would be a great gift for dad's who like to golf.
Ooh, love that grey striped Movement jacket!
Has anyone seen the hotty hot skirt in stores? I missed it online recently because I assumed it would show up at my local (Vancouver) but it hasn't yet... I'm hoping it isn't an online only? Cheers
Hotty hot shorts, finally something different I can get excited about! Hope they come in different colors...
Makes me sad how much less time I peruse the lulu collection responding mostly these days with "meh" or "maybe if it was $20 cheaper I'd pause to consider it," and how much more time im on nordstroms site "oooh"-ing over Zella pieces or some of the cute Onzie prints.
It takes some intense brand loyalty to pay nearly $90 for a plain racerback dress. Mines starting to fade.
hotty hot shorts and skirt seen in baltimore store yesterday
@10:30- I am anon 7:58...I don't work for Lulu. I was surprised because I didn't realize they had the awareness/supply chain, or frankly the capital to have brick and mortar stores. I (wrongly, obviously) thought they were still pretty grassroots start up.
I agree- I am happy to have choices. I am one of those people who hopped on the bandwagon back when all LLL was made in Canada and it was relatively unknown. In the last couple of years I've been wearing more Splits59, some Sweaty Betty (don't love it, although occasionally I'll find something I like), and a lot of Athleta. I'll definitely visit the new YS boutique!
I think Yogasmoga's claims that their products are made in the USA is misleading - the fabric is made in the USA, but the clothes are manufactured in Central and South America.
IMO unless YS has way more stuff coming down the pipes very soon, that will be one boring store. They have very little selection. Not hating - just stating the facts. I do have some of their stuff - don't mind it. It's not my first pick when I'm getting dressed. Their version of the CRB is more $$ than LLL.
So went to try the hotty hot skirt on - wanted so badly to love it, and I think if (like most people) WUC work on your body it will look fabulous, it just didn't sit right on my hips, sizing regardless - WUC are just a bit too short a rise, as was this. But, I did try the refresher racer dress. Yes, it is a plain black racerback dress. But oh it feels so good on! tts for my bottoms, completely opaque and was either smooth or ruched depending on what I wanted. Flatters curves - very very fitted though. It feels really solidly built. Time will tell how it wears of course, but I walked out with it.
@ anon 1:19 pm - lol, too true.
I discovered yogasmoga on here and have been disappointed in their product and service. They are definitely not replacing LLL for me. Another company might, but it's definitely not them.
Anon@2:47, I found the fit of the Hottie Hot skirt disappointing as well! I wanted to like it, but it was bad!
I just bought the B&W striped Movement jacket in the Vail, CO store yesterday and love it!! They had just received them in the store a couple days earlier and were almost sold out. I don't love the Scuba for the same reason listed above, to thick and restrictive. The movement is a great length, form fitting but not restrictive and the hood lining is great, looks luxurious when spread out. I'm between a 6 and an 8 in most Lulu, went with an 8 in this mainly because my 32G (natural:) girls need room to breath when they are encased in 2 sports bras.
agreed 1:19 but maybe it's a really small boutique. I have one pair of their crops in blue and grey and I actually like it quite a bit. I would buy more if they used materials similar to Luxtreme.
