Surge Push UR Limits and More

The Push UR Limits are finally hitting the stores - yay! I got mine last week and it seems to fit exactly the same as previous releases. I liked it but not sure I loved the Deep Zinfandel color since it doesn't really pop against black bottoms too much. I want to try on the other colors in this tank.

Base Layer Pant and LS. I am hoping to try on the pant today.

The Inkwell/Surge striped Base Layer LS.

Darn, the purple ear warmer is the $38 Fluff Off one. I just wanted a plain rulu one in purple, bummer. Also shown is the Fluff Off Pullover in Deep Zinfandel.

the markdown rack at the Union Square NYC store is pretty big too.
The unitard is marked down as well as a lot of other stuff that is not in the WMTM on the website.

I did a store visit in Georgetown last night.

Just some considerations....

I found the base runner LS to be reversible, even though it doesn't have the reflective logo.

The Fluff Out jackets and pullovers have pique/herringbone side panels, but the vest does not.

The striped surge/inkwell base runner long sleeve is NOT made of pique. It says it is Rulu, but it feels very thin....much thinner than my Star Runner pullover.

The fluff off vest in black has herringbone sleeves and the body actually looks like charcoal instead of black

I tried on the new vest. Figure-hugging, but no room for the girls at all! Be prepared to size up.

Need some advice, does anyone think the Fluffin Awesome Jacket or Fluff Off Jacket would be warm enough to wear as a winter coat in the Northeast? That's the only way I can justify the price! And which one of the two would be better? I love the colors in the newer coat, but the Fluffin Awesome has a hood.. Please help, I'm going to the store this weekend!

I picked up the PUL tank in Raspberry during last week's upload and it's awesome. They used the higher quality thick luxtreme, just like my Wish Blue Poncho Stripe, Faded Zap, Lolo Purple, and Angel Blue PULs from years past. Agree that the fit is the same for my usual size. For my shape (curvy, but slim) this is the most flattering workout tank out there. Love!

@12:18pm - I personally wouldn't wear the Fluff jackets as a primary winter coat (I live in NJ). It probably works for late fall/early winter but I don't think you would be warm enough in January/February/March. I wear a lighter down coat now (prob similar to the Fluff jackets but mine is by Patagonia) and then switch to a thick Canada Goose jacket when it's winter. But I like to be warm and toasty! Just my 2 cents - good luck!

Glad I'm not interested in the fluff stuff (and I could justify it where I live with our winter temperatures). That Fleecy Keen jacket is not great, imo. I think they're trying to reinvent the Run Bundle Up Jacket, which, why even try? Run Bundle Up is one of the best jackets they've ever made. So flattering and so functional. I applaud the designer that came up with that one.

Interested in a few too many items now (HC Skirt, Baserunner l/s, Surge CRB), but I'd really like to see the Cuddle Up Jacket come back this year...I'll likely want it.

@Katia, I think the Fluff Off jacket could be warm enough in the northeast winter, but not on super cold days. I plan on wearing mine with rulu tops underneath, but maybe not on days when its below 20-25 degrees. I just purchased one but have to wait until Christmas!

I keep thinking that the Made too much is stocked with new items on Tuesday, but is it Wed? I saw a bumnch of items today and now they are all sold out!!

I think that it depends how one deals with cold weather, I think that jacket with a warm sweater would work in the north east. I wear my marmot which is similar to the fluff off and stay warm until it hits the teens, but I have a good tolerance for extreme weather.

I felt the weight of the jacket today and it would never be warm enough for me in the northeast (philly) during winter. I would wear it if it were 40 or above but below that I have a super duper warm northface down jacket that covers my bum and goes to just above the knee. Plus the jacket it is short so it leaves too much exposed. Just my two cents and hope it helps!
