A better photo of the new Raspberry and Winter Orchid Ebb to Street Tanks that are in Australia. Hurry up and ship them here, lululemon! (Thanks to Ms. B. for the photo.)
I ordered the deep zinfandel In the Flow crops on Monday. They arrived yesterday and are really pretty. This is my first time trying them on and I'm really not happy with the fit. They are comfy, but the waistband is not substantial and just standing around in them the waistband was rolling down. BOO!!!
I went to the store to return them today and tried to find something else, but no luck.
Totally random but yesterday was the grand opening of the new store in Pleasanton, CA and I FINALLY got the angel wing hyper stripe vinyasa! It's been sold out everywhere! Also got the pique form and was surprised I liked it so much! So excited to wear them!
OT anybody ever returned a swiftly with a hole in it?
it's not new (power purple chevron long sleeve) but i am really careful with my swiftlys and it seems wrong that it should have a gash in it. it's had snags before but i figure those are my fault.
Beautiful Baroque Zinfandel Forme - very polyester feel, shiny. The print is really 'Beautiful' but I couldn't get past the zipper and the slippery feel. The zipper is too shiny and I prefer the plastic zipper. That's the main reason I can't buy the Asana jacket. Can't get past the metal zipper.
In the Flow Deep Zinfandel - very pretty but I'm holding out for the WUC. I really dislike the placement of the logo.
Power Y Deep Zin/Winter Orchid - so pretty. The material is thicker than Luon Light. The hang tag said 'Luon', not Luon Light. Made in China. Feels more compressive to me than luon light (but not as compressive as older luon). Why is it so long? I'm 5'3" and it folds over with any bending movement. Bought it and will most likely get it hemmed.
Open Your Heart LS Deep Zin - so soft, definitely a size down. I normally wear 4 in long sleeve (Full Tilt, Swiftly) and had to size down to 2. Bought this one too.
Scuba Winter orchid/Deep Zin Rose Herringbone - Love this much more than the Forme. In fact, love that outfit that you posted earlier with the Power Y Deep Zin/Winter Orchid. This came home too.
Virasana Wrap - only had the light gray and dark gray in the store. Yes it is stiff but I tried on anyway. Surprisingly, I really liked it. Tried on my regular size 4 and the body was too big.. like a big sac. So I sized down to 2 and the body fits much nicer. The sleeves are tight but not too tight. There is a ribbed section on the sleeve so it will stretch with movement. I was wearing a tank so I need to try this on with other long sleeve tops. I bought the dark gray one. I think it will be warmer than the Savasana wrap that I have.
Confession: My internal conflict.. Am I a Lulu addict or a Lulu collector? Really, how many more jackets, or tanks or pants do I need? Try to do a closet clean out and love almost every single item that I have and can't seem to part with any (ok maybe 2 items). Can't seem to organize because there is way too much exercise clothes in my house. Either I go get therapy for my addiction OR consult a closet company to build a closet in my basement for my 'collection'. Hummm....
I am looking forward to the new and renewed colors clear mint, guava lava and bleached coral. The surge clear mint print is interesting. Although I hardly wear my menthol green tank and passed on bleached coral the first tine around for pop orange. I got the skinny grooves in inkwell they don't have a sheen. I'm not sure about keeping them I wish they were longer. I will size up to an eight if I do decide to keep them
I love the new colors and the new skinny grooves, but they were totally see through. this is the first time I've experienced that. ugh. I got a 4 even though I sometimes buy size 2.
My Heathered Inkwell long sleeved Swiftly arrived...it's paper thin, I was shocked. I have the plum long sleeved one, a short sleeve in Alberta Lake and Black, and they have a more substantial feel. Definitely going back, it was like wearing tissue paper. The color is only marginally different from the black anyway.
My skinny grooves came yesterday. I ordered solid black. Mine were see through too. Total bummer! I didn't like their look as well as skinny wills though so the lack of opacity just made it that much easier to return them. I'm 5'6" and they were crazy long stretched out, but bunched nicely at my ankles. They felt ever-so-slightly big but not big enough to size down (which I could not have done anyways with the butt being see through).
@Anonymous 12:32 Really? you Found yours were sheer? That'd odd. I got them and I am loving the full on. I've done the sheer test on several occasions and thankfully they past the test.
@Sb: i had to laugh when I read your musings about being a Lulu addict vs. a Lulu collector, etc. You took the words right out of my mouth, this is exactly how I feel too. On the other hand, isn,t it wonderful to stand in front of your closet, and contemplate what nice and useful things you are going to wear out of your collection? It is a delight to exercise in well-made, flattering garments. Ok, my name is Lulu Addict and I think I am at the right place to confess to it! On the other hand, I have a same opinion as you about the BB Forme jacket and I am glad you also bought the zin rose scuba, which I find stunning. Interestingly, it doesn,t move on the website...

It's as if you are wrting it fopr me!!! Glad I'm not alone. :)
P/S: My husband is actually building an external "Lulu Closet" for me. It will be cedar lined too, mind you!
tried on inkwell skinny grooves and deep zinfandel ebb & flow crop in store yesterday - both were a little see-through in a deep bend (with contrasty underwear)
Ok have to add that I am loving my new Straight Up Pants from Athleta. The Power Pilayo is much more compressive and thicker than regular Pilayo, had to size up, but so far so good!
I have some trouble in the private area with Athleta pants, but these don't do that. They pass the bend over test.
Do not like the feel of the Black Heather pant as much as the Black.
I would recommend if you don't like as much flare or skinny tights.
Stopped by the Richmond, Virginia store today--there was a special after-hours sale where lots of new stuff had been marked down (recent stuff!) and it was an additional 30% off. It was a ZOO in there. I saw lots of awesome stuff in line--Inspires, tanks, Swiftlies. I was there to exchange the paper-thin Heathered Inkwell Swiftly for the Black one, and when I got home, there was a big snag across the front! I think it was the frantic educator who was trying to hustle that snagged it on her gigantic ring. So now I get to drive allll the way back there and return it, after waiting in that crazy line for like 20 minutes. But it was totally worth the trip and the craziness to see the SURGE CRB!!!! It is such a beautiful color--I've been waiting for it for TWO YEARS. Luckily they had one in my size so I didn't have to tear it out of the hands of another person :)

Hi. New Straight Up Pant in black. My butt looks better than I've ever seen in any pant by Lulu, Lucy, Nike, Adidas. I like it!!
