Are those purple zinfandel studio crops lined or unlined I wonder??

OT anyone try the new Push UR Limits tank yet?

I ordered the zin cozy sweatpants, hope the weird stitch on the back is forgivable. Really curious about that Uba Hoodie! Looks wonderful.

OT-- Virasana jackets were re-priced at $168, up from $148 in my store. Actually rang up at $148 and the clerk re-priced it in front of me. I was told stores are able to set their own prices. Have they been re-priced anywhere else?

HOlding off on the Pure Balance sweater until I read reviews. Too much LuLu gear has pilled, come apart at the seams, or washed poorly. At 98.00, I want to know how this is fairing.
Anyone know yet?

Still don't like that X marks the spot on the butt of those pants!

I was told lined by an Ed tonight!

What grey shirt is the girl in the top photos wearing underneath the Pure Balance sweater? I know many people don't, but I love that dropped hem look!

7:25, I know this is not helpful at all, but my Push UR Limits is in the mail right now. Looking forward to it. I had a couple of the early '12 version, and I my fingers are crossed that the new release lives up.

It must not be in a single store yet since there are no stock photos popping up.

I love the color of that sweater but the weird high-low hem and boxiness look odd. And those pants! Why is there an "x" right over the (excuse my vulgarity, please) exit chute? What the heck!

What's with the X stitching on the butt? WEIRD

hey LLA, did you get the plum space dye inspires? i can't decide if i should keep them in addition to the black pair i got!

@ anon 7:39 am - I did order them but returned them since they weren't as compressive as the soot ones I bought.

The way the "x" stitching is placed on the butt of the calm and cozy sweatpant is SO. SO. WRONG. Or maybe it's just me that thinks it looks like a target....

11:43 PM, fully agree with your comments. Deep Zinfandel is definitely pretty in the Pure Balance and in everything they've use it for, so far). From a photo design point of view, the gloves ruin the shots.

X on the Calm & Cozy, yes, called it from day 1. These could be the best pants ever and I will not purchase them for that reason alone. Such a miss and clearly designer thoughtlessness! Cannot justify the price for a pant that would be worn in the house only.

anon @10:35 PM: is that even legal, to mark a price up while the customer stands there? even if it's legal, it's ridiculous that they would change the price after it rang up at $148. TERRIBLE customer service if they didn't honor the $148. i guess it's none of my business, but i would call GEC or go back to the store (if you ended up buying it) and insist on a refund.

@6:28 AM re: push ur limits: thanks, i love my old push ur limits tanks too! from about 2010? let us know what you think when yours arrives!

The bum look so awkward!

The sweater is kinda cute but totally looks like something you could get at Forever 21 or Target. No offense to those stores because I love them, just don't think the design is worth the lulu price tag.

I got the Pure Balance sweater in Zinfandel. It is super cozy!! looks great with leggings. No issues yet...

@1:06 I've been thinking the exact same thing! I have a couple sweaters from F21 that look EXACTLY like that & they were under $20. Not worth $100 just for the lulu symbol. I feel the same way about the heart opener long sleeve... no way is that worth $80 when you can find a plain tshirt at any store for under $20. I will never pay lulu prices for items that can be found anywhere for way less. IMO it's insulting for them to charge that much for basic items.

Received my Push your Limuts tank... Love it! Just like the old school ones:)

I just got my deep zinfadel Push your limits tank... fit is the same as the old version, except the luxtreme feels a little more stiff- not as buttery soft. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't have the other to compare it to (plum/static plum). I plan on keeping it as it is one of my favorite tanks!

On another note, WTF is that x marks the spot on the back of those sweapants?

I am so sick of the high/low hemlines! Its either that or super curved duck butt hemlines-been saving mad money this past year at least not spending w/ lululemon, a little bit here and there but nothing like I used to when chip was ceo, 2011 was the last year I used to spend way way too much so i'm really pretty glad that I don't anymore since I've got plenty of w/o wear to last me a very long time ;)

Anon @11.18

I agree, the published price is the one the customer pays. Not the one they thought up and didn't tell anyone about.

I would have asked to speak to the manager before I'd paid.

Thanks for responding 11:18 & 6:19!
Yeah--it's left a salty taste in my mouth.
I spoke with several employees including the manager! I was told each store is able to make their own prices and they felt the value of that jacket far exceeded what the orig price was compared to the other jackets they currently have. I didn't raise a stink, as I am in there EVERY day, (which further underscores the disregard or even contempt they have for their clients), but then again, it does trickle down from the top.

@4:55am the grey top she is wearing under the pure balance sweater is the Karma long sleeve. I got one in my store the other day. They just added the heathered grey online. Btw it's super soft cotton I did size up because the fit was snug and I don't like back FAT!

Anonymous said...

I believe it is either a dhyana short sleeve or a karma long sleeve top that she is wearing. Both have the curved hem in front and the short sleeve is available in that charcoal color on the website now.

I would have left the darn wrap and walked out if they told me I was going to be charged more than the ticketed price. That is just flat out ridiculous and really quite incredulous that they would even attempt that! I mean really - first of all what is with this company that they cannot get their shit straight (excuse the language but c'mon) that the wraps were ticketed wrong in the first place? And if they truly were "mispriced" then be professional and remove them all from the floor then reprice them and place them back on the floor.

I agree about the x. The way it is puckered makes it even more vulgar. It's a shame because the rest of the pant is great.

Anonymous said...

They did have the $168 sticker price, just was not updated in the computer when I purchased.

10:35/10:24 PM, that's crazy. You're way too nice to suck it up. On principle I would have said 'see you later.' But in Canada, that's actually not legal. If it rings up at a lower price, it's yours at that price. If it rings up at a higher price but is stickered at a lower price, it's yours at the lower price (i.e., even if this was the grocery or drug store and they forgot to take the sale sticker down off the shelf, they still have to honour it). There's actually a consumer standards regulation around this type of thing. As for price adjustments within a week or two, 30 days, or not at all. I believe stores have their own latitude on that but they have to make clear what it is (usually printed on the receipt).

Love the deep zinfandel pure balance sweater, but when I tried it on, it was way too boxy. I'm a slim build and don't want to look bulky or bigger or pregnant thank you. I wish it were a tad slimmer fit.

@ 3:28 PM: i swear we at least used to have that law in the States too; at least, that's what my mama always told me! wonder if that law has been removed. anyone know? (getting OT but am curious, and i usually do ask for stores to honor the marked price even if it's incorrect.)

Anonymous said...

Hi 7:48 the stores in the US are supposed to honor the sticker price. If the made a mistake, they should honor the customer. Most stores will. I can't believe lulu did not.
