| Define left, Forme Jacket right |
My pique Forme came today. I think it's pretty much the same color as the Black Coal Mini Check pique Define I bought last year. I took the Define off the drying rack and it's still a bit wet so I think that is why it looks darker than the Forme in these photos. I'll check again tomorrow when the Define is dry. (Oh yeah, it's not the design, the Forme is two sizes smaller than the Define. That is the reason I got the Forme, to replace the Define since it's a bit big on me now. I like the fit of the Forme II much better than the original Forme and the stretchy pique makes it nicely figure-hugging.)

Sooo what are your thoughts on the Pique Forme, LLA?! You gave try on reports, but no comments on the forme. I am curious!!
Sorry about that. I like it a lot. The fit of the Forme II is better than the Forme and in the pique it's nicely figure-hugging. My Define is a bit big on me now so that is why I got the Forme.
so would you say its TTS to say the define?
how about fabric? structure in the pic of the define is nicer than the forme II.
I wish that both the piqué and the herringbone texture came in other colours beside grey. Grey next to my face really washes me out, since I have a fair complexion, light hair and eyes. Unless I wear some bright coloured scarf, I look like my own grandmother in grey. But I love the the textures!
I think the Forme II runs a bit looser in the arms and chest than the Define.
WTG on dropping 2 sizes in a year LLA! You've been working hard.
Anon @ 4:06, I feel your pain. As one of my workout buddies told me while swimming today, my "flesh is the color of a beluga." Black and grey look really awful on me as well, I'm a redhead, with warm not cool undertones. I feel my complexion is better suited to warm colors. I ordered the Piqué to see how it looks, because pique is so cozy.

4 defines fit me well. not too tight.

@ anon 4:06 I have exactly the same problem with pique/herringbone. I created a thread on heylulu website addressing this problem, hoping colors like olive green would be a possibility for pique fabric. But no one addresses this issue yet.
I don't understand what the point of replacing the Define was.
What baffles me most is that the Forme I looked like a cheap knockoff of the Define, and now that Forme II just look like a better knockoff.
What I am trying to say is that the Forme keeps getting closer and closer in appearance to the original Define. Why replace a jacket 'A' that did so well, with a jacket 'B' that keeps looking more and more similar to jacket 'A'? It is like someone up in corporate is completely devoid of logic.
I still dislike the Forme and refuse to purchase one. The whole idea behind the Forme just makes no sense to me.
I would really like it if the Pique or Herringbone came in other colors too. I did hear a little rumor that Herringbone might be coming in Plum and I am SO hoping that rumor comes true.
I am not impressed with these piqué and herringbone formes. MAYBE if they were Defines I would consider trying them. But like LLA said, the Forme fits bigger in the chest and arms and they are just not as flattering on me.
I have that same mini check pique define! Gets compliments whenever I wear it, which isn't often since I rarely need a jacket in Phx.
I also received a notice from my local store about an event or "VIP's" early shopping for deep discount merchandise and they had summer colors attached like coral, beach blanket blue etc. I then stopped by the store to ask about the event and they said the have tons of leftover summer merch in the warehouse that needed to be cleared out so they are sending to their stores to get rid of. Didn't they just have the warehouse sale in Los Angles? Most retailers got rid of their summer stuff in August! I hope with the new CEO from Kmart they will have a better markdown strategy!
I'm with you on that one! I refuse to buy a forme, even in pique (and I LOVE pique). It's still a crappy, less flattering version of the define. Pass.
ivivva has a pink herringbone out, so maybe we will see that at lulu soon. I don't really like it, but I bet some people will :)
