New Shine Tights (top and bottom left photo - very super hero-y to me), new Green Bean In the Flow Crops, and new Second Chance Pant with mesh inserts.
Love this color combo - Plum Swiftly with the new Pretty Pink Speed Shorts.
I tried on the Soot Wee Space Run For Fun Crops last night and really liked the color. It was much more camouflaging than the Plum Wee Space Inspires which I ended up returning because I could see the shadow of my black underwear through. If Soot WAFS Inspires are coming I think I would definitely consider them especially if they were solid with no mesh insert.
These are the Scubas the stores are getting - Commuter Denim Black, Inkwell/Green Bean Slalom Stripe, Inkwell and Pretty Pink Paisley. I really liked the Commuter Denim Black and the Pink Paisely. The Inkwell Paisely is nice but I don't think the color is rich enough. I like it when lulu colors seems to glow with richness.
New Pace Breaker shorts in Inkwell/Green Bean hyperstripe and Mojave Tan. I am really digging the Mojave Tan ones for some reason.

The photos in that collage...is there some weird filter applied to those photos? I wish people would stop doing that. Hard to tell what stuff actually looks like. Could be just a crappy camera on someone's phone though.
The shine tights look like stuff I wore in the 80s so I doubt I'll revisit that. I'm guessing it will appeal to more to girls that weren't alive in the 80s.

They have come out with over 7 striped vinyasas in the last year! I think we have had enough stripes!!!! Ahhhhhh! Those tights could be worth a shot!

Regarding the shiny legging... Victoria's Secret has shiny leggings like that for sale or cheap; I think 2 pairs for $40 or something like that.

Most 80s clothing "trends" should not be revisited. I say "most" but I can't think of one that stands the test of time. I guess we can expect acid wash from LLL next.

it's hard to tell from the altered pictures what the tops and tights are supposed to look like.
I don't think I would wear shiny workout clothing. what I am looking for is good cold weather running gear with lots of reflective patches or stripes.

OT: mini try-on report from my recent trip to the "big" city, lol
I tried on the ziggy CRB and had to size up from my usual 4 to a 6. Compared the 6 with my 4s at home and found it to be the same size. Wasn't impressed with the feel of the fabric but I've been jonesing for a new CRB.
Also tried on the beautiful (IMO) En Route crops in inkwell paisley. I tried both the 4 and the 6 and both were SHOCKINGLY see through, even with the 6 baggy and wrinkly. I cannot believe people are buying these and even commenting on the Lulu site that they are opaque. Those people must be blind and/or crazy. My light coloured luon light tanks are more opaque than these. Even my light as air undies ae more opaque!! I was so hopeful that these would be decent but definitely had to pass.
Bonus, I picked up the tweed city softshell on sale for $139. It is on the boxy, shapeless side yes, and a little stiff, but I LOVE tweed and I plan to throw a belt over it. It's nice and warm and the price was great.
where are they selling the shine tights? are they going to be on the next upload? I havent seen them yet..
Okay, so I bought the shine tights and love them! I was a child of the 80's but these are fun and SUPER flattering. I was very skeptical until I wore them. They could definitely go to the gym or be worn with boots and a long sweater. Thanks to the Lulu symbol being hidden it isn't obviously workout wear. Anyhow, I am going against the majority here and giving these a thumbs up!
