Why does this NLT in "inkwell" not look like the other versions of inkwell recently, i.e. wasn't there recently a CRB?

is that a wizard suit for halloween?- true question asked by my husband. seriously lulu?

also, that angelwing swiftly ls may as well be saran wrap. i can see everything through that. insulting for a $70 shirt...

OT: anyone have problems with a rolling waistband on the Shake & Brake shorts? I wore my midnight iris ones and worked out in them (lost of bending at the waist) and noticed the band was funny but I thought they would go back to normal after I washed them but I washed them last night and the band still won't lay flat.

@6:04AM, I have those same shorts and I've worn them once for a BodyAttack workout that involves some bending etc but more cardio and lunge type stuff. I haven't noticed a problem with the waist band rolling but I also wasn't specifically looking for it. (not that you were, I can be sort of unobservant at times.... some being an understatement) I'll check mine out when I get home, I've laundered them since I wore them.

I'm really falling for the cyb tank! Think I'm going to order it today in pretty pink and plum :)

Thanks MacFrannie! I only noticed cause I kept having to pull them up because the waist band folded after tons of burpees and bending. I felt like they were really low which was because of the rolled/folded waist band. I don't want to take them back to the store, so tired of things being wonky! I have a tata tamer that I washed for the 2nd time and the stitching on the band came undone. My husband even mentioned how all my lulu keeps falling apart... I guess I'm just having bad luck :(

I thought the Savasana softshell resembles a cape worn by the evil dark lord in a sci fi or comic book

@1:26pm- I checked my shake and break shorts and my waist band looks like the band on the new slalom stripe pair I just got. I hope yours work out for you.

What's coming up next week LLA? I could order an item or two from the current collection but I'm not obsessed with them. I wanna see if there's anything I'll like from next week so I don't have to rush ordering anything. Thanks.

I would like to buy studio pants but they are very expensively. It's worth it?

OT, but have a question for my fellow addicts: Has anyone ever tried to alter her lulu (Groove or Astro pants specifically)? I ask because I tried on a pair of ruffled up Grooves today -- I happened to be wearing an older pair of Astros -- and the difference in the thickness of the fabric was so obvious that it just made me sad. And a ton of my older lulu (2005-2008) is all a size too big for me because I bought it in between my first two babies when the thought of ever returning to my normal size seemed impossible. I know folks who swear that a good seamstress can remake anything, but I just don't know, with all the stretch and fancy thread required...any insight would be most appreciated!

Two years ago I would say yes!! But now I'm regretting a bit the six or so pairs I've bought since. If you need something like it, and wouldn't give them up even when the waist starts to collapse (like my black swan pair) then they are worth it to you.

@ 5:07 PM, if you read the reviews, the rolling waistband problem is ongoing for recent versions. LLL even acknowledges this in some GEC comments to customers.

Maybe you want to wait until they fix the problem.

OT - Can you ladies give me some suggestions on what to wear with my pique skinny wills please?!?! I love them but realized nothing that I own really "looks" right with them. Would love some ideas right down to the store or brand where I can get these items - don't have a lot of time to shop around and it can be lulu or not. I'm mostly looking to wear these on the weekends as casual wear not for working out.

Thanks!

@anon 6:07am - i usually wear mine with either a cabin LS or devotion tee-shirt. with the cabin i sort of tuck in the front and leave the back out (also i wear the skinny wills with the waist down) with the devotion, i just sort of pull it up a little - i wear a 4 in lulu tops but get the devotion in a 2 so it's more fitted. also sometimes with a CRB and my meditate pullover. pique skinny wills dark charcoal right? well 1st off i'd wear the crb w/ them in a lot of diff colors pinks (light to dark), yellows, blues especially the blues that are lighter to medium I personally don't like dark blue w/ charcoal but its up to you- white looks great, off white wonderful, reds, neon greens or light green, as far as style i'd style them w/ volumous tops too the style that's babydoll w/ draw string at the bottom or the nlt's gosh there are so many tops i'd do w/ them except cutoff short tops would look bad imo!

Thanks ladies! Anon 6:07 am here. Yes, I have the dark charcoal wills. My boyfriend called them long johns this weekend, not exactly what I wanted to hear. I thought about the crbs with something shorter layered over top - maybe a warm up crew. And I also have a devotion ls that I will try out.
