Is anyone liking the shes swift jacket? If so tell me why? Its short, puffy and whats with the nasty gather in the back. Sell me on it please:)
The softshell coat looks like it's made of felt you buy from the craft department at Walmart.
BAHAHAH anon 6:12 -- dead on!
I wish the NLT's weren't so stinking long! Being only 5 feet tall, they are like an obscene mini dress on me. The new navy paisley one is so pretty in real life.
Does anyone know if the Luon light CRB's stretch out at all with time? I am pretty lean right now coming off a marathon and lots of summer running, but I'm thinking about this winter when I'm sure I'll be packing on a few extra lbs. Will it stretch out or will I look like a sausage? Should I size up? Thanks if anyone knows!
Does anyone know if WMTM has happened already? I don't think I see anything new but not sure if all the new pieces have maybe already sold out?
Paisley swifty's very pretty!!! really need the paisley black Run for Fun crops!!
Well, poop, the Ivivva site is down!
WMTM is up. Just ordered the Spry SS Swiftly. I have the Spry twin stripe Track and Train skirt, so I've been waiting for this to go in sale! Should be here by Friday!
Anyone else see this? http://investorplace.com/2013/09/lulu-stock-lululemon/
That inkwell paisley LS swiftly is beyond gorgeous! Are these in store yet?
OT - but has anyone run in the soot crops yet (either the inspires or can't stop)? Thinking of picking up a pair and wondering if the sweat marks are bad.
Hi girls, is the Inkwell Paisley NLT sold out online? I don't see it on the website...
Yeah that gathering at the back is the deal breaker for me its in the wrong spot and too wide too for the past year or more all the run jackets are super fugly imo!!!! they used to do jackets so well? I think all the designers that used to make awesome jackets jumped ship? the new asana jacket looks good to me but that's it, I hate all the "too short" hemlines of most all the jackets including the stupid scuba stretch!!!!! Loved the scuba w/ the stretch side panels and the longer length!!!! I have 4 would have stocked up had I known what they had planned for my beloved jacket!!!!!!! ;(
the paisley swiftly is a really nice top, very pretty. I really dislike the jackets.

My local stores have ziggy wee stripe will crops in. Might have to go check them out -- I also want to see the inkwell NLT. There's not a lot else that's tempting me right now.
We made too much is up lots of new things.

Should I pick up the Soot Inspires or the Can't Stop? I'm 5'1". Both look cute
@ M, I really like the paisely swiftly tops too. And I don't even really like swiftly tops or paisely that much for that matter. LOL Go figure.

On the topic of run jackets, I have a puddle jumper running jacket from last year and I just love it. I wore it all winter layered with rulu or the zip up tech tops from last winter time. Granted it doesn't get SUPER cold her in Northern VA but it can get pretty nippy.
And I have to say, I'm sort of hoping LLL puts out a down running skirt again this year. Last year I got the black and the red and I just LOVE them. I wore them with my runder unders and they were just enough coverage to keep my bum warm. I wish now I had gotten the white too. I've contemplated wearing them as casual wear with WUP and some cute boots. Very ski bunny... I haven't had the courage to do that yet but maybe this winter.

kind of random question- how do you guys feel about denim luon? I've never had or even seen any pants made from this. Ivivva has a pair of WU-like pants that I am interested in, but I'm a big gun shy because I don't know if I'll like the feel of denim luon. Is it compressive? I've found most of the patterned or light colored WUs to not be flattering on me. Thanks in advance! :)
Watermarks too? Is someone stealing your stuff LuluAddict?
katmac the inspires are almost a pant on me, I am 5'-3" the can't stop I haven't tried but it looks shorter than the inspires.

So I finally, FINALLY got to try on leggings and pants at Athleta, and let me tell you, Lulu will not be getting another dime from me when it comes to bottoms. I tried on no less than 15 pairs of pants, and not a single pair was sheer. Not one. Even the ones that were too tight weren't sheer. I had no muffin top (except for in the Bettona's, but my apple shape is and always has been resistant to skinny waist bands). The thing that impressed me the most about the Athleta leggings was the compression. I haven't felt that level of compression since my CW-X tights, and never have I had that from a pair of Lulu tights, although the Speed Tights come close. I went to Lulu today to return the terry Vinyasa (it just doesn't lay right, and the snaps don't hold very well), and I browsed around and didn't find anything worth buying. Granted, I rarely pay full price for anything Lulu, as I think their prices border on insanity, but still. I think the love affair is over. Too stinking bad it had to take 2+ years and thousands of dollars. Oh, and one last thing about the Athleta pants. So freaking soft. I couldn't get over it, and I couldn't stop touching them. Like a little kid with a blanket, I just wanted to stand there and stroke the pants...but I didn't, because that's kinds creepy. ;)
I like that paisley LS Swiftly. Not sure I need it, though. The arms can be rather long. I actually prefer GAP's version over LLL's.
I ordered a pair of the chaturanga tights from athleta that should be arriving today. They have the static gray that I've been lusting over but lulu hasn't had recently so I figured I'd give them a short. Plus I could order petite (I'm 5'5" but I don't like them all bunched up at the ankles) so no need to go through the hassle of getting them hemmed. The only thing I don't like from looking at them online is that they have a seam going down the outside of your legs, but I'll have to see how much that bothers me in real life. I'm hoping these can be an alternative to WUs because they are cheaper as well!
Picked up a pop orange ls swiftly, a pizazz ss swiftly and three pairs of the run no show socks - one in each color. These are my first swiftly's and socks from lulu so I'm excited. Hope the swiftly's don't snag...Would have liked to get another pair of track attacks - have two already - but had to draw the line somewhere. But I also threw in a full tilt ls in plum since I tried it on in store but they didn't have any plums left in my size.
Agree, the inkwell paisley swiftly is beautiful. I just don't want to spend that much on a shirt that might disintegrate in the wash! Will see how it goes with the two I just bought and take it from there.
The inkwell paisley NLT has not been uploaded yet.
Depends on what you want to wear the denim luon for - if for casual wear then I think it's great, it has a nice texture to it. If for working out - I'd be hesitant because it seems like it would be really warm.
Agree with M that the can't stop crops will be shorter. I'm 5'4" and the inspires are long crops on me.
@M and macfrannie
Ditto on the paisley *Print L/S Swiftly. I've been crying "not fair" since I saw it on the Canadian site and not US on upload night.
@ anon 7:09 am - The Inkwell NLT hasn't been uploaded to the website yet.
Where can I find the swiftly paisley shirts?!!! Otherwise online and not in stores! Help!!
I got an Athleta catalogue in the mail a couple days ago, and I have to say there's some really cute stuff in there. Plus they have a new line of stuff that is "Stink Proof". One of the reasons I could justify Lulu was that no one else had stink proof fabrics.
I also got a mailer from Road Runner Sports today, and it looks like they are upping their game with their women's clothing. Their stuff use to look a lot more utilitarian, and now there is ruching and ruffles, and layered looks and patterns. Lulu better watch out. If they continue with their smug attitude and don't insure better quality and service, they could become the "Blackberry" of the women's fitness clothing market. Remember when everyone had a Blackberry? Now that company is circling the drain as Apple and Android stomp the smart phone market.
Aww damn you LLL on the new print Swiftly shirts. I've been very disappointed in LLL for sometime and the only things I've bought are CRB's (yes, have way too many), and Speed Shorts. For Swiftly shirts, print ones are the only ones I buy. Have blossoms s/s and the lace ones (3 of the latter, 2 s/s and a l/s). Since I have the grey/black lace s/s and l/s, I'm sure I can control myself and not buy a paisley one (would prefer black over white), but I really like the black s/s! It would be awesome if they made one in plum!
I tried on the Can't Stop Crops and Run For Fun Crops today. Both of them were not sheer (I tried on black in both pairs) and passed the bend over test. I was my normal size 4. The Run For Fun has a higher waistband, and consequently the gel pockets are deeper (could easily fit 2 Gu's in each). It had a funny band at the bottom with no grippy strip. Very cute, but I like having that zippered back pocket for putting my driver's license, health insurance card and $--stuff I want secure and won't be getting into during my run. As mentioned by others, the Can't Stop crops are long and were like a regular pair of tights on me. Consequently, the detail on the bottom of the legs looked funny on me. I am 5' tall for reference.
I did buy the new heathered plum We Space Energy bra. I was Hell bent on getting it. Yes, like all the other new Energy bras, it runs small. I tried on every size 4 that was in the store. The first one was dreadful, major spillage out of the top, back and sides. The next one wasn't as tight, but still not good. Third time was a charm! Even though it's tighter than my older Energy bras, it contained everything without excess, bulbous flesh oozing from around it. It sucks that with all of Lulu's quality issues, I can't just run in and out of the store without trying stuff on. It takes so much longer now checking for exposed butt cheeks/undie patterns and trying on multiples of the same sized item just to find one that will fit! Still, I can't quit you, Lulu! (WTH is wrong with me!)
These ladies have lovely figures! Love the plum wunder under crops. I bough them the other day :) Great fit, no sheerness when I squat! TTS
Man I wish we had Athleta in Canada :(
There is an Athleta store opening near me , I can't wait to compare. The items should be pretty similar since the factories that make lulu in Sri Lanka also make clothes for Athleta.
