The new City Softshell Jacket.

More photos of the Can't Stop Jacket.

Speed Tight photos. People are saying these are nice - compressive and opaque.

Angel Wing Hyperstripe and Plum Speed Shorts plus Split Pea Groovy Run Shorts.

New Paisley Inkwell Scuba. Looks similar to the Albert Lake Herringbone from last year. Dying to see this one in real life.

Anyone have a comparison of the Speed Tights - Luxtreme vs. Cozy yet? I want to bite the bullet and order a pair but not sure which one to get. TIA!

I bought the cozy, I like them. Compressive and true to size. Soft on the inside. They didn't have the plain speed luxtreme in stores.

Can anyone offer a comparison between the piqué & herringbone skinny wills? My piqué is on the way but now I'm wondering if I'd rather have the herringbone. They look so similar online it's hard to tell. Thank you!!

i tried both in store today, the cozy felt slightly more compressive (both pairs were plain black). I thought the rise was great, not too low or too high. one note is that the regular ones have a mesh-like fabric on the back that was easy to miss in the online pictures, so if you are wearing them in colder weather that could be a problem?

New stuff in loot on the Canadian side! Also, just noticed the mini-hyper stripe black/black vinyasa scarf is now listed as "rulu" instead of "luon light". The only reason I didn't order it Monday night was because it was listed as luon, so this baby will now be mine!!! I have been waiting for a rulu scarf *love*.

Could anyone offer me some insight about their plum crb, please? Love the color, but am wondering how it feels! TIA!

@7:26

That's so true! I didn't order because of that!

I'm so excited! Can't wait for the order now!!! I have been waiting forever for rulu scarves to come back out!

Also early wmtm! But it looks like nothing for me.

Does anyone know if the WAFS tights will be in the stores? I get so exasperated figuring out what will show up and what won't. Also, I would love that scarf, looks like it's only on the CA saide?

@ anon 7:55 pm - It's a bit thinner than recent CRBs but I don't think it's feel scratchy or anything.

RE: Speed tights, cozy vs. luxtreme - I bought both today. The cozy is brushed and overall felt much warmer, but the luxtreme is also totally opaque and I would say the compression offered is the same. The luxtreme has mesh along the back from the knee down to the ankle, whereas the cozy doesn't, so if you run in the cold the cozy is a better choice.

RE: Skinny wills, pique vs. herringbone - the herringbone is almost like a pattern on the pant, the pique wills are woven. Depends what you want them for... I like the herringbone pattern more aesthetically, but I wanted warmer pants for winter, so the pique is a better choice because the fabric is much thicker, softer, and warmer. It's almost like a sweatpant-turned-tight in terms of how soft and warm it is.

LOVED the speed tights! I bought both the luxtreme and the cozy. Compressive, opaque... not quite old lulu, but so much better than the recent ones. I have a rather ample booty and thick thighs (very muscular) and I have a hard time stuffing myself into luxtreme tights because if it fits on the waist/through the knee then it's too tight across my butt, but these fit nicely. Considering buying another colour in luxtreme; I love the mesh panel at the back and the pockets.

The hang tag on my plum CRB says it is made of luon light.

I posted earlier about having legs too long for the WU with zippers. I went to the store, tried them on once more to be sure before returning, bent over, and could see my lilac thong clearly. Needless to say, the WUs went back. I bought a pair of speed tights-cozy and they passed the bend test and my ankles. :-)

why are the speed tights opaque on everyone but me? I only tried the regular ones in plum and the size 6 were too big and my regular 4 were definitely sheer. oh well, guess I'm just unlucky?

hopefully I'll have better luck with the black.

I don't think many of the stores will be getting the Space Dye Speed Tights in--I called 4 stores yesterday and only one store said they were probably getting them in. I hope the Space Dye ones won't have that horrible mesh on the back, that seems pointless to me. But good to know that the Cozy ones won't have it.

Love that the herringbone is back! I feel like Lulu is at its best in the fall.

Those white speed shorts with the black stripes look like an undergarment, boy-short style! Not becoming for a grown woman to leave the house in...

Anyone have a fit on the Can't Stop Jacket?

Oh well, too bad the WAFS aren't coming to stores, but I need a new pair of running tights like a hole in the head anyway :).

I think the white speed shorts are nice, but not for fall. I don't like any of the hoodies or jackets although the pattern on the inkwell would be nice in a bra or as an accent on crops or shorts.
I ordered the pace setter in the iris print, I could not resist, the same with the plum energy bra which has become my favorite for my road to beach run, I actually did a run swim with the energy bra and it performed quite well even aster it was wet I was able to keep running with no issues. I am pretty busty 34 D sometimes DD.

Everything about that paisley scuba looks good EXCEPT the giant green logo. That's a killer for me. Way too obvious and reeks of screaming 'LOOK AT ME! I AM WEARING LULU!!!'.

I want those striped speeds!!!!! Even though I have the striped ones with the polka dot waist band from the love red era in July. I love stripes I can't help it!!!! I'm also looking forward to the hyper stripe energy bra. I like the black and white patterned bras to wear because I can wear the, with mostly all my tanks!

@anon 733am I bought the can't stop jacket yesterday and love it, I got my tts and it has just enough room to wear a long sleeve or thin sweater underneath.

@ 7:55, I picked up the plum CRB today in store. It is on the softish side and not at all scratchy. The colour is gorgeous.

I saw the Can't Stop Jacket and was completely underwhelmed, zero interest. Actually, most of the new stuff was in but I was really only interested in the CRB.

I like the look of the Speed Tights and the ruching, but, I'm probably set for tights so will wait for markdown. Should it happen, great and if not, no big deal.

I also saw the herringbone WU's and just sitting on the shelf, the weave had come apart in an area. Obviously I did not even care to look at another pair.

Re plum crb: my sz 4 is cut differently than my other sz4 in other colors. Longer, narrower, but the neck opening is wider. On lulumum another said same thing re 4, but another poster and lulumum said tts. So looks like their stellar quality control is at work again.

I want those white striped speeds too! I was at my local store today & they didn't have any :( They had the plum which were tempting but I already have 2 pair of different purple shades so that would be overboard. I tend to only like the 4 way stretch though, & I'm sure the white ones are 2 way.

I tried on the textured WUP. They were really soft & not sheer, but I didn't find them flattering at all. I like how they reverse to a striped pattern, but don't understand why they made the gusset black? It would probably look pretty silly to wear them on that side. They were WAY nicer than the herringbone which was just a print on the pants. Same with the skinny Wills, the ones uploaded this week are just a print on the pants while the ones from 2 weeks ago are a soft thick knit. Again, didn't find them flattering on me, though.

I did buy a pair of WUP in full-on luon. I love them! Wondering if anyone has had WUP hemmed? They aren't ridiculously long like the Wills but a couple inches off would fit better. I'm just worried that maybe the ankles would not be tight anymore.

Oh & I agree about the ruffled WUP! I saw them hanging in the store & they looked like crops.

Anonymous said...

Anon@7:05, I so agree with you in re the Can't Stop jacket. The plum front almost looked faded and didn't match that well with the stretchy side panels.

Anonymous said...

Anon@7:57 - I am only 5'4 and get all my WUPs cropped a few inches, as they extend far past my ankles if I leave them alone. The fit in the ankle for me depends on the pants. I have an older pair of WUPs (4 years, maybe) that are still fitted in the ankle but not tight. I also have 2 reversible pairs that stayed pretty snug, and a newer regular black WUP pair that I would say is still almost just as tight in the ankle. I think that if cropped, they definitely aren't as tight as if they are left alone, but it's never bothered me and I would never say any of my cropped pairs are anything less than snug after being hemmed...they look right, too. Hope that helps!

Anyone know where they are selling that ziggy plum asana jacket? Or the plain plum for that matter? And if the US is getting them?! I'm drooling!

LuluAddict said...

@dry chic - so far the Ziggy Plum is in Australia but I think it will be in North America soon.

I am waiting for the ziggy asana jacket too! Tried it on in black today to make sure I wanted it. Love the longer length and I bought the WUcrops in the same print today.
