Some more photos of the Ebb to Street tank. I just ordered the black one, my third in this style, today. I wouldn't mind the Angel Wing but it seems kind of sheer. I hope there are more colors coming in this tank.
Urbanite Blazer and Pant. I typically can't stand anything from the commuter bike line and it seems this season is no different. However, the Urbanite pant actually looks kind of cute.
The Angel Wing Hyperstripe Power Y.
Pow Stripe CRB and Ruffled Up Wunder Under Pants.
Ziggy Wee September black Wunder Unders crops - these are new. I am tempted but I found the pant sheer in these. I wonder if the Ziggy Inkwells are coming in the crop, too. I think I'd like a pair in that print.
In the top photo - Ebb to Street bra, Flow Y bra, Energy bra. The bottom photo shows Free to Be bras.

LLA- did you get your normal crb size in ebb to street tank? I got the bras and definitely need to size up in them. I really want the tank but am worried about sizing. I'm a 4 in tops across the board. And I'm definitely not large chested if that helps. TIA
I got the size I take in built in bra tanks. My CRB size was way too snug.
Attention Toronto shoppers: LLL Yorkdale Shopping Centre has a number of things on clearance. Some striped CRB's (the white blue, white green, love red, pizazz, couple dune gingham), some crops (including in the flow in blue and love red), contempo jackets, groove run shorts (floral, brights, and that lavender colour, cool breeze?) If you're looking for the soot CRB in size 4, they had one left at full price. There are a couple of plum CRB's in larger sizes. If you read this by Sunday, you may still have a chance at some stuff if you're interested.
Thanks for the heads up anon 5:47 pm! I'll definitely check it out! :)
I HAVE to have that CRB!!!
Anyone with an Angel Wing and Ghost (color from last year) comparison?
Try on store report-
WUC Wee Stripe September - the darker, gray .. Completely sheer. I have the plum Ziggy WUC and it was so thick and opaque. This one the material is thinner.. Very disappointed.
Ebb & Flow Bra - they are wonderful. They give me cleavage which is unheard of (I'm an 34B on a bloated day) and my chest was amazing. Bought the plum and thinking about buying all colors to wear everyday under regular clothes.
Ebb & Flow Tank - Amazing too. I hope they don't ride up. Will wear tomorrow for a sweaty workout and see if it rides up. Bought plum, blue and black. I hope it doesn't stretch out too much when sweaty. I wanted to love the Angel Wing but it was too sheer. Could see the elastic band on the bra lining. I wear CRB 4 and Free to be Tank 6 and I took this in 6. Was debating between size 4 and 6. In a size 4 the chest band sat higher above my breast fold and was more visible through the tank - the bump of the elastic was visible when it was sitting higher.
Swiftly LS - stripe gray (not sure the name but code is HTSO) and it is super soft, thicker and such a nice basic. Bought it.
Give Me Q pants - love the compression and the feel of the fabric like luxtreme but not shiny, completely opaque. Its described as Luon with interweave Luxtreme. I'm waiting for the all black. I tried on the plum which I really like but I just bought the WU ruffles in plum and I like those better.
OT - I finally wore my black Pump it up jacket and Love Love Love.... Finally the weather is cool enough to wear jackets.
@Sb - thanks for the report on the ziggy gray. I bet it is sheer. The black is for sure.
Inkwell Inspires were a big disappointment. They are beautiful colors and not sheer but don't have the compression of my old ones. When I lay them next to my other ones, the leg is much wider and flares at the bottom (Size 4). I wonder of they are all like that? Anyone try these?
Lovin4u - Awww man! I get my inkwell inspires on Tuesday. I'll be very disappointed if they are terrible. I bought the soot light ones in store the other day and they have great compression and are also not sheer. I posted about them the other day - the bf has been away but is back so I'll do the old bend over test for him today. I haven't worn them because I'm waiting to get the inkwells so I can compare the two. Actually it also occurred to me that there may be soot light inspires coming with the black/grey slalom stripe details which I would much prefer over the angel wing stripe. LLA if you hear of that color way coming on inspires please let us know!
I'm also a relative Lulu newbie - 2 years or so - and to me the latest inspires feel much thicker than the ones I bought about two years ago so I guess to an extent the experience is all relative. I sometimes feel as if I'm wearing the type of tights you wear under skirts when I have my inspires on! There was a woman in my class yesterday morning that had a pair of inspires on from last fall - they had the pink (not sure of the name but a bright pink not neon) and white stripes detail around the calf - and there wasn't even a hint of sheerness and looked great. I definitely can't say the same for all the gals in the gym I've seen wearing different color ways. Yikes!!!
Also, with all the rave reviews on the ebb to street tank I'm sorry I didn't try it on the other day. I like the simple styling of it - reminds me of a power y which for me is a no fuss tank that I can wear to do anything - enough support to run - kickbox - yoga - you name it. Hmmmm....
Are you located in Canada? I've been waiting and waiting to try the Give Me Qi pants and the educators have not even heard of them. ( which I find really odd)
My mom lives in Canada so if they seem worth if I will have her get them. Would you say they are true to size? Thanks in advance!!
@ LLA is there any peaks into new colors coming out soon?
@ anon 7:30 am - There is supposed to be a green coming. Based on the logos on the new Scubas it looks like a Kelly green.
LLA thank you for the info on a green coming. I really want a new, nice green!
I have the inkwell inspires and I love them! Wore them for a trx class but have not tried them out running yet. The temp has dropped a bit here so maybe this week.
I'm surprised that the give me qi are so well rated. I tried they city pants, give me qi, journey crop, and wu ruffled (loved) in multiple colours, sized 4, 6 and 8 (my hips measure 35-36 inches which I think is a size 4-6) and ALL were some sort of sheer. I don't know if it's me, but I'm so jealous of those who they fit. I loved most of those so much, but for the price I could buy/keep anything that showed my panties.
I tried on the Gather and Crows and the WUC in the black/grey ziggy, and the material was slippery. Tried them on and BAM they went pretty sheer in the knees, the butt, and even when I was standing up you could see the fabric going sheer across my hip bones. And no, I was not wearing too small a size. The ziggy fabric is not like the other colors and it's not like the pique or herringbone like I was expecting :(
In other news, I returned a pair of shorts because they kept creeping up during running, and the educator didn't give me a hard time. Maybe she could tell I meant business.
I have ghost and angle wing, ghost is lighter angle wing has a tinge of yellow to it a bone color where ghost was a cooler off white if you will- I love both of them, I love all shades of off white from ivory, creme, bone, latte etc. they are all fabulous imo! I got the angle wing top ebb to street top in angle wing and took my normal size 6 it fits a bit snugger than my racer backs lovely fabric and great top- love it especially nice in the angle wing!!
Maybe it's just because I'm a mom, but I love the pic of her holding the baby! I think that Lulu is a great "uniform" for a mom, and when I'm at the playground I can see that many many others agree!
Ladies, I have a question. I just found out I'm pregnant, and I have A LOT of Lulu. For those of you who have worn Lulu through pregnancies, how long we're you able to wear it? What styles/pieces worked best and finally, did you find the material would spring back or remain stretched out? I don't want to ruin my pre-pregnancy size 8 pieces, but right now, I just feel bloated all the time and Lulu is the only thing that's comfortable.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks @anon 10:52. I just ordered the angel wing ruffled up CRB. I have a ghost vinyasa but never got the power y. The ghost goes well with the wren (old color, as well). Thx again and I too love all the colors you mentioned.
I love seeng the photos of the mum with her kids too. I have a feeling that many LLL customers are mothers so I am sure many of us can related to the photos.
OT: has anyone tried the urbanite pant? How do they fit in comparison to the out and about pant and are they the same fabric?
Does anyone in Toronto know if the angel wing hyper stripe vinyasas are in? I've seen only the black one, but not the plum or angel wing. Thanks if anyone knows.
Does anyone in Toronto know if any stores have received the angel wing vinyasa?
NYC HAS RULU VINYASA SCARVES!!! Or at least we did...I snagged the last two Angel ones at Union Square today :O. Plenty of the plum stripe and a few black ones still left this morning, though.
I tried on the Ebb & Flow Bra today and even though it was a great feeling and I really liked the band it was teeny tiny! I tried my usual size 6 bra size and the cups were so small that there is no way I would be comfortable wearing it. They didn't have an 8 in any of the colors so I couldn't compare. What is anyone else's experience with this bra?
@ Anonymous 5:01am
Let me know what you think when you compare the Inkwell to Soot Light Inspires. I think it may be the pair I have-- they may be a bigger size mislabeled? Wishful thinking. I am going to see if there is a pair to compare at the store this week.
I just wrote you a great response & the Internet ate it :( Congrats! I wore mine thru my pregnancy. I focused on less compressive items, especially those that didn't have as tight of waistbands such as the Ebb & Flow pants & Astro WU crops. I even wore my Gather & Crow pants for quite a while. So far, everything looks good & appears to have bounced back. I also focused on CRBs, NLTs, and Tame Me Tanks (and other that look similar to the TMT, but the name escapes me). I did resort to wearing the larger of my 2 sizes in CRBs as I got bigger. I also trolled eBay for a few looser items I could wear as I got really big. There's an old post (2009, I think?) on the Lulu blog about employees wearing it their whole pregnancy. I figure if they could, I could too!
And, in full disclosure, I bought several capris & loose tanks at Old Navy in a size up so I'd have plenty of options. I teach fitness classes & help coach a running group & needed 2 outfits per day up to 37 wks.
I wore my Lulu all 9 months, even ran a 5k in my speed shorts at 37 weeks.
Anon @ 1.34pm
The plum hyperstripe is available online still. I called on Sat the Scarborough Town Centre store who said they had 2 plum ones but none of the angel wing ones. Don't know if the plum ones are still there now though.
@anon 12:11--I'm 7 months pregnant now. I can still wear my CRBs and swiftly. They don't seem to be stretched out. Regarding pants, my gather and crows are still comfortable, but WUCs are a little tight under the belly. I just pull them down a little. I no longer wear my lulu bras because the girls are huge. I just bought some C9 bras in a larger size and wear those. I hope that helps!
@anon 12:11--the power dance tank works during pregnancy. I wear mine with a bra underneath. However, I did not size down in that tank because I knew I'd wear it when I was pregnant.
@Anon 12:11, I wore power y's, no limit tanks, power dance tanks, and various crops/shorts--wunder unders, etc (pulled down as I got bigger) all through my pregnancies. I did yoga and spin in my lulu wear til the day before I delivered. All my clothes bounced back.
@anon 12:11 I wore my CRB's, NLT's, WU, and Gather Grow's throughout my entire pregnancy. Everything is back to its original shape! I also wore my Scuba's until about 7 months, but then it got warm out so i didn't need them anymore. I did not wear my DSJ, In Stride, or Defines after 4-5 months.
did anyone else see the sweatshop propaganda video lulu posted on their blog?? http://www.lululemon.com/community/blog/made-in-sri-lanka/ i'm not sure if i'm more shocked at their audacity, or impressed by how well they've pulled off working-at-a-sweat-shop-is-awesome!!! truly horrifying.
Just got my ziggy raspberry glow/plum WU, OMG, what is in that fabric, they feel amazing! In love and the reviews you gave these LLA really was the swing vote for me:)
yorkdale had several plum vinyasa tonight just before close, lots of black and a few striped (rasberry glow and the blue one). i did not see any white ones.
has anyone in canada seen any of the commuter cycling stuff?
I had the same thought about the mom pics! I love them! LLL is just so functional for my lifestyle as a stay at home home mom.
wow just reread my post and I misspelled angel I put angle how wrong! I am a horrible speller and its getting worse as I get older- all the heavy metals accumulating in my brain from the food supply ha ha- not funny though!!!!
Just wondering if the Urbanite Blazer was released in Canada? I don't usually like the bike lines that Lulu puts out but I love the asymmetrical zipper and the big collar on this jacket! I've noticed other Urbanite items, but no blazer that I can remember.
Thanks!
@ 12:11, the Still Pant is also indispensable during pregnancy.
I tried the zingy wunder unders and found then to fit loose !
I got my inkwell inspires last week and took them for two runs - love them! I bought a pair of black inspires in the spring, and these seem to have a bit more compression. They are opaque and did not show sweat marks. Got lots of compliments from my hubby, who doesn't normally comment on my running gear! Still noticing lots of loose/messy threading on the inside seams (at the waist and calf area). Had the same issue with my first black pair. I was afraid they would unravel, but so far the black ones have held up. I hope these ones do too.
Thanks Everyone for your help and suggestions. I'm so happy that I can point out to my husband that the CRB I bought on sale three days ago and my other Lululemon pieces will not go to waste during the pregnancy. :-)
@anon 12:11- Congrats! I also had the same concerns when I found out that I was pregnant (I am 7 months now.) I could wear most of my lulu tops and bottoms up to 3-4months. Then, I switched to loose fitting tops such as Practice Freely, Hot but Not Tank, Power dance tank for comfort. I am now wearing 105F singlet with bras more often. I can still wear my WUP although I started feel awkward and tight around my belly. None of my lulu tops & bottoms stretched out. But I am not sure about other materials such as cotton/fleece. I hope that you can enjoy exercising throughout your pregnancy :)!
12:11- 35 weeks here, second pregnancy as a Lulu addict :) my crbs are much better than 90% of maternity tanks and I wore them up to delivery last time and will this time as well. Also wearing power ys (both old and new styles) and NLT.
I am still wearing my in strides, daily yoga and even my voyage hoodie. Also wearing still crops, still pants, clam diggers, WU, DSC, grooves, basically all my regular pants/crops. Have given up on all my of my shorts except this old school pair of "knock out" shorts I bought last pregnancy and a pair of "work it out"s from summer.
Just bought the full tilt pullover. Perfect for maternity! And I wear a vinyasa scarf almost daily.
Hth
Vaughan Mills in Toronto had lots of angel wing vinyasa last Friday. You might still be able to get one this week.
I'm in Canada - Give me Qi pants have been in stores for at least a week now (out West anyhow). I'm also wondering if the Urbanite jacket is coming here...sometimes I find we are a week or so behind in receiving items posted on this blog :(
Any advice on which bra to pair with my ebb to street tank? Besides the obvious ebb to street bra that is. Any help is appreciated. Thanks :)
