Sea Wheeze Volunteer Tee Shirt

Sorry for my blurry photos. These are the shirts the Sea Wheeze volunteers got this year. They are Every Yogi Tees (!!! My favorite - why can't these make a comeback to the product line?)  Thanks to Ms. M. for letting me photo her shirt.

What's with the price tag? Do the volunteers have to buy their own t-shirt? I would love to get my hands on one of those tees, as usual one of the nicest Sea Wheeze items I've seen (besides the plaid competitor shorts, loved that plaid!) I wasn't crazy for all the colour combos this year...

Have a good run today LLA! Wish I was there too!

Good luck LLA st Sea Wheeze! Now way OT, I received an email notification from YS letting me know that my Slimmies have been shipped. A few months back, I ordered and received a pair of Slimmies in sz 6 (my size in LL pants) but I had to send them back because they were too baggy in the crotch area. I reordered a 4 but I think I read somewhere that YS tweaked their sizes to be more in line with Lululemon. I'm just hoping the 4 isn't too small now!

It's so pretty! I love it.

does anyone know if the pace setter sea check skirt will come to the US stores or website? thanks so much - i'm so close to buying it on ebay but they are so marked up - i would just rather not.

Is that Quiet Stripes??!

Last year didn't we see items similar to those at the race coming out in the regular product line? Like you, I love the every yogi t-shirt. With the recent Lululemon-crisis (terrible designs) I have been stalking my favorite items in consignment stores. I really hope that this is the beginning of a return to the Lulu quality and design I fell in love with.

I hope you had a great race today. My husband and I ran today and are looking forward to the sunset festival tonight. Looking forward to seeing your seawheeze photos when your wifi is working.

Congrats on the race! Thanks for the amazing blog.

First anonymous poster: No, the volunteers were each given a shirt (and a choice of meal/beverage at the festival) -- the men's Volun-cheer had the Mountie on an orca instead :)

I suppose all lululemon product, even if it is gifted, has a Why We Made This tag on it.

(I ran the race and volunteered on a closing shift at the festival … partly because I wanted a shirt. Dancing to Xavier Rudd was also a plus :)

Anon at 7:23 OT Yoga Smoga- I had the same thing. I wear a lulu size 6 and the yoga smoga 6 I got were weir I returned them for the size 4. They must have changed their sizing because the size 4 was way to small and totally sheer. Hopefully you have better luck!

Yeah I agree w/ the sentiment of lulu's dark days w/ ms. day are hopefully over? Seems like things are getting a bit better if that is coincidence or not remains to be seen however. I would really love to see a longer length cotton hoody though!!!! since we are going into fall i'm hoping to see one and I will pounce upon an upload get two sizes too because i'd be willing to bet that such an item will sell out in minutes- those scuba stretches make everyone look like their rear ends are huge and their torso is squaty not a look I am looking to emulate- ha ha ha ha ha ha

@anon 10:01. I think the US will get the sea check pace setter. The US site sometimes gets things a week after the Canadian side, and vice versa. I would hold out on eBay because it will likely be uploaded on the US site tomorrow night.

OT question re the 105 singlet -- can anyone who ordered the rasp glo tell me how the sizing this go around compares to the last 2 releases of this tank? I sized down in the past 2 releases, but found the scalloped edge version to be an almost size down 2 sizes item, whereas the later ones were one size down.

Im hoping they are released tonight and would prefer to not order 2 sizes since last week was a sellout -- thanks!

I got my YS slimmie pants and they fit great and are amazingly compressive. The hubby likes the way they make my behind look. Only problem is they are about 4" too long. Not sure if its worth sending them back. I don't want to wait another 2 months to get them back from hemming. If it wasn't for the unheard of wait time I would've ordered some crops as well.

Only a few stores in Canada got the pace setters in sea check and sizes seamed to be limited...mostly talls. I don't think these will be uploaded tomorrow. I had to go to 4 lulu stores and only 1 had a few of them.

LLA I hope that you had a great race!!

OT: I went into my local store this weekend to return my Blue Moon Energy Tank and ended up leaving with the Universal Wrap in black swan and black. I didn't expect to like it because I usually end up feeling overwhelmed by all the extra fabric on similar styles, but somehow this one seemed to work for me. I tried on my tts and one size down and ended up buying one size down. There wasn't a huge difference between the two sizes, to be honest, but the fit across the back looked a tiny bit better in one size down.

Tried on a WUP that I hadn't seen before in Love Red with twin stipe/love red waist band. Sheerest pants I've ever tried. I was wearing light blue underwear and you could see them, front and back, when I was standing straight up. In downward dog, I might as well have been naked. I didn't bother trying to size up because it was so terrible that I can't imagine one size (or even 2 or 3) helping.

Tried on the full on luon WUPs, too. Slightly sheer in a full bend in my preferred size (I measure a 6 in the hips and between a 6 and an 8 at the waist; "prefer" the fit of a 6), but guessing that sizing up to an 8 might help with the sheerness in this instance because it wasn't terrible. Didn't love them and don't really need more WUP so I didn't try them in an 8 to see for sure.

Also received my midnight iris crb and all sport bra. I'm on the fence. The print is nice and subtle, and I actually like it much better in person than online. The back side of the CRB is grey with split pea stitching, and the print does not turn grey/white when stretched. However, the CRB is over 90% polyester (I think it's 94%, but I can't remember for certain), so I know that it's probably not going to breathe well.

What size did you get? I am thinking of ordering their slimmies- but being hesitant since I heard they've changed their sizing. I wear size 4 groove pants (tiny bit loose on me) should I order YS size 4?? TIA!

I was just at the 75th & Broadway NYC location around 3:30pm today and they had the sea check speeds available in all sizes. In case anyone is interested! Also, I tried on the pin and tuck rulu shirt. Very soft but looked like a maternity shirt on me. I had the right size - if I sized down the sleeve hems probably would have popped! The plum color is gorgeous but I'm not pregnant and don't feel like answering the question at the moment! Does anyone know if we will be getting an NLT tank in blue moon solid or plum solid?

OT Yoga Smoga - I ordered pants in a 4 based on their "old" size chart. When I received them they were more in line with Lulu sizing, and I needed a 6. Too tight. Too shiny. I stupidly tore off the tags right as I received them since I had been waiting 3+ months for these pants. Since I removed the tags they refused to do an exchange...despite me sending an email within a couple days of delivery. I understand policy, blah, blah - and it is my fault for removing the tags, but was still slightly annoyed. So I guess I'll find a friend or a consignment store for these pants. I really didn't care for the material anyway...not sure that sizing up would have solved that.

I received my Slimmie from YS as well, I love the fabric. I asked them about the sizing and apparently each of the sizes has undergone a nip and tuck to fit better. I'm not sure of what they meant by that, but I had a great chat with the designer Rose, who helped me find out what size would fit best for my body type. I can't wait to go for a run with them.

@1:06 you are so right about the new tuck and flow top being so Maternity looking...it's way to much fabrics for a work out top. Definitely FUGLY.

I got my YS tippy toe leggings. I'm between a 4 and a 6 in Lulu and got both to try out for size. The 4s fit a little on the tight side and were slightly sheer on the bend test. The 6 fit perfectly and I'm keeping those. I really love the material. It's compressive and smooths out imperfections so they're very flattering. I will definitely buy more!!!

I got my 2nd yogasmoga order on Saturday. Only placed the order a week prior. I am in LOVE with the Yantra tank. The fabric is awesome and it fits like it was made for me. Compared to a CRB.. I like the YS wider straps to cover up my sports bra. When I wear CRBs they always stretch out when sweaty and I am having to adjust the neckline and straps. No adjusts with the Yantra tank. I will be ordering another one in black. I hope YS comes out with a purple !

I am hoping Plum WUC gets uploaded tonight. I am kicking myself for not getting them during the last run of Plum/ Bordeaux

@ 1:08pm - Same thing happened with my YS pants. I wouldn't order from them again - too much hassle and the product isn't worth it, in my opinion.

Here in the Toronto area, every lulu I went to had check speeds and pacesetters. Most were available in all sizes, both regular and tall.

I have been waiting for months and months for my YS crops!! I have one pair of the "old"sizing and got a size smaller because the fit was larger. Well they "nipped and tucked" and I need my original size!! I am frustrated! If the crops aren't perfect...I doubt I would ever buy from them again...even at $40/each. I have been waiting since April!!!

I bought a 2. I'm 5'4" 110 lbs 32-25-33.5. I feel like they fit like my az 4 grooves except they are super compressive thru the butt and thighs. I love them except the length. After closer inspection they sent me a 2 tall. That explains why they are easily 4 or 5" too long.
