NEW! Speed Tights, Karma LS, and More

New Plum Speed Tights made of power luxtreme.

The black shirt was identified as a Karma LS but I don't have any other info on it yet.

Some hyper stripe and fat stripe pairing with the Plum Pace Setter skirt.

I got the solid Plum No Limit Tank today. The edging is in the Plum/Inkwell hyperstripe pattern but it's horizontal so it looks more like inkwell edging. If you like Plum and NLTs you really need to check this one out.

Plum Skinny Will pants

Pique, Plum, and Ziggy print Skinny Will pants
Pique Skinny Wills and Blue Moon Scoop Neck

Check out the Plum Wee Space Scuba hood

The new Swiftly LS and half zips. I tried on the Plum Swiftly LS today, it's very soft and thick - super nice.

Did anyone else notice the new pattern and fabric the model is wearing in the picture for the black Nice Aasana Jacket? It looks similar to the black color in the Swiftly Tech fabric, which is always more like a heathered charcoal.
I really like it and hope it's uploaded soon.

Yes, that Plum NLT will be mine, and I am not even that much into plum! What I REALLY want to be uploaded on the US side, are the three Give Me QI pants that have been on the Canadian site for almost two weeks now.

saw the karma ls in store yesterday. nothing special just vitasea with no extra details. nice basic but I prefer my devotion ls and promenade ls.

Were the plum skinny will pants online?

@2:42 I have been regularly checking my stores and asking the educators about the Give me Qi pants and no one seems to have heard of them. I don't understand why, as an educator, you wouldn't keep up on at least what was uploaded on Mondays in North America. OK, venting over, but I really want to try those pants.

I received my Angel Wing Forme 2 jacket yesterday and it's just ok. I think I may exchange it for the inkwell one which looks amazing but it is really hard to get one where the stripes are placed properly.

I was suprised how much I liked the fluffin vest. since I live in a place with endless winter, I love high collars but I'll have to see how warm it is.

Plum running tights!!! Exactly what I've been hoping for. Anyone know the price? I think most tights are around $92/$98?

Anonymous said...

Yes, still waiting for the Give Me Qi pants too!
Any clue on the price point for there speed tights?

Anonymous said...

ooh, any try on reviews for the plum full-length run tights? I kind of LOVE them!! It's still 104 degrees here, but I want them anyway. :) (That is, if they offer good coverage and compression!!)

Plum skinny will pants! Been waiting for this. I wasn't a fan of the Bordeaux a few years ago but I'm obsessed with plum!

I got my ziggy wee Sept wup today and I have to say mine aren't even slightly sheer. The material is certainly different than any other winder under ive had. They are very very soft and smooth feeling but not shiny in any way. I don't know if mine are less sheer than others because of my build or what? I fit on size chart in a 4 waist but 2 in hips. So maybe its just because I have no junk in trunk. Bought sz 4 in these. I also got pique wills which are so thick and soft and compressive it feels like wearing a cozy blanket. Love them. And lastly I got exhalation po. Now I really wish id bought both colors before sold out in my size. It lays beautifully in the back unlike some of the ed pics. Also heavenly soft and can be dressed up or down IMO.

OT. Have anyone seen the Amped Tank on sale in stores? The are selling for an average of $40 on ebay NWT and there are quite a few of them, so I'm wondering if the sellers got them at a discount in stores.
Usually the markdowns hit stores first, I've heard.

Anonymous said...

Yes I saw amped tanks marked down to $49 I think. That was at the suburban square store in Ardmore PA which is just outside Philadelphia. I don't recall it being all colors though.

Hey all,

Have the plum skinny will pants hit your stores yet? They haven't hit the 2 stores closest to me, and I am dying to get my hands on a pair. Do you think they'll be uploaded this week??

Anonymous said...

I exchanged my plum and ziggy wee hi-low WUs today for the plum and ziggy wee Skinny Wills. Much better compression.

I always thought the Amped tank looked a little weird with that cumberband thingy, plus it was that weird material I don't like (shows sweat stains like crazy). It also looked like it might take a feat of engineering to extricate myself from one of those after it was all sweaty.

I like the look of the new Speed tights, will definitely try on before I buy (learned my lesson with all the sheerness probs and CT issues as well as the recent sizing irregularities).

Speaking of which, I wore my new Plum Energy bra to run 9 miles today. I was a little concerned because it is smaller than my other bras in that same size (the plum color, for some reason runs small, and I had washed and removed the tags earlier without knowing that!). Thank God, it worked out fine. Although it was a little tighter, I was able to squeeze my sausage rolls in there. It did come down a little lower, and it created a little cleavage since the girls were so mashed together, but at least I was able to salvage my $50 investment, and it looked darn cute with my Sea Check Fast Cat skirt. I don't know if I would wear it for a really long run, though.

I hope the speed tights aren't terribly long! I would like to get some new ones, but I don't want to have to hem them. They look cute in the photo.

OT -- I just received the midnight iris energy bra in the mail today, and it fits very tight! I didn't read any comments about this one online, so I assumed it was the usual size, but I compared it to some of my other ones from earlier this year, and it is almost 1/2 an inch shorter in the band. So I guess I need to send it back now, since I'm not going to wear it because I feel like it's suffocating me! That sucks. Did anyone else notice that with the midnight iris color?

I also got the swiftly 1/2 zip in plum, and I think that will be going back too. Partly because I'm not a huge fan of swiftlys (but I thought I'd try it). It is very long on me (I'm 5'3''), tight in the upper arms, and the color isn't that beautiful in the swiftly material. I would much rather spend that money on new crops :)

I recently received the midnight iris form II also, and I'm debating about it. I really like the fit, and the color is beautiful. I think it is overpriced though (not worth $108, when defines were $99), and the material is thin like others have said. I think it would be ok for running, but I would have to try it out. Also, the sleeves are very long on me.

I'm also sending back the DSJ in plum (I like my DSJ from last year better), and the midnight iris speed shorts (I looooove them! But the 2-way stretch isn't as flattering - I probably should have ordered a size up).

I feel like I've bought too much stuff recently, and I feel guilty about it! I think I need an intervention! For real, I have a real addiction problem! At least we might all be in the same rehab facility in a few months! (Ha, Lulu rehab... that would be funny!)

thanks so much to who ever posted that the mad ave store had the skinny wills in pique - LOVE them! they are diff from my coco pique so totally justified in getting them. i took a pic to show the diff but i'm not sure how to post it here. also the PS in plum is BEAUTIFUL! for some reason they had no talls and i went to 3 stores in nyc - i really hope it's uploaded on monday and that there is not quality issue - has anyone by chance seen it in the Tall version? also, got the NLT in plum - i really prefer the original flow and go for my yoga practice but i have a few NLTs and this color is gorgeous. so now my only "must have" is the PS in plum - then i have to be done for a while - so glad to see lulu is getting back to some great stuff!

I am SO tempted to stop buying lulu, after being a loyal customer for the past five years. Bought a pair of ITF II crops in Inkwell three weeks ago. I wore them twice and there's snags all over and the fabric is literally UNRAVELING. Went to my store and the eds said that there's nothing they can do since the return/exchange policy is 14 days. Ridiculous... I didn't pay $80 for a crop that can't stand two very light (literally a walk around the neighbourhood with my dog) uses.

I was worried about the plum energy bra, but my normal 6 fit just fine. I was very disappointed in the plum crb! I have 12+ CRBs and this one was so thin :( going back. I would say the ziggy WUP felt different, someone said like pantyhose & I agree but with black undies they passed the forward bend test so I may keep them. Wish I had gotten the piqué wills. I'm hoping for WUC in pique!!

@Kay - I know the hi/low wunder unders were in my store but I forgot to look for the amped. If they weren't uploaded last week I bet they will hit the upload this week.

Anon@1:08, I too need a 12 step recovery program if not Lulu Rehab. I am obsessed! I am constantly checking this site when I'm not not on the Lulu website! Sometimes, I will have tabs going for both at the same time and ping pong back and forth. And no, I can't quit at any old time! Help! Lately, I've been widening my addiction by perusing the Ivivva site!

Hello, my name is Anonymous, and I am a Luluaholic...

1. Mystery top is something like 65-70% polyester, ~25% viscose and i think ~5% stretch (lycra or similar).
2. Yes, educators are idiots. I cannot stand how they talk to me as if I have not even a basic understanding of workout wear, even if I'm standing there in full workout wear having come from training or cycling. And, ahem, the girls are not always the fittest themselves.
3. @Anon 1:17: The fabric on my Voyage hoodie pockets is disintegrating. I took it in today and aforementioned annoying educator refused to accept return because they have no warranty or quality assurance with merchandise. I was shocked given that years ago their policy was SO good — if you brought it in damaged, they'd fix it. The zipper went on one of my friend's hoodies and they gave him a new one. Now I've got a $100 hoodie that's two months old whose pockets are falling apart and they want nothing to do with it. I'm going to try again online, though, and see if that works...

@anon 1:16 I am so glad that they still had skinny wills in pique at madison ave store (i was worried they would sell our after i posted the info here) - they are fantastic!

Can I ask a newbie question? What does Piqué mean?

Anonymous said...

Kay, South Coast So CA had the plum skinny wills along with the piqué & the karma long sleeve out of vitasea. Pasadena So CA had the piqué but hadnt heard of the plum sw both had lots of the vests I've already got those in three colors so I passed on those they both had plenty of plum NLT racer backs & ITF crops Melody
oh they also still have the tech mesh tights there too

Does anyone else find that the educators in their local stores know less than we do about their own products? It drives me nuts when they come up to me, and try and explain one of the features of the item I'm looking at. I bite my tongue, but always feel like telling them I know more about their own merchandise than they do. Yesterday I went in and asked the educator where the Journey crops were, since I got my store notification that they were in. She stared at me blankly.. so I said "you know, the one with the mesh in the back of the legs"... then she asked another educator, because she had no clue what I was talking about.

Anyway.... frustrating sometimes!! //end rant :)

@anon 10:59 - i'm not sure where you are - but they had the plum skinny wills at the mad ave store in nyc today

Anonymous said...

@anon 1:17 - that is such a bummer. it is just so annoying how condescending the EDs can be sometimes - i think it's b/c they all go off the same script but - the sad thing is if it had been atheletica or many many other brands they would have given you a credit or another pr of crops - it's truly embarrassing for lll.

Fourth photo down: why is her hip so square? Is that a phone in a hidden pocket?

Hey anon 5:37, I was going to post the exaaaaact same thing! I feel like we know far more than the educators! When they come up to me and start talking about the fabrics/features and what a garment is specifically for, I sort of just want to say "oh I know all that already" but I just nod lol. The other time I asked an ed if they had the speed shorts in sea check and she gave me the most blankest stare! So I said.. umm.. the plaid patterned ones? LOL. Guess some are just in it for a job and not because they care about the products? Or maybe we are just addicted to the point where we know too much, haha.

I seriously need an intervention too. Feeling ridiculously guilty of all my latest purchases, and yet I STILL have my eyes on the plum NLT. geeeez!

@anon 6:28 i bet it's the hang tag.

I feel sorry for your return experience in the store....I've had great service with returns, exchanges on both new and worn products that didn't hold up. My area store staff is beyond wonderful. You should really call LLL Customer Service and I'm sure they would take it back or at the very least give you store credit.

Thanks all for the help! Got my plum skinny wills and absolutely love them!

I confess that I am becoming an addict as well! My collection has really grown this year alone.

I'm curious though because compared to what some ladies say they order each week I don't think I have that much lulu but thought it would be cool to see exactly how many lulu pieces others actually have.

My tally is 70 pieces total - includes everything, clothing, bags, water bottles, underwear, headbands - throw it all in! I mostly have tanks (20) and crops (13).

Someone asked if the Plum Pace Setter came in Tall? Yes, definitely. I got mine in a Toronto store, so for sure they are available in Canada. Likely to be in the US soon.

Anon educator here--for the anons saying their ITF crop and Voyage were not up to quality standards and were falling apart we HAVE to take them back and damage them out.

Call GEC or ask to speak to the floor leader.

your my people ha ha ha ha i'm so giggling and agreeing w/ the sentiments of knowing "a lot" "too much" "more than the so called educators" ha ha ha, I too fall so into this categorie "lulu addict"!!! not proud either just stating fact ;), anyways the gals at my store are not very nice and its kind of irritating really! makes me not want to shop there! I called one day to see if they had the chai pullover and she claimed very limited size color she sounded so strange I decided to come in and check for myself, and low and behold the table was stacked w/ a ton, she saw me and claimed she was sorry and they had more in the back? um hum ya right I was thinking? anyhow don't know about these girls at my store they are kind of beyond irritating I don't know if its generational or what but if they don't do a better job w/ who represents them then they will have problems down the road. imo!

Anonymous said...

I too am noticing less educated "educators" in the stores. If I come in the store in full lulu gear, please do not try to explain to me how wonderful Inspire crops are - I wanted to say "look girlfriend, I'm WEARING Inspires!" but I bit my tongue. Then, a sales girl who I've seen and talked to many, many times before, tries to explain to me the "rip out tag" feature as I'm checking out. I must've looked confused because she actually SHOWED me the rip out tag on the swiftly I was buying. The look of confusion wasn't because I didn't understand the concept of the rip out tag, it was because I could not possibly fathom how she thought that I didn't know that. I've been shopping there for 3 years, she's worked there 6 months, and she's the expert? Let's not even discuss the other girl who saw me buying lots of plum and mentioned "oh, yeah, we had maroon last year", and I said "yes, bordeaux drama, I bought several items." She thinks for a moment and says "no, that wasn't it. It was maroon." Siiiiiigh.

Anonymous said...

I got Skinny Will Pants in both Pique and Plum today, and I love BOTH, cannot be happier. I'm in between sizes, I bought the pique size down and plum size up (coz the material is a bit thin but I love the color too much to miss it). I think the plum is a much better color than the bordeaux last year, and I've already gotten several plum items!

I love all the comments about the addiction and knowing more than the ED. Those are the first 2 red flags indicating that there is a problem.
The third is looking in your dresser or closet and finding out that there is nothing but lulu in the workout collection. Checking the lulu addict site and the lulu website simultaneously indicates advanced addiction. Now I just have to admit that I have a problem.
