LA Is Getting a Warehouse Sale in September!!!

Check it out, LA is getting a warehouse sale in a few weeks. Not sure if I can make it or that I want the hassle of driving up there. I will have to think on it.

People who have been to warehouse sales, is it worth it?

I went on the last day of the warehouse sale in Chicago in January 2012. COMPLETELY worth it. Lots of room to move, short lines, no crazy crowds. Prices were the most slashed and still an abundance of a range of sizes. Bras were around $10, shorts $15-20, hoodies were $35-40. I got 4 bras, 2 pairs of Speed Shorts, 2 pairs of Biker Groove Shorts, and a Cuddle Up Jacket for $130. One of the speed shorts are an awesome laser-cut turquoise color that people are constantly asking me where I bought.

Thanks so much for posting this LLA. I'm definitely going to go since LA Convention Center is totally accessible for me, especially via Metro. I don't think I need anything since I mainly shop md racks anyway, but just want to experience it for the first time.

I wish we'd get one of these in Seattle! I went to the Title 9 warehouse/clearance extravaganza a few months ago. It was so worth it. I got 7 bathing suit pieces for almost the cost of one bathing suit. All tops and bottoms were $12, and they were brands like Carve, Prana, and Patagonia. Sigh!

I think it would be worth it for you LLA. The only reason I'd be concerned about this Warehouse Sale is due to the recent quality control issues. I fear that Lulu might try to get rid of some of the "lemons" where there is no return policy. If one knows the quality control issues to watch out for, one should be alright. I went to one of the early warehouse sales in 2007 or 2008. I would suggest arriving early, bringing along a buddy to hold your place in line in case a bathroom break is needed, and wearing clothes that are easy to slide in and out of in public if necessary. The "change rooms" are a nightmare so it's easiest to try things on over top of clothing.,

Anon 2:35, that was EXACTLY what I was thinking - I'm so hesistant to attend any lululemon warehouse sale (if there were any nearby) due to all the ridiculous quality issues that have been happening. Who knows if they will try to sell all their recalled products or sheer pants to unknowing customers....

The change room at the Title 9 event was a big, communal curtained off area--think Loehman's (with people flapping curtains randomly in and out). I didn't care. I was pretty much nekkid except for my panties, and I was hell bent on trying on bathing suits. You lose a certain amount of modesty being a runner and doing any overnight relays. It's not like I'm an exhibitionist, but I love a good deal!

I don't think it's worth it this year. I live in LA and won't be attending because let's face it, the quality in the last year+ has especially blown. I think anon at 2:35 pm is spot on that a good amount of the merchandise will be the lemons that were pulled from stores, heck never even made it to the B&M stores and online site. So many ill-fitting items, sheer leggings, thin luon, schlepping myself to downtown LA will not be happening.

Quality over quantity is my mantra, but that's just me!

Cool- i live in Chicago but will be in LA for work at that exact time. Will have to try to get there!!

Do they tend to have size 12? I feel like they offer a fewer items in my size so don't want to waste my time if they won't.

Long Island WHS was amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, LLA it is completely worth it. I drove 4 hours from Boston and could not have been happier. I bought speed shorts, boogie shorts, groove pants, swiftlies, astro pants, and more!! Love all of it and suuuch great prices!

I went to Long Island's warehouse sale very soon after I "got into" LLL. Wish I knew then what I know now. Lots of Seawheeze stuff that didn't sell. I had a great time and would recommend going. You never know what you are going to get. All items had stickers that were color coded for price. To the best of my recollection- outerwear was $99, jackets (not in outerwear category) were $69, pants were $59, crops were $49, shirts (long and short sleeve) $39, tanks were $29, shorts and skirts were $29, bras were $22 and 8 think accessories were $4 and maybe some $9 ones. They had various "deals" towards the end of the sale toclear out what wasn't selling. There was a lot of crap people didn't want but definitely some good stuff in there. There was also quite a bit of Ivviva stuff there. We were limited to 30 pieces.

At the Chicago Warehouse sale they had more size 10s and 12s than you could imagine. Very little in the tiny sizes. I was there the first day and was one of the first ones in and it was amazing. Then went back the last day and all size 10s and 12s were buy one get one FREE. It was ridic.

Awesome!!! I was so bummed I couldn't fly out to Chicago when they had the WHS. I'm from NorCal but will be in Vegas for the week before the sale. I'm driving down to LA, staying at a cousin's, and we're all calling in sick to go on Friday! So excited!! I'll be posting vids and pics on my IG acct: frvzntyogini if you want to see it in action. =)

Yay! Bummed I couldn't make it to the one in Chicago a while back. I'm from NorCal, but will be in Vegas for a week before heading to LA on Thurs, crashing at my cousin's, and then we're all calling in sick to take a Lulu Day! I'll be taking pics and vid and will post on my IG acct: frvzntyogini if you want to see the action. =) Thanks for the 411, LLA!

I went to the Vancouver warehouse sale in January (on the Saturday) - decent prices and size selection! I would go again in a heartbeat if it came (geographically) close to me again.

A friend who went on Friday said the selection was best that morning (obviously) but the prices were at their highest. On Saturday when I was there (inside for about 2 hours picking through racks and trying things on) the prices dropped once. So things I had picked up thinking were going to cost $50 dropped to $40 by the time I was ready to pay. (I guess if you could stall ALL DAY on Saturday you might get good selection in the AM and then wait to pay at the end of the day! That would be a looong day.) I heard by Sunday morning things like turbo shorts were buy one get one free.

It was really good for picking up items I wouldn't have paid full price for but were still useful to me - I got a cycling jersey that I wear quite a bit (and get SO many compliments on!) and I got a great deal on it.

I say it's worth it for sure. My advice is to a) pee before you go in (there were no bathrooms at the Vancouver sale...had to leave your finds on the floor and hope no one rifled through them! No thanks.) and b) situate yourself in the group change rooms nearest the "put away" table labelled with your size. My best find (a SE scuba) in Vancouver was scooped off that table because someone but it back. Get it before it goes back on the floor!

Have fun!!
