Hyperstripe Run For Your Life Crops and More
I'm also dying to try on the new Astro Shorts. It's been awhile since luluelmon put out a more relaxed leg opening in luon shorts. Shown with the Hustle and Bustle tank in the top photo.

I tried on the hyperstripe waistband and they are reversible to black band but still sheer. I think the Astro shorts are a size down, unfortunately they didn't have a smaller size for me to try one.
Do the midnight iris wunder wunders have that shiny, thin, polyester feel to them? Wondering how see through they are..
I don't know why anyone would want horizontal stripes on their legs...I saw the blue moon scuba, it's cute, but why is it offered after the release of the other blue moon scubs which is nearly identical? Weird.
I tried on a few of the new items yesterday.
Astro shorts- TTS. Flattering cut of the leg. I not in love with the Astro style waistband. It's kind of bulky. Fabric felt thick and a bit stiff.
Midnight Iris WU Pant- Before I could even get in the dressing room the GEC informed me that if the pants looks shinny it's suppose to be that way since the pattern is screen printed. I thought "maybe it's suppose to be that way but that doesn't mean it's going to look good"
They weren't shinny and didn't get white when I bent over. I did size up.
RFYL Crop hyperstripe. I have a few pairs of these from their last appearance. The new pair felt more stretchy and I went down to a 4. My other pairs are 6. I like these but don't know how much wear I would get out of them in these funky colors so they might get returned.
@anon 12:11 thanks for letting me know they are sheer, i was wondering! I don't understand why they put out the improved fabrics (full on and lux) in the WUP then went back to the sheer black Luon?! Annoying, because I like the waistband on those! Guess if we want coverage we're stuck with plain old black :(
No offense to the GEs in these pics, but the RFYL crops in this raspberry hyperstripe combo seem to give everyone a wider, larger appearing backside. Not flattering or cute IMO.
Lulu likes to do a lot of horizontal stripe patterns and I think they really need to test their stripe patterns more carefully. Sometimes they do it right and flattering/butt uplifting, like the Coal Strata and Quiet Stripe WUs from years past. Sometimes they don't, as seen in this crop. I'm staying away from this raspberry hyperstripe pattern personally. The super tiny stripes do nothing to flatter one's figure or backside.

7:07 your comment is interesting. I think the lady in the run for your life crop looks good. I also really like the pattern and the color combination, I am sitting on the fence regarding the crops. I have a pair from last year and love running in those. It goes to show how different our perceptions are.

I tried on the new rasp glo long sleeve swiftly yesterday. Does anyone else think the material is different? Thicker, more durable, less snag-able, but also might be warmer/less breathable? I didn't mind because it reminded me of similar tops from Gap, which I like better, but I'm curious.
@7:46 the Blue Moon/Striped Scuba is at several of the stores in the Chicago area. I know both Northbrook and the Southport store have them. I picked up one yesterday and love it. Fit is TTS.
Are the Midnight Iris WU the same material as the CRB? I ordered the CRB, and it looked like something made out of Grandma's nightgown, so it's going back. The pants look ok in the pictures though, so I'm not sure.
I just bought the hyper stripe run for your life crops and they fit great! I like them a lot and plan on using them soon
