Dharna Crop and More

Dharna crop. Shown with the Raspberry Glo/Plum Hyperstripe Power Y.

Raspberry Glo/Plum Hyperstripe Energy Tank. Shown with the Sea Check plaid Pace Setter skirt.

Blue Moon Race Me LS. I tried this top on yesterday. I thought it fit TTS but was on the warm side.

Chai Time Pullover and Midnight Iris Wunder Under Pants.

Race Me LS and Plum Hyperstripe Run For Your Life crops. I tried the crops on yesterday and loved them. They were opaque in my TTS but I was wearing nude underwear. They weren't super compressive but very soft and silky.

The new Fast Cat Skirts.

Men's Surge shorts in camo print and Plum.

Some camo for the ladies please!!!!!!

@ anon 4:49 am - I was thinking that when I saw that photo, too. Camo print lulu goes for big bucks on ebay. Camo is supposed to be in for this fall, surprised lulu isn't re-releasing some for the ladies.

I'm confused after reading all the reports on the new DSJ. The previous version was definitely a size up item. Are the new ones TtS or size up? Thanks!

whatever happened to the Inkwell Hyperstripe RFYL crops? i tried on the Plum, but would prefer the Inkwell. i know i saw them on some postings here or on lulumom. did they sell out at upload? or have they not been uploaded yet? i went to my local store yesterday and they only had the plum hyperstripe and black.

That woman is totally rocking a crane!! Impressive :-)

@ anon 9:44 am - I am reading it runs bigger but not enough to take a different size from your regular DSJ size.

I picked up the Inkwell RFYL crops at my store this past week. I don't think they have been uploaded yet.

Anonymous said...

OOOPs! Actually, it wasn't the Indigo RFYL crops I just bought, but the Inspire crops.

I don't remember seeing inkwell striped rfyls. I was on the site during the upload and didn't see them then, and my store (chicago burbs) hasn't had them either.

Maybe they were on lulumum and have been uploaded to the canada side? That's the only thing I can think of.

I am in Australia and bought the dsj on Friday. I do not have the earlier version, so cannot compare to that but I did buy my usual size. I do not like very fitted tops and had been prepared to size up but I found my normal size that I wear for nearly all tops, scubas, crb etc was a perfect fit..it's fitted but not tight and very flattering (I really just tried the jacket on out of curiosity, had no real intention of buying it, but once it was on..well, I had to have it! :) )
Hope that helps you a bit,
Cheers

ooh, I want inkwell ROTYLs...I tried on the berry ones, but they were just too loud for me. Fingers crossed they come to the U.S.! :)

The pics with the steps in the background look like our local showroom (Tulsa, OK). Fun! I am super interested in the stile Fast Cat. The check just doesn't appeal to me in that skirt.

Did the Dharna crop come out in Canada yet? They are adorable!!!! The material looks like Luon - anyone know for sure what the material is? Also, did the new Dance Studio Jackets come out in Canada? I have one from a few years ago and I LOVE it - another color (like the plum) would be great!

LuluAddict said...

@ anon 6:28 am - they are made of luon. The style reminds me of Relaxed Fit crops a bit - wider leg and zipper back pocket. The DSJs are coming to Canada soon, very soon.

Groovy runs in sea check were at U village in Seattle, FYI. Sometimes I'm between 4 a 6 and needed a 6 in these, 4s were really tight.

Yay! I would love to get those crops in black and the DSJ in plum :-)

DSJ was available in the Oshawa, Ontario Lululemon on Saturday. I picked up mine in a size up from my scuba hoodie size. Although the scuba size fit it was just a little snugger than I cared for.

One of the things I love about this blog is the great feedback and try on reviews. It's especially helpful when determining which size to order online. If the DSJ is uploaded this week, I'll definitely be pouncing on it! I'm still a bit stumped deciding whether or not to get a 4 or 6. I have the Scuba, Voyage, Forme and Define all in a 4. The snuggest of all of those is the Define, and my favourite fitting one of those is the Voyage. I would like the DSJ to fit similarly to the Voyage. Should I size up to a 6 or stick to my usual 4?
Thanks in advance ladies! :)

I really appreciate this blog and comments on how things fit. I just got a size 6 Tall Pacesetter in that plaid pattern. Too small! And my other order ... the new black mesh tights in a size 6 ... too big. Both are going back, and I live no where near a store - and of course the size I DO want, is sold out. Bah! I get the feeling I won't get around to it and both will sit in a corner in my closet.

Hey, I don't own a DSJ yet, nor do i own a scuba hoodie. I wear a 6 in everything lulu. I have a define and a street to studio jacket and they are both 6' s. I really want to order a DSJ, but don't know which size to order. Should I order a 6 in that as well? please help! :)

I saw some pervious pics regarding the still pants in that wine colour... I called the GEC and asked about sizing of the new stills, asking if I was a certain size in those pants, would I remain the same as in the new version? The girl tells me....she has NO IDEA what new still pants Im talking about. lol.... I tell her about your blog and shes completely clueless as to what Im talking about. So the pic of the wine coloured still pants, are they still pants or called something else?! Im asking, because the GEC called those pants a completely different name! lol.... Still grounded pant I think is what she said they were called in previous pics posted. Are they still pants or still grounded pants?! -Confused.....

i'd kill for camo on the women's side!! I wasn't into LLL the last time Camo was released, and I don't want to pay 6-10X regular price for camo items on ebay.

How much are the DJSs retailing for?

I picked up the tuck and flow in plum in an 8 and didn't realize how tight the arms were until I got home!

I love it! But I am hoping that the arms will relax over time!

Anyone wear their tuck and flow yet and can comment!?

Dharna crop, does anyone know how they cinch in the bottom of the pant leg? Online, they aren't cinched, but after seeing them on here, I think they are something if wear!

I say stay tts in dsj!!

I picked up the Dharna crop yesterday. No sure if I can keeping them. TTS.
There is a drawstring in the hem of the pant leg. I couldn't get it to look at good as it does in the pictures here. They are low rise and the waist band is kind of astro style..it's kind of busy and bulky. I like the look of the wider crop leg though.
Also tried on the Fast Cat skirt...the plaid was really busy and has a naughty school girl look. Not for me. I would consider it in another color but the store only had Black and I'm still in my love affair with my Black Hot Hitter skirt.

Jennifer Bonner... I am in Philly and emailing you.. Nicole

I finally got to check out the chai time II pullover and was disappointed in the material. I thought it would be thicker. It feels like it will pill easily so I passed. :(

Was lucky to get a pair of black track attack shorts in black for $39 though so I left feeling happy.

Still haven't taken the tags off my sea check speed shorts. Even though everytime I try them on I think they are adorable I'm not sure I'll love them in a few months.

I would love some camo crops if they are not sheer. Several girls at my gym have the older ones and they are sheer standing up.

@3:48 I picked up the Plum Still pants last week and they are definitely stills, not still grounded pants.

As for sizing, I vary between an 8 and a 10 in bottoms depending on the material. In tights and WU and such as well as most shorts I go with 8, in 2 way stretch skirts and especially run speeds shorts I go with a 10. I find my size 8 stills very roomy and comfy but not HUGE. Hope this helps.

Anyone have any idea what time the download would happen in new brunswick? Seems i am always late getting to everything with the time difference and all. Thanks!

That pacesetter in the sea check pattern is the worst! I am truly disappointed :( I wanted that in the worst way -- it came on Saturday and yep, too small. I can barely get it on and once I do get it on, the fabric pulls across the hips (yuck).

I can wear a 2 or a 4 in the pacesetters -- I ordered this in a 4 and it's terribly small.

Re; DSJ
I sized up in my old one (6) and I just sized up in a new one. I wear a 4 in scubas.
Re; Chai time pullover. Anyone notice snags? Just picked one up in the store and got home to find 2-3 snags in it. Disappointing. Feels lovely, fits nice but probably not well made and thus over priced. :(

the material on the new pacesetter check pattern is 2 way swift and it is quite stiff, kinda feels like a size up item but not quite a whole size.
I would also be very interested in the camo pattern. I love the color combination. some tights or pants would be awesome, so would a CRB

I too got Ps skirt in plaid in size up from my usual 2T to 4T. Mine fits terribly. Getting it on is a battle and once its on it just looks off from way all my other Ps look. In same order I got black and inkwell astronomy shorts and I wouldn't recommend them either. The fit is so unflattering. Sits uncomfortably between leg area and the leg openings just make it a no go. Maybe great with a different body type.

Thank you Fran about the information regarding the Plum stills! I find it very disheartening that you can't seem to get correct information from the GEC about products that are advertised on This blog. The LLAs seem to know More about the products than the GEC themselves. My previous Stills from 4 years ago where a size 2, so should I stick with the same size in the new stills? anyone know!? Thanks!

The upload of new products usually happens around...2:20 a.m. New Brunswick time. :) Sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later.

@11:13 AM, Based on my experience, I would say get the same size you always have for Stills. I got the 8 and I thought they fit the same as my other 8s.

Good luck!

Fran :)
