Two more Sea Wheeze photos have popped up. One shows the Swiftly we saw the hem of from a recent photo. The other shows a pair of Speed (I think) shorts. (Thanks to Eric for the second photo).

Heehee...Completely OT but check out this Define on ebay! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Rare-Lululemon-Tang-Space-Dye-Define-Track-Yoga-Running-Jacket-6-Small-/300940181276?pt=US_Womens_Athleticwear&hash=item46116ebf1c Yikes!
I was reading reviews earlier today for the fast track shorts and noticed people were saying they bought them in store for $39! I emailed two of my stores and sure enough they also have them for 39 in all colors even love red. I am very surprised but plan on getting a pair. I had bought then returned them thinking I would wait and get them on MD. Anyway thought I would share. I found these to be a size up item. I normally wear a 4 and bought a 6.
OT but I just have YogaSmoga feedback regarding the return if my SHEER pink crops and was insulted to find being accused of wearing a size too small. Considering I sized up and ordered two pairs to be able to tell difference in sheerness, I was disappointed at this response. The pink crops were sheer with nude panties:
check out some pics we have with the fit models wearing the pink on our facebook facebook.com/yogasmoga and we dont see that unless you wear super dark color panties. We also do a Inston stretch test where a robotic arm stretches the fabric with 20 pounds of force.
Our fit model are:
Size 2: Waist 24, Hip 33 Size 4: Waist 26, Hip 35 Size 6: Waist 28, Hip 37
3crazykids- I got the same insulting comments from YOGASMOGA as well. I actually got a phone call from their customer service, the guy scolded me for almost 30 minutes. I got their sizing info from their website but the YS guy said I was just trying to pretend to be a smaller size than I am. Not impressed with their see through product and hate their arrogant customer service.
Wow. I'm disappointed to hear about the response from YS! I believe that lighter colors will always be a little less forgiving...but if you did follow the size chart and then they say you ordered a size too small?!?!? C'mon!
I'll have to admit, I myself am a little disappointed in the pink YS crops I ordered and received. The material is a bit thinner than I expected. It's true, I could see the white rip tag when I bent over, but, I can't see skin when I bend over, so feel very safe wearing these to class and to teach in. I can see a lot of definition in my muscles through the material, but it could just be the nature of a form-fitting light colored pants. I had a participant in class wear pink tights made by Calvin Klein, purchased at Winners. I wish I had those tights. It's made of a thicker non-luon material...almost like a thicker Luxtreme or a softer version of Nike dri-fit wear. It is definitely not see through and appears to be quite breathable and good at wicking away excess moisture.
Overall, for all the hype YS initially received, I'm disappointed in the product. Would I buy from them again? Not for the price that they are selling at.
I agree totally about YS. I don't see what the big deal is about them. I didn't think their product lived up to the hype. Especially considering you have to prepay for a product that doesn't arrive for 3-4 months. That is NOT standard in retail. You pay when the item ships. Sorry, YS, but yoga leggings don't count as some super special haute couture only made for you preorder.
@9:59am - I saw that define. I can't believe that they are asking $599. That's crazy.
Went to my store and no full luon WUC yet to try out.
Also, they had the light blue/stripes on side scuba and denim scuba. The denim sold out in my size though. But I noticed that the light blue one has a dark plastic zipper (which looks nice) and the denim scuba has the metal zipper, which looks so shiny. I can't get past the zipper. I noticed the zipper more so than the fabric. Too bad.
re yogasmoga, I would almost say their sizing is a bit smaller than lululemon. Size 2 for me was sheer but size 4 is perfect (in blue), so sizing up is worth a shot even if you don't normally do that for LLL. I'm 5'5" 105 for reference.
@7:13am - Quality doesn't have to do with the pattern of an item, it has to do with constuction of the item. While you may not like the appearance of the shorts, it doesn't mean the quality is suffering. And based on the comments above, I think it's a mixed bag of positive and negative reviews.
I like the stripes on the sea wheeze shorts, very cute and youthful looking.
3crazykids and 9:50 I actually think that most of the nylon lycra crops are made for very small women. as you can see in the sizes that were shown with the fit models. If you have thighs or hips that measure more than 37" then you'll have problems with sheerness. They are not doing any favors for curvy or super muscular women.
To all those discussing YS customer service and sizing, I thought I might just share my experience.
I ordered my YS leggings with the $50 coupon from LLA. While I'm not crazy about the material (thicker gauge knit, so it doesn't have the same soft feeling that most Lulu stuff has and also a bit shiny), I don't have any problem with sheerness. I emailed customer service before I ordered, and asked if I should order a 6 based on my height/weight and regular Lulu size (5'5,135 Lulu size 6). They were very helpful, nice, and right on. The pants fit just as they should, I just don't really like them as well as some of the stuff I can find at my nearest Nike outlet or when I'm patient enough to wait till Lulu goes on sale. I probably would have returned them if I had paid full price, but considering they were under $40 I kept them.
I was told by YS that I am between a 2 and 4. I am a solid 2 in lulu, even in the denim. I'm 4'11" and 95 soaking wet. Even if the crops ran small, a 4 should've been sufficient as the waist was a bit big even according to my husband! I shouldn't have to size up to a 6 to get the opaqueness needed. Sure I can see my muscle definition in the pink size 4 but I can also clearly see everything else. Service was fine until I mentioned sheerness and then all the old lulu excuses came out. I've had good Luon from days of old so YS can give me every excuse in the book, there IS a difference.
I haven't had experiences with sheerness at all with YS. I love their crops - wear them running and yoga. I don't know if it makes a difference mine were from the first batch. No sheerness whatsoever here.
Not as good as old Lululemon WUs (from a few years ago), but much better than the current ones. I've also had them for months and they still look very new.
Yogasmoga in size 2 was very sheer in a squat position for me. It was fine standing up, but indecent when I bent down. I have wunderpants in size 2 and 4 in lulu, my waist is 25, hips 33 - that would be a size 2 yogasmoga according to their size charts. I am not going to bother trying the size 4 now, just a straight return.
Yogasmoga told me they shipped the bolts of fabric up from South America to their US factory so the material has not changed.
However, they did change the fit in between production runs so when people sized down based on the fit of the first run the second run is turning out to be too small for some people.
I just got my YogaSmoga crop exchange - I had initially ordered a size 2 (my usual LL wunder under size) and it was TINY. I'm <103 lbs, usually wearing size 24 in designer denim, and 00 (or its equivalent) in other brands. I actually heard a stitch pop as I was trying to take them off. I exchanged them for a size 4 and it was much better. The carbon color has a more polyester-y feel than my black WU but they're also a much deeper black. The rise is also much higher than the WU which is disappointing because I'm a low-rise kinda gal. Construction is great though.
It stinks that the fits would change while people were still trying to get the backordered sizes. I originally got the crops and pants in a 6 and the crotch was super baggy. I ordered 4s in each and when they FINALLY came, they fit a lot better, but the pants fit smaller than the crops did so I wonder if the crops were the original run and the pants were not. The pants seemed to have a lower rise and the logo on the waistband was tiny compared to the other YS bottoms that I have.
@ 7:29, what dreamworld and/or denial are you living in? Quality absolutely has to do with not only the construction/manufacture of an item, but the overall DESIGN which includes the appearance of the item. LLL is going for a juvenile crowd. Go for it LLL, you are getting almost none of my disposable income. And btw, LLL quality in general is abysmal in at least over a year & a half for many items.
@Luluaddict: I thought would share my experience this afternoon. I went into the Yogasmoga office today as I work down the street from them. I wanted to exchange a size and I invited myself over!
They were super helpful and showed me some of the new stuff that was coming so I don't agree with many of the comments here.
I tried on the sizes at their office and the fabric is nice and thick. I tried the Pink and Blue Crops both size 4 and 6 (I am in between sizes) - I bent over and looked at the large mirror in their office and I did not see any sheerness.
They also told me that they had improved fits in the new production run as they had gotten feedback and are always looking to improve. I really did like the fit of the crops and they fit really well.
I also met their head designer who showed me some of the new products they are working on -- pretty awesome-- I was very impressed. I loved the new shorts and the new reversible legging prototypes she showed me. She said that she was personally helping people who are emailing them to get into the right sizing as some people commented to size down - she said to email them about any sizing questions and they are happy to help everyone get in the right size.
Overall I loved visiting them -- they are a small company but I could really feel their positive energy.
I loved the product, the company and the people behind yogasmoga. I am going to support them and I can't wait to go into their first store (they said that they are working to get a space in NY).
@RunLikeTheWind -Sorry don't agree with you - you think it stinks that yogasmoga improved the fit? I find it funny that we give companies feedback and then when the company takes the feedback and improves we complain about it again. Ha Ha. For the record, I was one of he people who gave yogasmoga lots of feedback and I am really touched that they listed to what I had to tell them and made improvements. I got a follow up email from the designer to tell me that she found some of my comments quite valuable.
I got yogasmoga's from both the 1st gen and 2nd gen - both are size 6. I got crops in blue from the first run and then pink crops in the second run. (the tag on the first one says USA/El Salvador and the new one says Made in USA --- yaaaay!)
I compared them and both feel good but the second run in pink is just a bit more tighter and fitted in the top half of the pant for me (upto the thighs) - bottom half feels the same. Same pant, same size but I think they made small adjustments to improve overall fit.
The opening of the calf on the second one is just slightly larger - I had given them the comment that they should make the opening slightly larger to give more room for the calf muscles so they definitely listened.
From a size perspective I believe its the same size but the new ones feel slightly more improved for me. I am a size 6 both in Lulu and yogasmoga sizing is very comparable to LLL.
The fabric in both seems the same and I quite like the pink color. Unlike teeny-bopper Pink from LLL I find these to me more elegant (I am 47) and sophisticated.
I wore both my pink and blue ones to run and yoga and no sheerness whatsoever. I know a bunch of people are out on a "sheerness" witch-hunt and have gotten obsessive about it but I personally think that the fabric quality is nice and rich and not see thru at all. Yogasmogas are not skimping on the fabric like LLL has done.
@anon5.48 Coudn't agree more. I really like my yogasmoga and smells like lulu rats!
If you cant beat them, trash talk other companies. Sour grapes.
Folks - No sheeness here with yogasmoga. Waiting with my credit card to buy some new yogasmoga product. Check out new reversible leggings they just hinted on on their Facebook - loving it. I hope my butt looks as good as the photo!
@downtown girl - I know someone else who exchanged some pants in person, too. She had a nice visit with them.
I think they are a decent company and I like their fabric a lot. I very much like they make everything in the US. I understand their product won't appeal to everyone or fit everyone perfectly but overall I like them a lot and I think most people have seemed to like what they ordered from them.

I'm a sucker for stripes. Will end up paying an ungodly amount on eBay if these pop up!
Those striped shorts are pretty juvenile and unattractive. I guess LLL has no intention of stepping it up and getting back to quality.
Holy awesome photo of Moscow!!! The striped shorts aren't too bad, either. I think people will really like those.

Yikes!
Wow, this is really disappointing so far. I'm not interested in anything!
I still like the race participant Speed or Track Attack Shorts better :) Hoping the rest of the Expo offerings are more stellar!
Gaaah, those speeds are so lovely!! I wish I was going, I want these so badly!
OT: anyone know when the Columbia MD mall store is opening? Saw they are close to completed. Also do they normally do any events for store openings?

I am smelling a rat with the yogasmoga talk. Lulu corperate interns trying to stamp out the new competition?
